I've never heard of it used like that before or even seen the similarity to the word propaganda. o.O

That's exciting Tamo. What're you making?

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 06:48 PM

Oh! That's a fun word to say-

That sounded weird. I'm weird XD

The spanish one would be basically silent but slightly stronger like a light H

That's funny, I've never heard it used the way you did either-

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 06:50 PM

I found an old thread you made np and I really liked it ^^"

nonperson 16-04-2020 06:50 PM

Oops, that reply was so late.

I think courgette is also called zucchini in the US?

nonperson 16-04-2020 06:51 PM

Which?

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 06:57 PM

OH! I love zucchini!

https://www.recoveryourlife.com/foru...d.php?t=246952

^ that one, the one about the jar of marbles ^^"

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 07:25 PM

How're you Tamo?

chinahorse 16-04-2020 07:46 PM

NP!!!!! How often am I ment to water a succulent?

nonperson 16-04-2020 08:03 PM

Not very often! Treat it like a cactus, let it dry out completely and then give it a good soak.

nonperson 16-04-2020 08:03 PM

Or, the way I treat mine - water them when I remember. =)

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 08:03 PM

My history teacher (I loved her!) drowned her cactus!

chinahorse 16-04-2020 08:09 PM

Yay. Managed to luck out and buy a plant I like that I may actually be able to keep alive! My cactus is the sole survivor of several years of attempts to keep plants.

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 08:11 PM

Also NP?

How would you keep Night Jasmine or a Money Plant alive?

My mom has 3 night jasmines and 3 money plants and they aren't quite thriving to put it gently

nonperson 16-04-2020 08:14 PM

Good luck Lillie. =)

Money plants are succulents so same advice as above. Nice sunny spot too and well drained compost.

Not sure what a night jasmine is... hold that thought while I research.

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 08:16 PM

Oh, it's kind of shriveling up at the moment, I think we're under watering it-
Mom! I told you!

Thank you!

nonperson 16-04-2020 08:17 PM

I don't know this plant but have grown the same genus but different species at work and it didn't like life in a pot in the greenhouse either. The ones we kept outside got hit by the frost but were better...

However, night jasmine says it's tropical so it probably won't like being outside and probably needs a lot more humidity than a house usually has. So that'd be my guess as to why they're not doing well.

chinahorse 16-04-2020 08:18 PM

Put it in the bathroom for a bit? They get steamy.

nonperson 16-04-2020 08:19 PM

Or it could be shrivelling because it's been overwatered and the roots have all rotted. =P Same symptoms, different problems. Again, compost could be a problem too. Or could need repotting if it's drying out too quickly. First thing I'd always do is see what the roots are doing.

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 08:19 PM

Ours were outside and then a snow storm came around and they shriveled up but they're sort of alive now

they seemed to thrive inside though

My history teacher managed to kill a flower and drown her cactus ^^"

nonperson 16-04-2020 08:19 PM

Very good idea, Lillie.

I want to turn my bathroom into an orchid room. =P

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 08:20 PM

Orchids are pretty!

nonperson 16-04-2020 08:23 PM

They are. I just threw most of mine away as I can't seem to find the right spot for them in this house. They did fine before I moved... so I've given up and am now deciding that my cactus/succulent collection should be expanded instead.

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 08:24 PM

Aw that sucks

Oooh where do you plan on putting them?

nonperson 16-04-2020 08:25 PM

No idea! All the sunny windowsills are already full. Can maybe squeeze a small one in somewhere... >.>

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 08:27 PM

Maybe the bathroom like Lillie (if you don't mind me calling you by your first name >.<) suggested, the bathroom?

nonperson 16-04-2020 08:30 PM

Too humid in there for cacti really. And not sunny enough.

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 08:34 PM

Ah, we've got a window in almost every bathroom, kinda assumed the same for you-

zombiehunter 16-04-2020 08:37 PM

*wanders the **** in*

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 08:38 PM

What does that mean? 0.o

nonperson 16-04-2020 08:45 PM

It just means zombie is here. =)

I do have a bathroom window but it is tiny. And has bathroomy stuff on it.

chinahorse 16-04-2020 08:48 PM

Lillie is fine :-)

Hi zombie!

I just put my plants where they look good/fit in.this could be part of the problem.

chinahorse 16-04-2020 08:50 PM

I want an orchid but after they loose their flowers they're just a twig in a pot. :-/

Really want a peace lily again but am particularly bad for killing them.

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 08:51 PM

Thank you ^^"

Hey Zombie!

What's a peace lily?

Bathroomy stuff?

Oh, ours are kinda big soooo yeah

nonperson 16-04-2020 08:55 PM

Orchids will flower again though! But yeah, maybe not if you just put them where ever. =P

I've got a new peace lily. Never grown one before so I'll see how it goes.

It's green and leafy with a white sort of flower - meant to be really good for oxygenising the air.

nonperson 16-04-2020 08:55 PM

Bathroomy stuff like shampoo!

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 08:56 PM

True :P

Oh my grandmother has those, she's over in England too (mothers side, 2nd gran)

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 08:57 PM

oh!

Sorry I'm trying to make sense of my health stuff and it isn't quite working out so my mind just feels like it's melting

chinahorse 16-04-2020 09:02 PM

Me and bertie bobs are on the mattress on the floor and itaodd.

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 09:03 PM

what does "itaodd" mean?

how are you and Bertie?

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 09:08 PM

My health teacher asked everyone a question and I'm not quite sure how to respond...

What is 1 word or phrase that describes you?

The ones I want to use will automatically raise red flags for everyone but yeah

chinahorse 16-04-2020 09:09 PM

It's odd. Other was a typo.

How about caring?

nonperson 16-04-2020 09:09 PM

Ah that's Lillie-speak for "it's odd". It's always weird sleeping on the floor, I think.

Well don't choose that word then, there are many others. How about "caring"?

nonperson 16-04-2020 09:10 PM

Jinx, Lillie!! =o

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 09:10 PM

Oh

Thank you...

My cousin gave me these
"Able to see the good in everyone

Beautiful inside and out"

And I don't really believe them but :/

nonperson 16-04-2020 09:12 PM

Well go with caring then.

I'ma go awol for a bit to eat lasagne. Nom.

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 09:15 PM

That one too
I wrote all 3 and wrote who they were from, I said "friends" for you and Lillie ^^"

Oooh yum! cya!

Also, can you ship me some? (teleports fine too!)

Shirayuki 16-04-2020 09:19 PM

I have to go, see you guys later or tomorrow?

nonperson 16-04-2020 09:34 PM

I somehow managed to make the biggest lasagne I've ever seen so I shall definitely teleport some to you.

See you tomorrow probably.

nonperson 16-04-2020 10:10 PM

Such an idiot. I left the lasagne out on the side to cool and the cat has licked all the cheese off the top!

*wail!*
