Hi Dawn, has the cold eased a bit today or still the same as last night? I think we're meant to get snow at some point this week but that could be a lie.

It's much warmer than last night Lindsay. It's great to see you posting. I have yet to venture outdoors but I should post my christmas card to Australia.

Posted my card to Australia. It's not too bad outside. Before anyone says it's too early to post Christmas cards Melbourne Airport is experiencing delays due to covid according to Royal Mail's website. Unfortunately the recipient lives in a suburb of Melbourne hence why I am posting it early.

Ooh my present to Lorraine has been despatched. I hope she likes it. It's a model of Molly. Entirely hand made.

I was feeling ok until earlier when I collapsed in the bathroom. And then work messaged to tell me I need a GP note to say I'm fit for work before I'm allowed back. So stressed

I've managed to get a prescription for my insulin, just need to find somewhere who has some in stock now... Will have to ring around some pharmacies tomorrow. But I was so shocked that the GP had a script ready for me to collect that I completely forgot to book a flu jab at the same time.

Yep. They've just checked my blood pressure too and it's high. 155/96

Thanks. I'm kinda proud of myself. Went to the chemist, talked the old lady behind the desk who didn't have a clue what I was talking about and then walked off...! Spoke to the pharmacist briefly but they hadn't made any progress. I was going to go home but decided to drop by the doctors, see if they had a script for me and they did! So I think that's enough for today. Phone calls tomorrow will be harder...

They didn't even mention it was high!

I'm going to the gym group today and I'm quite worried because of my drowsiness. Have an appointment with my psychiatrist after the gym and I'm kind of anxious about it.

Looks like im going to have to stay another night so I am annoyed.
Asked my mum if she could bring in some clothes for me because I feel gross.
So if she can I'm looking forward to a lovely shower and clothes change!

Afternoon all. I am waiting for the tesco man. I am flipping freezing.

The tesco man forgot a tray of mine! Unfortunately it was mostly cat food. Cue me phoning customer service. He returned 10 minutes after the end of the phone call with my cat food. So my kitties should be ok for a while.

My mum and sister just came to drop off some PJs and shower stuff.
Was nice to see them!

I'm glad you got to see your mum and sister and that they brought you some PJs and shower stuff. I hope you have a nice shower. Are the showers there ok. In the psych ward I go to the showers are mostly cold then lukewarm then back to cold. But we complained and it was fixed at that point. I felt like crying when I needed a shower because I didn't want it to be cold.

That's a bit annoying Dawn. I'm glad you got the cats stuff in the end.

Psych ward showers are the absolute worst!
The shower here is small but quite nice!
Decent flow and adjustable temperature
And it doesn't flood everywhere like psych ward showers tend to

But then I fell.
And had to have a surprise MRI scan which I have just got back from.
Now waiting for the results

Bit fuzzy headed but ok.
Good news! MRI is normal and I am now awaiting the bus home!
I've only been in 5 days but it feels odd being back in the real world!
