Aubergine 29-01-2018 09:05 PM

It's so embarrassing! Worst one was in the GP surgery. I was like... Honestly, I'm fine, it just happens sometimes! And when I'd just opened the door to the crisis team once. Oops! Usually I'm on my own and have just got out of bed or something. :P

Sketchy 29-01-2018 09:06 PM

Is there anything that can help with the low blood pressure?

Cacoethes 29-01-2018 09:08 PM

Last time i went to see my GP, i had to spend the entire appointment laying on the floor because i felt dizzy
We were still chatting as normal though!

nonperson 29-01-2018 09:08 PM

I fall up and down my stairs all the time because they're narrow and go around a corner... and I'm usually in a rush.

Fell over my laptop cable the other day. Got it tangled round my foot when I got up, so laptop slammed on the floor and traumatised the cat. =P

Aubergine 29-01-2018 09:10 PM

Haha Beckie! Oh dear!

Not really, Lorraine. Drinking plenty of water and not getting up too quickly! It's not really dangerous unless I fall over and hurt myself.

More haste more falling over, Person! Oops! Hehe. Poor cat. :P

nonperson 29-01-2018 09:12 PM

Less haste, more being late for work ;-)

Cacoethes 29-01-2018 09:14 PM

We all seem to be a clumsy bunch!!

Aubergine 29-01-2018 09:15 PM

Get up earlier!

Unless you follow the rule of the haiku for getting out of bed. No no no no no...

nonperson 29-01-2018 09:19 PM

I'm really rubbish at getting out of bed on time...

I've been told I don't even walk in a straight line so I'm clumsy when walking next to people too, randomly surging sideways into them! I'm not sure how true this is though.

Aubergine 29-01-2018 09:21 PM

Me too, don't worry. I tend to roll out, into clothes, then run out of the door. Bed is lovely. Outside of bed is not!

Cacoethes 29-01-2018 09:23 PM

I tend to drift into people when I walk!
I've done it since I was a kid

Bed is too good!!
I get a bit of a lie in tomorrow because of my dentist appointment

Pomegranate 29-01-2018 09:23 PM

Love bed!

Aubergine 29-01-2018 09:24 PM

I'm sure I heard somewhere that if we didn't have something to follow, we'd walk in a circle and not a straight line, no matter how straight we think we're walking. I'm not sure how true that is though...

Hey Emma! How goes it?

nonperson 29-01-2018 09:26 PM

I love bed in the morning, but I don't like going to bed...! Makes no sense.

Pomegranate 29-01-2018 09:26 PM

That sounds really weird! I wonder if we could test the theory in a field or something?

So so. Just got home from my friends and having some wine whilst playing with the cat and watching Castle.

Aubergine 29-01-2018 09:27 PM

How was it at your friends? I like Castle! :)

I think testing the theory could be fun! I could blindfold someone!

Cacoethes 29-01-2018 09:27 PM

Sounds like a good evening Emma!

I wish I had a pet!

Aubergine 29-01-2018 09:30 PM

Me too, Beckie! Shall we petition our landlords?!

Cacoethes 29-01-2018 09:32 PM

Yes we should!!

Pomegranate 29-01-2018 09:35 PM

Haha! My landlord doesn’t know...

Aubergine 29-01-2018 09:36 PM

Let's do it! I would like a middle aged/elderly cat that I can love for the rest of its days. :)

Aubergine 29-01-2018 09:36 PM

Emma! You rebel!

Pomegranate 29-01-2018 09:38 PM

Blame it on my CC- she made it my ‘homework’ one week

Pomegranate 29-01-2018 09:38 PM

I’ve also got a six foot cat tower so not quite sure what I’ll do if the landlord comes round!

Cacoethes 29-01-2018 09:39 PM

My letting agent does inspections every 3 months so there's no way I could get away with that!!

Aubergine 29-01-2018 09:41 PM

Hahaha!

