I'm reading Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy... And it feels like I have been forever. Over 800 pages... Why did I choose this to get me back into reading??
After that it'll probably be Cancer Ward.

Exactly why I'm reading American Psycho at the moment.

Spoons 11-09-2010 11:05 PM

i have had american psycho in my to be read pile for so long, still not got round to it. Actually i think i have a couple of Bret Easton Ellis books in my to be read pile as the palahniuk forum heavily recommends him and i go on there a lot for recommendations.

i really need to actually read the books not just have a pile of them :P

I finished Misery by steven king last night. Was great! Though if you don't have time, just watch the film. Just as good.
Amazing he managed to churn a book that thick about a guy sat in the same room for weeks on end.

I'm reading 'Carrie' by Stephen King.Dad bought it for me.I've seen the movie (the first one) and I liked it.

american psycho was so dense, i found it really difficult to get into. also one part in particular is really grusome and very unpleasant that it kinda put me off.

Whipped through Da Vinci Code, got really into it then it came to the anti-climax at the end, and the twists seemed alittle, predictable?

Coffeemate 15-09-2010 04:02 PM

I've just finished Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S Thompson. Excellent twisted little book.
