Just finished Oedipus Rex by Sophocles. Next on my list of ancient Greek theatre is Birds by Aristophanes. I'm also still reading Amongst Women by John McGahern.

'The Woman Who Went to Bed for a Year' - Sue Townsend. It's kind of ridiculous, not exactly a great book, but it has made me laugh (I think my housemates now think I'm crazy!)

I read that years ago and loved it! I went on an apocalypse reading binge after it, including The Stand which is also fab. Thanks for reminding me about it!
