The trains arent too bad as they are air conditioned and no one can sit next to you. The waiting between them is awful. I'm in taunton now. Very sticky and another 20 mins till the train. Been here and on a loo hunt for 20 mins already. Found a loo but was shut for refurbiahmentand the only openfemales were other side of the station.

I've drank all my drinks now. :-( And the train shops are all shut. I arrive on my old city at 2.30 ish because this train is delayed. Then it's a bus to my old work as my friend lives just around the corner. Fingers crossed by 3 I will be at old work.

E is having his knee surgery. He went in at 11.30, they said it would take an hour but he's still in theatre. Feeling really anxious :crazy:

He fell off his bike (again..) and damaged a ligament in his knee so they are repairing it.
My mind is catastrophising but trying to distract myself.

I could be wrong but maybe ligament damage can't be seen in perfect detail on scans and it's just a bit more damaged or complicated than they thought therefore taking longer?

You're probably right, I'm just not good with health stuff (getting a lot of horrible intrusive thoughts). I'm watching Bob's burgers and randomly looking at Halloween decorations to take my mind off it.

She went out for the first time in like 5 months yesterday. She's been shielding but kind of just went f*ck it and went to the supermarket.

Yeah she said she was quite anxious and it was hard getting used to where you're supposed to go because they still have the one way system there but she enjoyed getting out and doing something normal

It does take a bit of getting used to. it's all very surreal.

I was super anxious going back to the shops too. It took me quite a while to build up my confidence again.

It seems ok once you get used to it!
Though social distancing has gone out of the window since the masks became compulsory. They've removed the one way stickers in asda too

I've just had a shower and washed my hair in preparation for swimming tomorrow. Didn't want to go out with my seriously greasy horrible hair!
