Cacoethes 09-12-2021 06:54 PM

Np!
It's been so quiet in here today. I've been so lonely!

How are you?

nonperson 09-12-2021 07:07 PM

Aw. Well I am here for your entertainment now!

I'm knackered. Had a mega busy day at work putting the Christmas display up... A surprisingly stressful task.

How're you?

Cacoethes 09-12-2021 07:30 PM

Yaaay!

Oof. That does sound exhausting!
Have you finished it or is there more to do?

The mystery illness has returned unfortunately!
But hopefully I can sleep reasonably and I'll be ok for work tomorrow!

nonperson 09-12-2021 07:56 PM

It's all finished but gonna have to see how it survives the weekend, there might be some tweaks needed on Monday.

Oh no. =( Lots of rest needed.

Cacoethes 09-12-2021 08:04 PM

Hopefully it will be ok!

Yep! Definitely!
It's highly annoying

nonperson 09-12-2021 08:55 PM

Illness is always annoying and inconvenient.

Cacoethes 09-12-2021 09:03 PM

Totally is!

So what have you got planned for the evening?

nonperson 09-12-2021 09:36 PM

Just TV and sleep. Nothing exciting. You?

I really want a shoulder massage... D=

Cacoethes 09-12-2021 09:41 PM

Same here!
I was going to wrap presents but cba

Oooh that would be nice!

not_so_insig 09-12-2021 10:16 PM

Hello all. I have been to my hearing voices group which is held at the cmht. Unfortunately someone decided to kick off whilst I was there which stressed me out. She was screaming and shouting.

I have been cleaning today when I got home.

Cacoethes 10-12-2021 09:28 AM

Morning everyone!

nonperson 10-12-2021 11:08 AM

Morning.

I've been for my flu jab and somehow escaped being lectured about not getting blood pressure checked or a blood test done or a diabetic foot check (yes they are still attached) and a smear test and and and...

Gonna head out to a real life high street shop for the first time in two years soon... Eek.

How're you Beckie? Feeling any better today?

Cacoethes 10-12-2021 11:14 AM

That's good!
But y'know, you should probably do those things!

Whhhy would you do that when online shops exist?!

I'm feeling a bit better thanks
I called the doctors and I have to actually go in to see them!

not_so_insig 10-12-2021 11:19 AM

I have had my flu jab. But my boiler isn't working properly as I have no hot water.

nonperson 10-12-2021 11:25 AM

Give it a kick, Dawn.

Yes I probably should do those things but they're mostly not vital. =|

I need some nice Christmas cards and wrapping paper and don't want to pay postage for things to arrive a bit beaten up. And a few other bits and pieces. Hoping it won't be too busy.

Good that you're feeling better but that is weird they want to see you. What can't they talk to you about over the phone o.O At least they're doing something though!

not_so_insig 10-12-2021 11:27 AM

I think I may have fixed the hot water situation.

Cacoethes 10-12-2021 11:28 AM

That's a good point!
I bought some wrapping paper in asda a couple of weeks ago. But they had no Christmas paper!

They did talk to me on the phone but also want to see me because he is concerned :ermm:
He also mentioned going to hospital...

nonperson 10-12-2021 11:59 AM

I want kraft paper but supermarkets don't seem to sell that.

Well hospital wouldn't be ideal but if it's needed to fix you up then it's not a bad thing.

Cacoethes 10-12-2021 12:08 PM

Have you got a b&m or home bargains near you? I think they're quite good at craft stuff?

I really need to go to work though!
And if I get through work without incident then I'm probably not ill enough for hospital

tamobhuuta 10-12-2021 12:20 PM

Hi everyone.

not_so_insig 10-12-2021 12:33 PM

I have received your card today Lindsay. Tyvm.

Cacoethes 10-12-2021 12:38 PM

Hi tamo!

The doctor is running late

tamobhuuta 10-12-2021 12:50 PM

That's frustrating. Ours are always running late.