I'm currently managed by a really posh, strict letting agent. My landlord is taking management over though (because I'm a star tenant. (oh, and because it'll save her money...)). I'm going to ask her in July, as I'll have been here two years then and never caused a problem/cost her any money. :satisfied:

Cacoethes 29-01-2018 09:45 PM

Sounds like you're in for a chance then Aubergine!!

Pomegranate 29-01-2018 09:45 PM

Def ask her! Mine is really therapeutic! My landlord and agency have never done a check in six years. I also have a bright purple feature wall :-/

Cacoethes 29-01-2018 09:48 PM

Wow!
I don't think I'd be brave enough even if my landlord didn't do checks!
Just in case they randomly did a check!

Aubergine 29-01-2018 09:51 PM

My checks were every three months for the first 6 months, now they're every six months. Next one is not due until after landlord takes over management. Not sure what she'll do then. When she phoned me to ask me if I'd mind her taking over from agent, she said her other tenants phone the plumber/sparky on their own and everything - landlord just leaves her to it and pays the bill because they're reliable. She said she'd be the same with me because I have not "been a royal pain in [her] arse." Haha.

Pomegranate 29-01-2018 09:55 PM

Lol, that’s good!

I don’t think I’ve ever called the landlord for anything. I get really funny about anyone coming in my flat, even friends and family.

not_so_insig 29-01-2018 09:57 PM

I got interviewed by the local paper today so might be appearing in it tomorrow.

chinahorse 29-01-2018 09:58 PM

Evening all :)

Pomegranate 29-01-2018 09:58 PM

That’s cool! What were you interviewed about?

Pomegranate 29-01-2018 09:59 PM

Evening chinahorse :-). How are you?

The Welsh government are proposing to let 16 and 17 year olds vote in local elections. They wanted to know my opinion on it.

Aubergine 29-01-2018 10:00 PM

Hey again Dawn!

Hey Lillie! How goes it?

I don't mind people coming in my flat as long as it's tidy.

Pomegranate 29-01-2018 10:03 PM

Problem is when I’m unwell it can get really really bad and I struggle to keep on top of it even when well and I don’t want people to realise how bad things get although three of my friends have seen it pretty bad.

That sounds really interesting not so insig! Did they take your photo?

Cacoethes 29-01-2018 10:03 PM

Im going to bed now guys
Night all!

chinahorse 29-01-2018 10:09 PM

Oh that's pretty cool dawn!

I'm managing to keep my place tidy enough so far despite doing 6 day stretches at work fairly regularly.

Night beckie, hope you sleep well x

not_so_insig 29-01-2018 10:10 PM

Yes they took my photo. I would post link but it reveals my village because they asked where I live and my age.

Aubergine 29-01-2018 10:11 PM

Nighty night, Beckie. :)

I'm like that, Emma. I've lived with flies more than once. :/ My Mum usually comes and throws everything in bin liners and we start again, sans flies/mould.

Well done, Lillie. :) I love living on my own. So much nicer than sharing. How're you finding it?

chinahorse 29-01-2018 10:19 PM

I really like living on my own.

I should go to bed too but I'm hungry but too tired to move. Problem!

not_so_insig 29-01-2018 10:21 PM

I fell asleep before but I should go to bed early.

Aubergine 29-01-2018 10:22 PM

*sends food to Lillie*

Bed sounds good, Dawn.

Pomegranate 29-01-2018 10:26 PM

Night Beckie!

Ha, been there Aubergine! You sound really productive Chinahorse!

Aubergine 29-01-2018 10:35 PM

Sat on my bed like a monk.

Pomegranate 29-01-2018 10:36 PM

Are you meditating? What you upto?

chinahorse 29-01-2018 10:40 PM

Somewhat too productive I think. My body is unhappy lol

Erm well at least you're a comfy monk aubergine!

Aubergine 29-01-2018 10:44 PM

I'm not really sure what I'm up to. Listening to music and sitting here, like I have been most of the day! Thankful for the internet company. :)

I hope you can rest tonight, Lillie.
