The War Doctor 14-08-2010 07:56 PM

I'm reading so slowly lately; I'm not even halfway through Forbidden Colours, even though I'm enjoying it! What happened to me?! I used to read three or four books a week...

Oh wait, I know what happened. Pokémon Soul Silver happened. I can't stop playing that damn game.

I am reading Jose Saramago - Blindness.

I really want to like it as it's "my sort of book". But I... am feeling disappointed with it :-/

I kinda gave up on Moab is my Washpot By Stephen Fry - but I will try and return to it...kinda put it on hold until my attention gets better to deal with a book that jumps about as much as his does...

Now reading The Girl Who Played With Fire By Steig Larsson - I didn't think I would manage to concentrate on this (considering I was struggling to read a single page of the above book!) but I started it last night and am about 130 pages in! Really enjoying it! I am glad I bought the Millenium(sp!) trillogy, and would recommend it to people!

Im currently reading Tess Gerritsen "Harvest" - her books are excellend.

I recently completed "The Killing Zone" which was one of the best books I ever read. Also recently read Westlife "Our Story" which was good.

I love reading....

Reading 'Sectioned - A Life Interrupted' by John O'Donoghue. It's okay, I'm not enjoying it that much, finding it kind of boring.

I loved 'Blindness'.It was rather depressing, but very deep and metaphorical.

I've just finished reading 'Ungeduld des Herzens' (sorry,I googled the english title, but didn't find anything.maybe it's not translated in english, though it's a quite famous book) by Stefan Zweig.I LOVED it.

The Legacy by Katherine Webb. It's ok.

Siouxsie 20-08-2010 07:49 AM

The Dice Man by Luke Rhinehart (a pen name)
Explicit && somewhat triggering and hard to get into, but very interesting.

Devil Girl 20-08-2010 10:57 AM

I finished The Girl Who Played with Fire By Stieg Larsson. It was very good! And would recommend the series.

I agree Sectioned wasn't particullarly great!
But Perks of Being a Wallflower is a fantastic book!

I very nearly bought the perks of being a wallflower the other day. Might have to go back and get it.

I'm reading Shakespeares Measure for Measure when I have the concentration.
