Oh, I forgot I have chocolate chip muffins. Would be rude not to share *shares* although there are only 4 but there are a lot more virtually.
|
Ooo, chocolate muffins!
|
Will you be having something tasty this evening, Tamo?
|
Shed would definitely be preferable XD
I have had a lovely time thanks! Stuck in traffic now which is making me anxious, even though i still have loads of time! Ooh muffins! Yummy! |

Although I confidently told T it was Thursday today and she was like  Happy evening all :) |
Ooh muffins! Thanks for sharing OSC.
Is a particularly nice shed Beckie? Maybe we could open a ward in it and then you wouldn't be in trouble for being there XD Good Evening Jenna! |
I'm glad you've had a good day, Beckie. Even if you were a bit late because of traffic that's not your fault. As you say though, you have plenty of time. It's easy to get anxious about these things.
When did you realise it wasn't Thursday, Jenna? Are you sure it's Tuesday? Or could it even be Monday? Trying to confuse you. Happy evening to you too. What will you be getting up to? |
I mean Thursday and Tuesday sound quite similar it's an easy mistake to make.
|
The shed is usually a mess tbh. But the outside bar is attached to one of them! So that could be fun!
Hi jenna! I still have a train to get lindsay. So missing it would have made me very late unless i missed picking up my new phone, which i don't really want to put off! But i have arrived 10 mins early XD Bank Holidays confuse everyone! |
Could be fun unless the people at the bar keep you awake when you are trying to sleep!
Hope phone collection goes smoothly. |
Hey guys, how is everyone?
CHMT told me "If I make a serious attempt on my life, they'd add me to their waiting list" |
I'm glad you're on track Cacoethes.
Happy evening Pi :) I can recite 21 sanskrit words for 'that' there are 42 more to learn. Edit Actually less than that because some repeat. |
People live upstairs so i guess it wouldn't be too bad!
And the sheds are in the yard. Thanks! My train goes to Brighton. I'd rather be going there XD Hey beth! That's terrible of the cmht! Aren't they supposed to be preventing those kind of shenanigans?! That's impressive tamo! |

16 years??
Jeez. The state of services sometimes! |
The point where you start seriously considering hiding out in a shed...
Brighton is fun, pebble beach rather than sand though so it gets marked down for that. Why are there so many Sanskrit words for that Tamo? I am intrigued? |
Yep, bounced between services each saying they can't help me. I'm too complex for IAPT, not suicidal enough for CHMT, so they bounce me between the two and neither can help me. 16 years of that.
Finally had an assessment with the primary mental health team in March, who told me to re refer through IAPT, and also referred me to medical psychotherapy. IAPT phone call was friday; I meet all the criteria for CPTSD and BPD but they don’t diagnose it and it’s not something they deal with either, that’s private only but they’re trying to find out who I need to see. Like, what type of therapist I would need. So they’re phoning me in a few weeks. I can't just phone a random therapist like "HALP!" But there's nothing they can offer me. Medical psyotherapy assessment: he is just the assessor and can choose whether to refer me for CBT/DBT/another medical psychotherapist/group therapy/CHMT (who have already said no, because I’m not suicidal, and I've said no to 5 hours of group therapy with them because I can't afford to have to loose a day of work every week they have nothing for me)/no therapy because opening it up could be more damaging. I’ve had my assessment and have another with him this week cos he hadn’t ruled anything in or out yet. |
They could sneak me food from the kitchen!
:-D Yeah that's true! Ffs. How have they not worked out there needs to be some sort of in between service yet?? |
Because that would be logical!
I came home to two letters for my Grandparents today (I live in what was their house) - their care plans with the council are moving to a new company, and they haven’t completed a new care plan, and to complete the forms. I rang them and they were like ‘ahh are you authorised to speak on their behalf?’ I said ‘I’m as authorised as you’re going to get, they both died 7 years ago!’ |
She was a bit mortified over the phone! Apparently the old company didnt sort through the data and just sent everyones records to the new company.
|
*puts on mod hat*
Please can we keep detailed CMHT/MH chat etc to support threads! I think some people are finding this getting a bit intense. Thanks! |

