True dat

Cpt_Stunning 14-02-2018 07:32 PM

Hopefully the UK will warm up soon. Can't come soon enough.

nonperson 14-02-2018 07:37 PM

This.

Cpt_Stunning 14-02-2018 07:44 PM

Shouldn't really wish time away, but this weather is annoying.

zombiehunter 14-02-2018 07:44 PM

my new tent arrived today, all I ned now is a cool adventure to use it on :-D

Cacoethes 14-02-2018 07:46 PM

I don't like it when it's too hot

I have a tent that I have never opened!
Was going to go to Cambridge folk fest the other year but ended up having to sell my ticket :(

Cpt_Stunning 14-02-2018 07:47 PM

That's really cool.

Pomegranate 14-02-2018 07:50 PM

Sounds cool. I’ve never been camping. Just had Chinese at work!

Cacoethes 14-02-2018 07:55 PM

Ooo what did you have?

Cpt_Stunning 14-02-2018 07:56 PM

I used to go camping on a place called Dartmoor, I enjoyed that.

Cacoethes 14-02-2018 07:57 PM

I've been to Dartmoor a few times

zombiehunter 14-02-2018 08:00 PM

I spend a lot of time up in the highlands and down in the borders

one_step_closer 14-02-2018 08:02 PM

The word Dartmoor gets confused with Broadmoor in my head.

nonperson 14-02-2018 08:05 PM

I get Dartmoor confused with Dartford... Couldn't get much different.

one_step_closer 14-02-2018 08:09 PM

Dartford to dart board! (That's what my head said).

zombiehunter 14-02-2018 08:09 PM

I got Dartmoor confused with dart board, beat that

one_step_closer 14-02-2018 08:09 PM

Haha, ninja!

nonperson 14-02-2018 08:10 PM

Haha. It's not a competition!

Cacoethes 14-02-2018 08:15 PM

Oh dear!

one_step_closer 14-02-2018 08:16 PM

Did anyone ever think that prima donna was actually pre madonna meaning before madonna? Surely I'm not the only one.

Cacoethes 14-02-2018 08:23 PM

That's random but no I never thought that!

one_step_closer 14-02-2018 08:24 PM

That was when I had only heard it spoken, not written down.

Pomegranate 14-02-2018 08:26 PM

I can honestly say no Lindsey :-p

nonperson 14-02-2018 08:28 PM

I can also say no, lol.

But I'm sure there are other similar examples... I can't think of any though!

Cacoethes 14-02-2018 08:29 PM

I used to think that because bees made honey, wasps made marmalade

zombiehunter 14-02-2018 08:30 PM

wasps make marmite, both are ****ing awful

Cacoethes 14-02-2018 08:31 PM

I love marmite!
I used to hate marmalade but i kind of like it now
Wouldn't buy it though

one_step_closer 14-02-2018 08:59 PM

I seriously thought my experience was common!

That's quite an interesting thought to have that wasps make marmalade.

Marmalade can be ok but I don't like marmite, although I don't really know if I can remember what it tastes like.

Cacoethes 14-02-2018 09:00 PM

I used to eat marmite out of the jar with a spoon when i was a kid

Sketchy 14-02-2018 09:01 PM

I like marmalade and marmite. Not together of course. :)

I still haven’t got my paper and charcoal out yet. Trying to heat up.

Cacoethes 14-02-2018 09:06 PM

It is rather cold!!
Probably worse where you are!

one_step_closer 14-02-2018 09:06 PM

Marmite is like a beefy paste thing, am I right? I may be thinking of Bovril. Is that different?

You'll need to have warm fingers before you can start your drawing Lorraine.

Sketchy 14-02-2018 09:08 PM

Bovril is different. Marmite is vegetarian.

I’ve got the fire on and a onesie on, so hopefully I’ll soon heat up.

one_step_closer 14-02-2018 09:09 PM

Have you got a proper coal fire Lorraine?

Sketchy 14-02-2018 09:11 PM

No, just a gas fire. I have central heating too, but I haven’t got it on.

one_step_closer 14-02-2018 09:12 PM

Oh right. Does that give off enough heat? I love central heating. :)

Sketchy 14-02-2018 09:15 PM

It does eventually get nice and toasty. I love my central heating too, but I’ve had it on way too much, so giving it a rest tonight.

Cacoethes 14-02-2018 09:20 PM

You're thinking of bovril Lindsay!

I've just been looking at holidays on secret escapes after seeing the advert.
There are actually awesome and cheap holidays available!
Still too expensive for me though :(

Sketchy 14-02-2018 09:22 PM

That’s a shame Beckie. I hope you soon get a holiday.

Cacoethes 14-02-2018 09:25 PM

Thanks
Could really do with a change of scenery!

Sketchy 14-02-2018 09:25 PM

Could you plan some day trips?

Cacoethes 14-02-2018 09:30 PM

Not really many places to go round here!
And train tickets are generally quite expensive
Maybe one day!

Sketchy 14-02-2018 09:38 PM

That’s a shame. You’ll get to go somewhere at some point.

Cacoethes 14-02-2018 09:42 PM

Hopefully one day!
I'll have to save up.

chinahorse 14-02-2018 09:49 PM

The last few pages have been an interesting read loll

Cacoethes 14-02-2018 09:54 PM

Haha!

nonperson 14-02-2018 10:33 PM

TV keeps reminding me it's valentine's day...

Cacoethes 14-02-2018 10:33 PM

Ugh!
What a load of rubbish!
