not_so_insig 20-02-2017 02:01 PM

I am now watching gladiators. The wind seems to be dying down.

Cacoethes 20-02-2017 02:08 PM

Hey guys!

Just at clozapine clinic waiting. The building has been all messed about because of refurbishment or something. Luckily I ran into one of the nurses and he told me where to go!

chinahorse 20-02-2017 02:58 PM

You think they'd have put up signs or something beckie but glad you found your way.

not_so_insig 20-02-2017 02:59 PM

I am being bothered by Domestic and General. A year ago I bought a new tumble dryer (after discovering that my previous one was faulty) & they have sent me a few letters asking if I want to purchase insurance. I don't so I have ignored them. For the past few weeks I have had them ring every weekday. At first I thought it was something to do with my washing machine insurance but it's with a different company and even then they have never done any unsolicited calls. It's enough to put me off Domestic and General.

chinahorse 20-02-2017 03:09 PM

Maybe they would go away if you answered one of the calls and told them you weren't interested?

not_so_insig 20-02-2017 04:22 PM

Maybe. Trouble is that I have a call blocking phone and basically if you aren't in the contacts it asks you to announce yourself. They don't always announce themselves so it don't always ring. Today they rang before whilst I was having my lunch and by the time I had put the plate down, shooed one of my cats away from eating it and walked to the phone it stopped ringing.

Cacoethes 20-02-2017 04:47 PM

They should have signs up. I don't know how anyone can find it on their own!

That sounds annoying Dawn. Could you call them yourself?

not_so_insig 20-02-2017 05:29 PM

I could but I would have to pay per minute Beckie (I only get free weekend calls) & it's a non geographic number so it will cost me more than phoning a local number. So if I do answer I want them to pay.

Cacoethes 20-02-2017 05:45 PM

What about email?

chinahorse 20-02-2017 05:47 PM

That's a good idea.

I'm starving but there's nothing to munch on in my mums house.

Cacoethes 20-02-2017 05:55 PM

That's not good Lillie! Could your mum get anything in soon?

I filled in a form at the GP surgery to refer myself to the stop smoking service. Hopefully something will come through soon!

not_so_insig 20-02-2017 05:58 PM

Having looked on their website I found 2 0800 numbers. I will give them a call on Thursday (I am out tomorrow and Wednesday) & tell them to stop bothering me. What annoys me is that Indesit have passed on the number (I rarely give out my phone number - not even the bank have it) without my permission. I got a call blocking phone for this exact reason - only people who I choose to give the number have it. The cmht know to announce themselves and my friends bar one text me (the one that doesn't rarely calls me as she doesn't have a mobile). The same goes for my relatives. If I am feeling no good I stop answering the phone and all forms of communication bar text anyway.

chinahorse 20-02-2017 06:14 PM

Dinner is cooking so hopefully that will be filling.

That's a great step beckie! I reckon they will be more than pleased to help you out and if not you can call and ask to speak to the nurse.

Cacoethes 20-02-2017 06:22 PM

What are you having for dinner Lillie?

Ive been getting texts from the Gp surgery for ages saying I'm eligible for the stop smoking thing so I definitely will get the help (I think!) I just hope it's soon.
And my gp has been nagging me about it as well! And my mum. And my friends who have recently given up themselves!

chinahorse 20-02-2017 06:27 PM

Dunno some sort of tapas ****. I just want to be at home in charge of my own food and things.

Sounds like all the nagging paid off then.

Cacoethes 20-02-2017 06:36 PM

Hope it's ok! When do you go home?

Yep it did! Eventually! Lol

chinahorse 20-02-2017 06:39 PM

I'm off to the hospital tomorrow and then hopefully home afterwards. Well I will even if my dad disagrees.

Lol better late than never.

Cacoethes 20-02-2017 06:43 PM

I hope it goes ok tomorrow.

Yep! Will be good for my health too. I pretty much have a constant chesty cough and too many chest infections in the last year!

chinahorse 20-02-2017 07:44 PM

Eek sounds like you definitely need to stop.

