The one good thing about the sunshine is it brings out all the butterflies and bees in the garden.

They're peaceful to watch. I put bird food out this morning too so hopefully there will be some birds to watch as well.

I want to get a bird feeder to put outside my window.
Only problem is I only have a front garden type thing and I don't want it to be vandalised. Even though this is a nice quiet area so it will probably be fine.

You can get small ones that stick on the window. I doubt anyone would want to touch or steal anything covered in bird poop. >.>

What is it with cats and dark corners?! Sooty has been chasing butterflies today, I’ve had to rescue at least 3 already today.

Yeah, this is true. Its not a disaster, I just feel bad for disappointing L because he looks forward to seeing me on Sundays. T had to calm him down apparently because he was upset, but I might see if she’s free later and pop round this evening.

Why do they have to chase butterflies. They're too pretty and rare to chase...

My now deceased neighbour put some bird feeders in the communal garden. I have only once seen any birds on them.

I like bird song. And the parakeets squawking and the owls hooting aaaand even the jackdaws, to an extent. =P

My family have a family of owls in one of their fields and they wake them up in the morning!

I dont mind owls. But tiny birds high pitched chirps are irritating in the extreme.