I am most confused by 3 numbers???
Although 7 cases is wild - in German there are only 4 (I think?). We certainly only learnt definite articles for 4! |
3 numbers - singular, dual (2) and plural (3 or more)
7 cases - nominative, accusative, instrumental, dative, genitive, locative, vocative. |
Very exciting. Ukrainian has quite a lot of different versions of words. Words change based on number and gender. But the rules have lots of exceptions
(Source my brother is attempting to learn Ukrainian) |
How come your brother's learning Ukrainian?
|
I got back with 20 mins to spare!
So i went to wh Smith where i spent an extortionate amount on a can of diet coke because I couldn't afford a bottle from there! Over 50p more expensive than the nearby shop in maternity! Unfortunately they were closed. Dammit. But it was needed, because i was rushing about so much i realised i hadn't really had anything to drink for a while! And i picked up my shiny new phone! Installing everything now. I could afford a coke zero from there, but it was a £2 minimum on card :plain: Sorry for not catching up properly! I've been up since 4:30am and I'm shattered and feel slightly unwell! |
Time to rest Cacoethes!
|
My brother is married to a Ukrainian and is learning because 1. Wife and 2. Solidarity with the community.
They speak to each other in English in which she fluent and German in which he is fluent but she isn't (they live in Austria so it's the most spoken language). But he would like to be able to speak her language especially with the war and Russians trying to stamp out Ukrainian identity. |
Very good :)
|
How come you are learning Sanskrit? It's a really cool thing to learn but not very common.
|
I did spanish in highschool. When i realised it had two different versions of past tense i was like, 'nah!! I cba with this stupid stuff. I give up!!!'
My german classes were survival lessons for me. I can understand it spoken a bit and i can read okay-ish but i refuse to speak it because everything changes depending on the noun being male, female or silly. That's too much to ask of me!!! Learning languages is hard!!!! *_* |
I think so tamo!
Hopefully will get an early night! That's really nice that he's learning Ukrainian! I'm learning Spanish currently. I can understand a lot written down and hearing it. My pronunciation is awful! I've tried asking some questions to a Spanish speaking she was like...what? But got it eventually. I'm so bad at speaking it XD It is very hard zurg! |
Well you speak/write good English and I assume you are good at Danish Zurg! But languages are tricky especially ones where the words change and have genders.
|
Morning!
|
Morning everyone
What’s everyone got planned for their days? |
I have an appointment at 10. But they're gonna end up ****ing it up so I'll end up late and possibly not be seen.
Standard. How are you? |
Okay thanks, feeling a buit weird after therapy yesterday but okay in general :) I also have an appointment today but it shouldn’t take long, I’m doing everything on my claimant commitment for the jobcentre so I imagine it’ll be a tick box exercise.
Have you left yet? It does seem a bit daft that they’re letting ypu go home pretty much every day, but you have to have someone with you to appointments. Hope it goes okay :) |
Hopefully today will be a better day!
No. Lol. It is ridiculous. |
They’re cutting it fine if your appointment is at 10!
|
I'm now in a taxi alone. It takes over 30 mins to get there.
Idk why they couldn't have decided this an hour ago. And if i want a taxi back, i have to pay for it. You'd better believe I'm taking my time and getting a coffee. They probably won't even see me at this point. |

How frustrating Cacoethes! Definitely get a coffee!
It's my dad's birthday so we're going for dinner this evening. |

Morning everyone. I woke up before my alarm for second day in a row and today it was without my neighbours drilling waking me! *Shakes fist at staff making Beckie late for appointment* |
It's quite niche. There were five of us in the class.
Did you sleep OK? I got really hot, had to kick off my blanket. |
No way for you to fall asleep in lectures and not get noticed like I did a few times at Uni for civil engineering! That said I once went to ask the engineering management lecture something about an assignment and he said aren't you the one who always falls asleep in my lectures :whistling:
I slept okish. Took a while to get to sleep and had some rather odd dreams. I got too hot trying to sleep last night so ended up sleeping under a sheet rather than a duvet. |
Lol oh dear, he gotcha!
Maybe I should try the sheet option tonight, if it's warm again. |
Indeed in my defence it was a 9am and I have never been a morning person. I was impreased I made it to the lecture every week!
I keep the sheet in my bed when I am not sure if it will be warm so I can easily switch. |
I am off to the garden. It's sunny but windy today
|
It's sunny here too, no-coat weather! I'm a few minutes early for my blood test.