I tried asparagus for the first time tonight. Doesn't taste of anything.

not_so_insig 20-02-2017 08:00 PM

Domestic and General phoned me again. I actually spoke to them. It was related to my tumble dryer. Explained very politely that I wasn't interested in the insurance. Hopefully that will stop the calls.

Cacoethes 20-02-2017 08:24 PM

I really do Lillie!

I like asparagus. It doesn't really taste of anything though, you're right!

Glad you spoke to them dawn.

What's everyone up to tonight?

chinahorse 20-02-2017 08:26 PM

Hopefully that'll have done the trick dawn.

I'm watching tele again. Kinda all I can do rn. Fun times.

What're you up to?

Sketchy 20-02-2017 08:33 PM

Evening all.

MunchBox 20-02-2017 08:34 PM

Well done for the making the decision to stop, Beckie.
If only I could be that brave.

chinahorse 20-02-2017 08:42 PM

Evening guys :) hope you're both doing ok.

Sketchy 20-02-2017 08:49 PM

Thanks Lillie. I'm a bit fuzzy headed. Don't know why.

Cacoethes 20-02-2017 09:07 PM

Thanks Mary! I didn't think I'd ever even consider stopping but here I am! There is hope for you too!

Fuzzy headedness is unpleasant Lorraine. Hope it goes away soon!

not_so_insig 20-02-2017 09:07 PM

Hi there!

Sketchy 20-02-2017 09:11 PM

Thanks Beckie.

Hi Dawn.

chinahorse 20-02-2017 09:16 PM

Oh no that's rubbish lorraine. *squish*

Sketchy 20-02-2017 09:19 PM

Thanks Lillie.

What is everyone up to? Anyone doing anything exciting? I'm lazy and lying in bed. I might get up and watch some tv.

chinahorse 20-02-2017 09:22 PM

That may help lorraine.

I'm doing some sort of self torture watching skme awful program about trains with my mum and her partner.

Sketchy 20-02-2017 09:27 PM

That doesn't sound fun.

Cacoethes 20-02-2017 09:33 PM

That doesn't sound fun at all Lillie :/
Trains aren't the most interesting of things.

chinahorse 20-02-2017 09:33 PM

No its very odd but hey ho. Trying to be sociable and all that.

Sketchy 20-02-2017 09:36 PM

Hopefully the train program doesn't last too long and you get to watch something better.

chinahorse 20-02-2017 09:37 PM

Foot ball :'(

Cacoethes 20-02-2017 09:39 PM

Oh no! :(
That's not better. :/

Sketchy 20-02-2017 09:39 PM

Steal the remote control.

chinahorse 20-02-2017 09:40 PM

I think I may have to relocate to the other room again at this rate.

Cacoethes 20-02-2017 09:43 PM

It may be necessary, for your sanity.

chinahorse 20-02-2017 09:47 PM

We are back on corrie now. Not even sure what was better at this point.

chinahorse 20-02-2017 09:56 PM

Oh god back to the railways.

Cacoethes 20-02-2017 10:13 PM

Could you go and watch something else on your phone/ computer or something?

not_so_insig 20-02-2017 10:44 PM

I like trains. I have a HP train set. My parents live about 9 miles from a heritage railway line.

chinahorse 20-02-2017 11:20 PM

I'm now hiding in bed as I have to be up at 6.45.

Each to their own dawn!

Moonlight Princess 20-02-2017 11:26 PM

Tbh I also like trains Dawn!

I think they represent freedom to me!

Hi Lillie!

chinahorse 20-02-2017 11:27 PM

But there's liking trains and watching 2 hours worth of a show on them :/

Hi love you ok?

Moonlight Princess 20-02-2017 11:36 PM

Yes I do agree that trains aren't the best place for watching stuff!

What were you trying to watch?

I'm good thanks, done absolutely nothing today but have given up and am going to embrace it.

How are both?

chinahorse 20-02-2017 11:38 PM

I think we have Rosset wires. The show was about trains lol

I'm in pain. Sucks to be me. And I should be sleeping but arent
