A Long Way Down was a good book, I like the dry humor that Nick Hornby has!

I really like that, but the the nearer it got to the end the more baffled I was about her brother - be interesting to know what you think!

I'm now reading - Look at Me by Jennifer Egan.

I just finished reading "Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes". It was actually a very enjoyable read, and I'm glad that its more then just an "Issues in High-school" kind of book.

I'm quite puzzled too. Would have been nice to have a clear explanation about what was happening with him.

Now reading Ju-On - Kei Ohishi.

To anybody that has read 'The Help' by Kathryn Stockett - is it as good as the film adaptation? Would you recommend it?

Currently on with LOTR: The Two Towers, Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix (again) and Have You Seen Her -Karen Rose (again).

Yes! The book is quite good, perhaps a bit better than the movie. I was really pleased with how the movie turned out, though. Both are worth the time.

I am reading 'Crying For Help' by Casey Watson.
It's pretty good. My house mate lent it to me. They also lent me 'Sing You Home' by Jodie Picoult which is my next book to read.

Just began 'Starter for ten' by David Nicholls because i enjoyed 'one Day'. So far it's alright.

Oh and I always have a Harry potter book on the go just because...it's Harry Potter.

I'm currently reading the 'True Blood' series by Charlaine Harris.. Not too sure what I make of it at the minute.

I started reading Rascal by Sterling North today and will probably finish that in the morning. So far I have enjoyed it.

I have some old pony books by Jean Slaughter Doty, Josephine Pullein-Thompson and Ruby Ferguson ordered and they should arrive in the mail soon. Continuing on the theme of children's literature, I'm making my way through Laura Ingalls Wilder's books. I've read bits and pieces and adaptations over the years but I had only read the first two in their entirety. I just finished Farmer Boy so whenever I can get to the library I'll pick up the rest.
