I'm impressed :) I've done work experience and charity work dealing with customers and I couldn't hack it.
|
Thanks! :)
It's not for everyone! |
I find dealing with the public very tiring! I'm lucky that I'm mostly hidden away from where the public are =P
|
Haha!
If we need to get away from the public we hide in the glass wash :p |
I can hear them but not see them a lot of the time though. Sometimes that's worse o.O
|
I think that would freak me out a bit!
|
It's kinda normal really. It's not like they sneak up on anyone, we know where to expect them. Sometimes it's fun to appear out of nowhere though and freak them out =P
|
Haha! That sounds like something I'd do :p
|
I quite enjoy making people jump when I burst through a a certain door. They're all peacefully walking around and then BOOM there I am. They probably shock me as much as I shock them tbh!
Hope your shift is nice and quiet tonight. |
Haha!
Sounds like fun! Thanks. The car park doesn't seem too bad. I've still got 10 mins to my shift so just sitting outside |
I don't want to work tomorrow... *whine* =(
|
I hope your shift goes well Beckie.
Poor you NP, are you working the whole week? |
Yep, back to five days a week. And I think I'm working the weekend too so no easing in gently for me!
|
Morning everyone
|
Morning :) you're up early. How are you?
|
Yeah. Happens occasionally!
I'm okish. Don't know when crisis are coming. I called them and they didn't know either :eyeroll: How are you? |
That's frustrating. I hope they come at a convenient time.
I am ok. My godmother is going to call me at about 2pm. I'm relieved I didn't need PRN yesterday, I was worried I was addicted! |
They just called!
They wanted to come at the same time as church people. But she's gonna come earlier. I hope you have a nice chat with your godmother! That's great! Well done! |
Cool. I hope all the people are helpful.
|
Thank you :)
I'm just stressing out because the appointments are so close! Hate it when that happens |
I hope it's less stressful than you expect.
|
Thanks :)
Was going to go out today but now can't be bothered lol |
Where were you going to go?
|
Just the pharmacy.
But I'll go tomorrow |
Fair enough.
|
How's your day going?
|
Tamobhuuta did you know that Doctors returns next week?
Beckie a new series of 999 what's your emergency starts next Monday. 9 pm channel 4. I know that both of you like those programmes. |
Oooh yay!
Thanks Dawn! How are you? |
I am not so good mh wise but I am getting better slowly. Thanks for asking though.
|
Sorry to hear that
I hope you feel better soon |
Thanks Beckie
|
Thanks insig! Sending hugs.
My day is OK, had the phone call with my godmother which was nice. |
That's good tamo :)
I got an email from work HR. We're all getting a £20 bonus because our pub beat our sales targets :) |
Well done :)
|
Thanks!
We all work very hard! |
*waves*
Hi all |
Hey Hazel
How are you? |
I hope the support you're getting today is helpful Beckie. Well done with working hard and getting the bonus!
How are you feeling now Dawn? I too like 999: What's You're Emergency. There's a new medical one on my 5 but I can't get into it. I'm glad you enjoyed speaking with your godmother Tamo. Hi Hazel, how are you? |
ok I think, had med review with a psychiatrist today and now have to somehow go over there next week for blood tests which not looking forward to. Feeling a bit restless now but unsure what to do
How are you? |
Thanks lindsay :)
How are you? That's a pain Hazel! Do you know what they're for? I'm...meh |
the blood tests? Ye apparently got to have them before changing to the new meds so they have a "base line" then they will take them now and again to make sure the meds aren't causing issues. WHat these potential issues are I do not know... currently googling
|
Ah yeah.
Fun times! I have medication related blood tests quite frequently. Thanks lithium! |
i've not been on any blood test needing meds for AGES so i had almost forgotten it was a thing
zero idea how I am going to get there as no car, no bus route, etc... but will figure that out later |
It's really annoying
But I guess I'm lucky I live a 10 minute walk away from the gp surgery! If I remember correctly, you are not near anything! |
been told I have to go the the CMHT building, and it has to be on a tuesday... said building is like 13 miles away on the other side of town
I'm going to have to get a lift off someone, but everyone I know works so it's going to be a whole thing... hopefully it only needs to be taken there for the first one, we'll see |
What a pain
Do they offer any kind of transport service? Or have a budget for taxis? When I've been in a&e until like 4am the mh team have paid for a taxi home Don't know if a cmht would do that |
not sure... not even sure how you go about getting a taxi in general
it's the only on a tuesday bit that's annoying, the partner finishes work early on a friday so a friday afternoon would have been perfect, but noooo they only do tuesdays :wow: regardless though at least the psych listened and didn't accuse me of faking or any of the other stuff my brain thought would happen He's also going to look into getting me some meds for my ADHD :hehe: I've been diagnosed ages but never been offered meds before |
That is annoying!
Cmhts are so inconvenient I'm glad he listened! It's always a bit of a lottery with mh people That's good! |
That sounds annoying with having trouble finding transport Hazel. I hope you can figure something out. I'm glad the psych listened and you might be getting things sorted.
I wish you felt better Beckie, please take care of yourself and use the support that you have even if you feel it's not needed. At least people are looking out for you. |
Thank you lindsay
It's not that I'm not grateful for the support, I just think their time would be better spent with actually ill people |
All times are GMT +1. The time now is 11:23 PM. |
