Sofa came and is made. It's much bigger than it looks (and was expecting!) It's amazing though! Like, a sofa I never thought I'd never be able to own because it's so squishy and comfy and awesome!

I was glad to come back into the thread to see you all enjoying my sofa too! :P

I have done some more cleaning in a very slow way. Laundry is about done which leaves the hoovering and the shower. I have so much to do :( and feel very blah.

Oh Lillie. :( I wish I lived closer; I would help you to clean. Slow is OK. I know it can feel ovewhelming when there's so much to do. *hug* What can we do to help? Would you like to see a picture of Alec stealing MY spot on the sofa?!

I'm OK, yeah. Kind of. I woke up really early, then fell back to sleep and had horrible dreams that I couldn't get myself out out even when I eventually realised that they were dreams, because I couldn't move or wake myself up. So I'm just trying to calm down from that.


I'm alright though. Going to make some breakfast and get a drink. I've not got plan for the day. I can't go to the pool yet because it's "family swim" from 10am - 2pm, or I'd do that. Have a friend coming at about 2pm, which will be nice. We are going to go for a walk in the park, weather permitting. :)

I get the dream thing Aubergine, so sorry you experienced that. Sounds like will be good with your friend this afternoon though :) Might be going park myself later with dog. Depends on what random sw they've sent for today.

I think seeing the handsome kitty would help me recover enough to do some filing :)

(It's just frustrating. I am not this person. I am not this lazy and slow. Even of late I can clean the whole house in an hour in one go. And get most of my jobs done in a day.

Haha! No, definitely the pool. :P Might go after I've seen my friend, as it's open until 7pm and no children after 2pm! :D If the weather is bad we'll probably stay at mine and have a coffee. Or we might drive somewhere, as she has a car.

Alec melts my heart <3 I had some kitty time with upstairs athena yesterday. She invited herself in to my flat lol but she only sort of likes me. I can't wait to get my own.

Sort of likes you? Hehe! I'm excited for you for when you get your own - it's going to be great. You've got to have been there a year, haven't you? How much longer do you have to go?

She likes me on her terms but grumps at me because I often have to pick her up and remove her from my flat when I need to leave. She also wasn't much impressed by the cheese I tried to feed her.

He had a TINY bit of milk this morning, mainly because it was the only wat to stop him from trying to drink the milk in my cereal bowl. Didn't want to upset his tummy (for his sake and mine!)

My cat loves cheese. He only has it rarely and not loads, just like one little grating because Siamese are meant to be particularly lactose intolerant.

And milk and cream and mayonnaise and bacon grease.

I'm alright. Apart from I've come back downstairs and there seem to be flies everywhere!?

It came from Finland. It has a cat on the front.

Nice. Did they know you like cats?

Well I put that I like animals and interested in history. The stamp has a dog on it.

My friend has been sending me post cards with Dad's Army stamps on. :) She sent one to me when I was in hospital with a "Don't Panic" stamp on it, with a note to say sorry but she hadn't realised what the stamp said until she'd stuck it on. :P


Oh bum. Laundry. I've left some in overnight. Oops...


Oooo rocky road! Walk around the park sounds lovely. :) Has your laundry finished now? Other than bedding, I put pretty much everything on a 30 minute wash. :P

Aubergine a rinse and spin with some fabric conditioner in it will freshen it up!

I am clean and dressed. The house is also fully clean. I am however shattered now and having a rest before going to post my huge parcel.

I'm doing bedding and towels today and the first load was a disaster because as usual I overloaded the machine and have had to separate it out and do two extra spin cycles. Will I ever learn?

My work stuff gets absolutely filthy so a 30 min wash wouldn't do anything for my normal clothing wash!

Towels have just finished so I'll go hang them up and then go shower so I'm clean for going out.

It's really sunny out so it's probably going to be really busy. =/

And yes, reveal what was in the mystery parcel!

There was several postcards, chocolates, a coaster and 2 colouring books. Plus a China cat which has pride of place on my bookcase next to 2 glass cats in my parcel.

I thought you were going to say it was something really boring. That's an amazing mystery parcel. Do you know who it was from or is that still a mystery?

Yes I know who the parcel is from. It was the postcard from postcrossing I don't know who it's from.

Ah that's good. Would be strange to receive all that and not know.

I also received a pen in the parcel.

I once received a vase of flowers once when I was IP. Didn't know who it was from until several weeks later.
