I gave this 3 stars (liked it) but it was more like 2.5 stars.

Space opera???

I'm now reading The Husband - Dean Koontz.

one_step_closer 09-05-2019 10:34 AM

I'm confused about how a space opera in a book works.

one_step_closer 09-05-2019 04:18 PM

Interesting. I have never heard of space opera before. Might put your two favourites on my to read list.

Books

I have been reading Shadowhunters recently. But I've read Twilight, The Bane Chronicles, The Vampire Diaries, Harry Potter, and others I just forgot which ones.

I am reading The Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes. I love his observations and deductions. I find if I start a regular book with a story all the way through, I get too engrossed and my family suffers. So, I'm reading a few books right now. I like essays and short stories. I Was told There Would be Cake -the name of the author escapes me. And anything by David Sedaris is hilarious. Another good book by people who can put them down for...life and stuff is This Time by Jennifer Cruise. Loved it!