Cacoethes 10-12-2021 01:12 PM

He was only 15 mins late which wasn't too bad

On way to work now!

one_step_closer 10-12-2021 01:19 PM

You're very welcome Dawn.

I hope everyones day goes ok.

I'm stuck in for my kitchen door being repaired within the next 6 hours.

not_so_insig 10-12-2021 01:30 PM

I know how frustrating it is waiting for tradesmen Lindsay I was like that on Wednesday when I was waiting for the boiler people. Fingers crossed that they come soon.

one_step_closer 10-12-2021 03:02 PM

Luckily they came just before 1pm but then had to go back to wherever they store parts etc because he didn't have the part he needed. It took him less than 5 minutes to sort it once he came back so that was good. Now I need to get Crookshanks back into knowing he's not allowed in the kitchen.

How is your day going Dawn?

nonperson 10-12-2021 03:29 PM

Glad he managed to sort it quickly for you, Lindsay. Is Crookshanks easy to train?

one_step_closer 10-12-2021 03:36 PM

No, he just tries to do things he's not allowed to do. I just need to keep my hand out while I'm opening the kitchen door to stop him coming in. While the door could only be closed but not shut he did wait outside when it was his food time like he had been conditioned not to come in and his food will come out.

How's things with you NP?

nonperson 10-12-2021 04:25 PM

Ah so maybe he does know the rules then. =)

I'm ok... Got a day off today. Dunno what to do with myself. =/

How're you?

one_step_closer 10-12-2021 06:14 PM

Those kind of days can be annoying. Have you found things to do yet?

I'm not feeling great mentally today.

nonperson 10-12-2021 06:25 PM

Just been googling a load of things really and watching the new Young Sheldon series.

I'm sorry things aren't good for you today =(

Cacoethes 10-12-2021 06:54 PM

Hey everyone!

nonperson 10-12-2021 08:49 PM

Evening.

How's everyone?

Cacoethes 10-12-2021 08:57 PM

Hello!

I'm ok thanks. You?

nonperson 10-12-2021 09:21 PM

I'm alright... Tired though and pondering more pesto pasta.

How was work today? What did the doctor say?

Cacoethes 10-12-2021 09:26 PM

Sounds like a plan!

Work was very busy but like not in a stressful way so it was fine!
Doctor was puzzled! Said it sounds a bit like vertigo but he's not sure. But if it gets bad again then come back and they'll try some meds.
It was so embarrassing though. He asked me to walk in a straight line and I couldn't do it!

nonperson 10-12-2021 09:39 PM

Ooh vertigo is rubbish. My mum gets that from time to time so I've heard all about the nausea.

Did you have to touch your nose and say the alphabet backwards too? >.>

Cacoethes 10-12-2021 09:43 PM

It is really rubbish!

I had to touch my nose and back to his finger a lot. I really struggled with that too!
Didn't have to say the alphabet backwards!
He did originally say go to hospital for a brain scan but I told him I've had both head CT and head MRI in the last few weeks so he said it's fine

nonperson 10-12-2021 09:47 PM

Hmm what a mystery.

Cacoethes 10-12-2021 09:50 PM

Indeed!
I really thought it was hypoglycaemia at first but its just carried on! Obviously not as bad as it was because I can now function but yeah

Cacoethes 11-12-2021 08:41 AM

Morning everyone :-D

nonperson 11-12-2021 10:36 AM

Moorning.

Cacoethes 11-12-2021 10:39 AM

Hellooo!

How are you?

nonperson 11-12-2021 11:06 AM

Alright, I suppose. You?

Cacoethes 11-12-2021 11:07 AM

I'm sooo bored already!

nonperson 11-12-2021 11:14 AM

Got nothing much to do today then? =/

Cacoethes 11-12-2021 11:23 AM

Nope! Just asda and pharmacy.
And I'll probably clean the house

Have you got anything planned?

nonperson 11-12-2021 11:40 AM

Nope, just dreaded food shop later... maybe. And general chores.

Cacoethes 11-12-2021 11:46 AM

Ugh!
Best to get it over and done with though!
