Evening all.

I have kinda have a TV signal now. No bbc 1 or itv 1 or Welsh channels but I was able to watch Challenge before. Nothing much to report except I have washed and dried my hair before too. I might wrap some Christmas presents tonight. Evri came before unexpectedly and I am off to have a coffee.

I decided to try and eat something more substantial than I have been and browsed Just Eat and found this mad thing that is naan bread (I chose peshwari) with chicken curry and melted cheese. Very good but way too much.

Strangely enough I have bbc 2 but not bbc 1. I have itv now thankfully but not itv Wales. So fingers crossed I will be able to watch the final of I am a celebrity. But most things are on iplayer so I will have to stream the Strictly results.

Hello all. I have no plans for today. My Christmas present to myself arrived today but I haven't opened it. I have no idea what it is as I left it to the owner of the company to choose for me and i deliberately asked for no preview pictures. So it's a complete surprise!

Thanks for telling me that your Christmas card arrived safely Lindsay. Yours went in a new postbox so I wasn't sure about it. If anyone else on this thread wants a card lmk as Lindsay is the only one whose address I have. UK only I am afraid as the last dates for overseas has passed.

Nope Lindsay. I have reported it to the council but if it's like last time it will take over a week for them to come out. I have found a way to get bbc 1 Wales but I have no teletext or other Welsh channels. I can't record bbc 1 either. Worried that I will miss Olympia (big horse show) on the telly which is the highlight of my year.

I hope you get to watch olympia insig.

I'm trying to be ok. Got colouring group today so that's good. We're wearing Christmas jumpers today. Mine is a penguin dressed up as Rudolph and then there's a picture of the penguin flashing his bum and it says rude-olph. I've also got a melting snowman one that says I'm having a meltdown. Wondering if my med change will be sorted at the chemist today. Really want to get started now.

I am coping quite well tamobhuuta. I realised I don't watch that much bbc and everything I want to watch is on iplayer anyway. The bbc is terrible during the day anyway as its mostly repeats. Or Antiques programmes atm.

Teletext?? I thought that was phased out years ago!! Count Binface’s manifesto requests its reintroduction!

Well it's the text based information service that most tv have these days. You can access it via pressing the red button on any bbc channel. That's what I mean by teletext Jenna. Though some modern tvs and boxes don't have that facility any more.

I am old enough to remember itv first version called Oracle.

Amazon have arrived. Most things are presents and the only thing that's for me is a dvd set and some Tassimo machine pods. So at least I don't have to worry about amazon coming when i have my cpn.

L did all my other wrapping, because I am AWFUL at wrapping!
But obviously couldn't get her to wrap her presents!

Had cpn. Talked a lot today.

Now I am watching Santa Claus the movie whilst wrapping presents.

Wrapped my presents for Lorraine and wrote her cards. Now just gotta weigh it and buy the postage online. Will have postman collect it so I don't have to take it to the post office. Plus it's cheaper buying the postage online than at the post office.
