I can loan mine out for a day if you like. He can be a bit too clingy sometimes! (But I love it really)

Cacoethes 30-12-2017 04:49 PM

Nawww!
What's his name?

Sketchy 30-12-2017 05:18 PM

I love a cuddly cat. I’m watching Molly tomorrow and expect lots of kitty cuddles.

How is everyone?

He's called Geordi (as in Geordi La Forge from Star Trek - geek alert..!) He's a Siamese so very chatty and cuddly and more like a dog sometimes.

Hi Sketchy. I'm super lazy today. How're you?

Sketchy 30-12-2017 05:39 PM

I’m lazy too. That’s a cute name for a cat. I always appreciate a geek reference. Fellow geek here!

Cacoethes 30-12-2017 05:44 PM

He sounds adorable!

Sketchy 30-12-2017 05:47 PM

Just got a text from my sister. Molly is being very naughty and climbing the curtains!

nonperson 30-12-2017 05:52 PM

Eek!

Have you got a scratch post climbing tower for her?

Cacoethes 30-12-2017 05:53 PM

Haha!
Naughty kitty!

Sketchy 30-12-2017 05:56 PM

Yes. We have that and everything else she may need. Curtains are clearly more appealing.

nonperson 30-12-2017 05:59 PM

Hehe, it's always more fun to play with things you're not meant to.

Sketchy 30-12-2017 06:00 PM

She’s a little menace. But lucky she’s cute and affectionate.

nonperson 30-12-2017 06:05 PM

She'll calm down a bit as she gets older. It's a shame the kitten everything-is-exciting-and-must-be-pounced-on stage doesn't last though.

Sketchy 30-12-2017 06:13 PM

She’s so excitable. Really adorable. I’ll be spending the whole day with her tomorrow. Our routine is, we just play for ages until I exhaust her. She sleeps and I use that as an excuse to get some lunch, since she begs for food even though she’s well fed. She just wants to know what we are having and wants to try. Then I play with her when she wakes up.

Cacoethes 30-12-2017 06:13 PM

Looks like casualty isn't on tonight :(

Sketchy 30-12-2017 06:14 PM

I noticed that. Not fair!

nonperson 30-12-2017 06:14 PM

A cat's life is fantastic. Mine begs for food too, especially chicken or turkey slices or cheese or KFC.

Just posted a couple of pics of him in the pet pic thread actually. =)

Sketchy 30-12-2017 06:16 PM

I don’t know why she begs for my food. I’m vegetarian! She does like to steal chicken from my sister.

I’ll go have a look!

Cacoethes 30-12-2017 06:17 PM

Cats do have the best lives!

He's so adorable!!

Sketchy 30-12-2017 06:18 PM

He is gorgeous!

nonperson 30-12-2017 06:19 PM

I won't let him see your comments in case his ego gets out of control.

nonperson 30-12-2017 06:19 PM

But yes he is.

Cacoethes 30-12-2017 06:20 PM

Haha!

Sketchy 30-12-2017 06:22 PM

I love cats. Getting Molly was the best thing me and sister could have done. Just sad I don’t live with her all the time. At least I’m just four doors away from her.

Cacoethes 30-12-2017 06:23 PM

Cats are great!

nonperson 30-12-2017 06:28 PM

I think that's a pretty good arrangement, Sketchy. Pets do make such a huge difference. Think I'd be lost without mine.

Sketchy 30-12-2017 06:30 PM

They are definitely good for you. Molly always cheers me up.

nonperson 30-12-2017 06:36 PM

I keep thinking about getting another kitten. Geordi would enjoy the extra company.

Sketchy 30-12-2017 06:40 PM

Does Geordi get along with other cats then? Company would be good.

nonperson 30-12-2017 07:01 PM

Yeah he's really easy going. I've had other cats in the past and he loved them both. I think he misses the company sometimes.

Eska 30-12-2017 07:26 PM

Evening everyone! How are you all doing?

Sketchy 30-12-2017 07:28 PM

Hi Eska. I’m fine thanks. How are you?

Eska 30-12-2017 07:32 PM

A bit tired, I've done four days of work in a row and it's been busy. I have tomorrow off though so I'm looking forward to that.

Sketchy 30-12-2017 07:38 PM

That’s good you have tomorrow off. I hope you can relax now.

Eska 30-12-2017 07:46 PM

Yeah :) I've got a few bits of washing and stuff to do and then i'm going to go into town to see my friend. I'll stay over at his too because I have work on new year's day and there will be no trains in.

Buttons. 30-12-2017 07:50 PM

Hope you enjoy your time with your friend Eska :)

I’m just watching big fat quiz of the year (no spoilers please :p) and my dog is enjoying a treat.

Sketchy 30-12-2017 07:57 PM

I hope you enjoy your day off.

That sounds good Buttons.

Aubergine 30-12-2017 09:44 PM

I have yet again got into bed without tidying my flat. I have been meaning to do it for days! I just hate tidying so very much, and would go out in the snow to avoid it (and I hate snow a LOT.)

nonperson 30-12-2017 09:58 PM

Tidying is overrated.

Aubergine 30-12-2017 10:02 PM

It really is. Bed is better. Especially as my flat is cold and my bed has an electric blanket!

How are you, Person?

nonperson 30-12-2017 10:25 PM

And if you hide under the blanket then you won't be able to see the mess and therefore it isn't there. Problem solved.

I'm alright. Amused at being called "Person". I've made and eaten soup so now I'm toasty warm on the inside and I have my last mince pie to eat for dessert with brandy cream which I am way too fond of. So, pretty good really.

Aubergine 30-12-2017 10:40 PM

Exactly! Who needs to tidy when they have a toasty warm bed and a massive duvet to hide under?!

Glad you're alright. Hehe. Do you use another name on here? Happy to keep calling you Person! Soup sounds great. What kind? Love a nice mince pie. I love brandy cream! And brandy butter. We had brandy butter with Christmas pudding on Christmas day and it was delicious!

nonperson 30-12-2017 10:47 PM

I don't really know what name to use on here to be honest. Not really up to using my real name. Person is kinda weird but funny.

I've got the extra thick brandy cream... I could eat it out of the tub like yoghurt.

nonperson 30-12-2017 10:48 PM

Oh and vegetable soup. Leek, carrot and potato.

Aubergine 30-12-2017 11:44 PM

Then Person you shall be!

Love that soup! Extra thick brandy cream sounds really lovely. Did you enjoy your mince pie?

I had rhubarb sponge with custard for dessert today, as I went out for lunch with my friends. :)

Serendipity. 30-12-2017 11:50 PM

Hello!

Soup sounds good! Mince pies and rhubarb sponge sound less good! I'm not a fan of fruit in my puddings :P

Eska 31-12-2017 12:17 PM

Morning :) How is everyone?

Cacoethes 31-12-2017 01:07 PM

Hey guys

nonperson 31-12-2017 01:25 PM

I think any fruit goodness in desserts are usually drowned out by the amount of sugar and that's what makes them super.

Morning all.

Sketchy 31-12-2017 01:38 PM

Hi all.

How are we all? I’m watching the cat. We’ve just played for a while and now she’s looking out the window.
