Sketchy 20-12-2016 01:17 AM

You too. Good night.

Serendipity. 20-12-2016 01:29 AM

Night! xx

Buttons. 20-12-2016 06:35 AM

Hope everyone slept well, I'm up at the crack of dawn as per but did pretty much sleep through so not too put out and I have bugger all I have to do today, shopping is in, no appointments that I can recall so chillaxing :P

Cacoethes 20-12-2016 09:48 AM

Morning guys!

Waiting for house inspection lady and washing machine guy. I really hope they don't come at the same time because having one stranger in the house is bad enough! Two strangers in the house at one time will probably make my head explode!!

What's everyone's plans for the day?

Buttons. 20-12-2016 03:19 PM

Fingers crossed they come at separate times Beckie!

I may have an ear infection and I just accidentally poked myself in the eye :P feeling a tad sorry for myself (physically) so any distraction anyone can offer be my guest!

Cacoethes 20-12-2016 03:35 PM

They did come at separate times luckily!
But bad news is that my washing machine is beyond repair. The closest laundrette to me is an hour bus journey away :/
Gonna have to end up going though!

Oh no! Ear infections are horrible! Have you got any ear drops ot anything?
And poking yourself in the eye isn't too either!

Voldemort 20-12-2016 04:04 PM

Afternoon all.

Buttons. 20-12-2016 04:12 PM

That laundrette situation sounds like a pain in the arse!

Still don't know if it's an actual ear infection or just sore ears+weird taste buds etc, am giving it another day or so then if still bad will try adn get in GP for some drops.

Afternoon, how are you lovely?

Cacoethes 20-12-2016 04:15 PM

It is a massive pain in the arse! I don't even think I've got anything big enough to carry all my washing all the way there! Ugh!

Sounds like a plan Katy. I hope it eases up soon! Ear pain is horrible!

Hi amy! :)

Buttons. 20-12-2016 04:20 PM

Could your mum not drive you as a one off while things get sorted with washing machine?

Cacoethes 20-12-2016 04:30 PM

No. For her to pick me up she'd have to drive past the town with the laundrette and then go back to town and then drive me home then go all the way back to hers. She just doesn't have the time unfortunately.
A taxi would cost me £20-30 each way so that's also a no go!
I'm sure I have a bigger suitcase somewhere so will have to dig that out and hope it's big enough!
I have a blood test in that town on Thursday though. So I could take it all on that day as I'll be in town anyway.

Buttons. 20-12-2016 04:51 PM

Sorry to hear that.

Sounds like a poa with combining it with your bloods though. Hope you manage to find the suitcase. Also in the bigger supermarkets they sometimes sell fairly cheap and big and strong cloth laundry bags-I know I picked up a few when I had to trek my stuff at one point.

Cacoethes 20-12-2016 05:11 PM

Thanks Katy. I'll check out the laundry bag situation when im in asda tomorrow :)

How's your afternoon going? It feels a lot later than it is!

Buttons. 20-12-2016 05:16 PM

No problem, hope you find something :)

I agree, I keep thinking it's full blown evening then looking at my watch and being fundamentally confused. On other days recently I've actually checked said watch hasn't stopped :P Hows yours going?

Buttons. 20-12-2016 05:18 PM

I've also decided I need to invent a robot who will smoke and fetch sustenance on my behalf :P *heaves self off sofa to go smoke*

Cacoethes 20-12-2016 05:55 PM

Haha! !
Yeah not too bad. Just watching game of thrones and thinking about what to have for dinner.

That robot sounds like a fantastic invention!! Make one for me too!! :p

Voldemort 20-12-2016 06:17 PM

The laundry problem sounds like an awful pain, Beckie.

Go to the GP if you need to, Katy!

Serendipity. 20-12-2016 06:25 PM

That sounds like an excellent idea Katy, I want one! Also I hope your ear feels better soon <3

Sorry about your washing machine Beckie. RIP washing machine.

Hi Amy :)

Voldemort 20-12-2016 06:33 PM

Hey Hannah, how are you?

Cacoethes 20-12-2016 06:40 PM

Thanks Hannah.

Good evening all!

Voldemort 20-12-2016 07:14 PM

Evening. What are you up to tonight?

Sketchy 20-12-2016 07:25 PM

Evening all. I'm doing nothing much. Think I'll read soon.

Cacoethes 20-12-2016 07:39 PM

I'm not doing much either.
Watching game of thrones then I'll watch eastenders and holby.

Sketchy 20-12-2016 07:42 PM

Sounds like a good plan. Sorry about your washing machine. I was in the same position a while ago so I know how frustrating it must be. Can you use your mums?

Cacoethes 20-12-2016 08:01 PM

Thanks.
My mum lives over an hour and a half away by bus (and the bus to hers is really infrequent and unreliable)
But I asked about it on a local selling page and apparently there is a cleaners somewhere in my town. I'll call them tomorrow. It is probably one of those that takes a while to clean your clothes though. The other one I called said they could pick up on Thursday but it wouldn't be done until next Thursday because of the holidays.
But we'll see. Fingers crossed!!
It is really quite annoying living in a rural town sometimes!

