My Ebay parcel came today! It's a personal stereo. Had to go looking for a tape because I didn't like to leave feedback until I verified that it worked. It does btw.

Btw I couldn't find my Keeping Up Appearances tape which is uber annoying.

Music cassette tape?!

Cassette tapes and video tapes were nice chunky satisfying things.

Yes that is true... but they were so easy to break or tangle! Or got stuck in the machine.

Nonperson it's technically an audio book. But yeah otherwise an music tape. Unlike my record player I didn't have to ask here how to play an tape because I remembered how to play it (child of the 1980s). I imagine such technology is confusing to a modern kid.

Ah yes, the tangled or broken tapes, that was a big problem!

Did you see that video of parents giving their children a cassette tape and they were trying to figure out how to work it? There's probably loads of those videos though. They were like, where's the on switch?

No I haven't seen it. The nearest I have seen is American kids trying British food. One thought mushy peas was guacamole!

I prefer physical stuff so that's why I wanted an personal stereo. Dont get on with ebooks. Besides I have had my Keeping Up Appearances tape for a long time. I used to have a stereo but it broke.

Naww I have caught one of my cats giving the other a wash.

There's a parade and lots of stalls and stuff!
My step mum was running a stall of her art work so I hung out there for a bit.
It was a fantastic atmosphere
All about love and togetherness!