Sketchy 20-12-2016 08:04 PM

I hope it works out and you get your clothes. It must be harder living in a rural town, but I'm sure it also has it's advantages. I live in quite a busy area.

Cacoethes 20-12-2016 08:14 PM

Thanks Lorraine .

Yes it does have definite advantages! I don't think I'd choose to live anywhere else. It's nice and quiet here.

Voldemort 20-12-2016 08:41 PM

I hope you get your clothes sorted, Beckie.

Hi Lorraine!

Cacoethes 20-12-2016 08:47 PM

I *think* I may have found somewhere! Got to call them in the morning but they do free collection and delivery if you're within a 5 mile radius, which I am, and should be able to wash and dry everything same day!
Sounds too good to be true but fingers crossed!

Sketchy 20-12-2016 09:08 PM

Fingers crossed for you.

Hi Amy.

Voldemort 20-12-2016 09:26 PM

Also have my fingers crossed.

Cacoethes 20-12-2016 09:31 PM

Thank you both

How are you guys?

Sketchy 20-12-2016 09:37 PM

Low, but ok. I'm hiding in my bed. I'll try be more productive tomorrow.

Voldemort 20-12-2016 09:46 PM

Sorry you're not feeling so well, Lorraine. I hope tomorrow is better.

I'm having a rough day but I'll manage. I always do.

Sketchy 20-12-2016 10:04 PM

Sorry to hear that Amy. Tomorrow is a new day. Let's hope it will be a better one.

Cacoethes 20-12-2016 10:15 PM

Sorry you're not feeling great, both of you. *hugs*
As Lorraine said, tomorrow is a new day!

I'm watching hot fuzz. Great film!
Probably won't make it til the end though. Very sleepy!

Sketchy 20-12-2016 10:17 PM

I love that film. I have it on DVD.

Cacoethes 20-12-2016 10:33 PM

It's a brilliant film. Never get bored of it!
It reminds me of a village I used to live in!

Cacoethes 20-12-2016 10:42 PM

I'm off to bed. Good night everyone and sleep well!

Buttons. 21-12-2016 07:33 AM

Confession, I have never seen that film!!

Sounds great about the cleaners *crosses fingers*

Going to try and actually get up the courage to post my neighbours' Xmas cards (I wish they'd stop sending them to me nice as it is, I'm not an Xmas card exchanger, but the thought is there so I'll be playing postmman today)

Cacoethes 21-12-2016 11:23 AM

You need to watch it Katy!!!

Good news! My washing is being collected at 11:30 and will be returned to me by 3pm. Yay!

I'm rubbish with Christmas cards!
Hope you manage to get out Katy. I'm sure they wouldn't mind you not sending a card though so don't pressure yourself.

Serendipity. 21-12-2016 11:28 AM

Yay for laundry! Katy I agree with Beckie!

I am terrible at Christmas this year. I haven't even sent any cards yet. Oops!

Cacoethes 21-12-2016 11:50 AM

The last post must be soon I think?
I always intend to send cards but never get round to it. I wish I was one of these super organised people!

Serendipity. 21-12-2016 12:33 PM

I think I missed it! Yeah, I relate to that. The only new years resolution I make - and I make it every year!! - is to be more organised, but it never seems to happen!

Cacoethes 21-12-2016 12:42 PM

Yep me too!
I've come to terms with the fact that I will never be organised!
Maybe a calander it would help? I put things in my phone calander but don't always look at it!

Washing has been picked up so I'm off to asda!

Have you got plans for today Hannah?

Serendipity. 21-12-2016 01:46 PM

Haha, my problem is mainly laziness tbh, I remember when stuff needs to be done, I just don't necessarily do it! :P

Are you buying anything nice at Asda? I've just been shopping but not food shopping, I went to get headphones and other bits and bobs.

I'm good thank you, how are you doing?

Cacoethes 21-12-2016 02:09 PM

I can relate to that :p

Just a few bits like fruit and milk. Nothing terribly exciting!
And a birthday card for my brother. His birthday is on Christmas day.
I don't need to buy a great deal of food because I'll be away for a few days for Christmas so I will be fed!

I'm not bad thanks. Waiting in for washing and going on a second date tonight!

Serendipity. 21-12-2016 04:22 PM

Must be pretty **** to have a birthday on Christmas day!

Ooh second date sounds good. What are you going to do? Btw I totally thought your r/v said that you got laid yesterday and I was like oh right, good for Beckie, but then I realised you probably meant paid :P

Cacoethes 21-12-2016 05:09 PM

He doesn't seem to mind it. He gets much bigger and more expensive presents. He'll probably do something with his friends as well because he'll be 18.

We're going to mini golf. We meant to do it on the first date but we decided to keep drinking so he couldn't drive!
Should be fun!
Haha!!! Such an awkward mistake! Damn autocorrect! I will be proof reading things more carefully from now on! XD

Have you got anything planned for the evening?

Sketchy 21-12-2016 05:40 PM

Hey everyone. I plan to do some house work this evening. What about everyone else?
Beckie, I hope you get your washing back ok.
