Enjoy your tree hill.

Cacoethes 08-11-2016 09:51 PM

OOoo hot chocolate and marshmallows! yum!
Very jealous!

Enjoy your book Lorraine, whatever you decide to read!

not_so_insig 08-11-2016 10:07 PM

I am going to buy a book if I get to 5 years 6 months free. The one I have my eye on is available as a ebook atm but according to the author it's coming out as a physical book in December. I have lots of ebooks but I have only read 2 (to be fair I had them all for free). I prefer a physical book.

Cacoethes 08-11-2016 10:25 PM

I used to read loads. I just don't have the concentration anymore. It's sad because I really miss getting lost in a different world while reading a good book.
Maybe I'll try again at some point.

I prefer physical books too.

Rodolphus 08-11-2016 11:19 PM

How has everyone's days gone?

I'm currently watching Law and Order SVU in my koala onesie and debating with myself as to wether I can be bother to crack on with any of my coursework. The negative arguement is currently winning tbh.

not_so_insig 08-11-2016 11:40 PM

I am the same Beckie. I used to have a book related blog but I haven't updated it for years. I keep on meaning to get back to it but I don't seem to have the concentration to do it anymore. I don't even have the concentration to read a magazine. The only time I seem to read is when I am IP.

Cacoethes 08-11-2016 11:46 PM

Hi Marie! love law and order svu. Very good choice!
Maybe you could do a bit of coursework in between episodes? I know how hard it is to get going with it.

I used to read a lot in IP too. Tbf, I haven't actually tried to read in a while, apart from little bits of reading for college.

Rodolphus 09-11-2016 12:12 AM

Hi *waves*
I find Olivia Benson one of the most comforting people.
I've had a look and made some notes, I'm very tired so will write it up tomorrow. At least I had a look haha.

I love reading and wish I had more mental energy to read more! Though I bought 3 books in a charity shop the other day so may attempt one of those this week. There's some charity shops where I live that do 3 paperbacks for 1. Bargain :)

Invigilators don't know the answers or even have access to them (probably for that exact reason :P)

God I hate snow! I can see it heading our way though, it's so bitter outside.

I love putting marshmallows in mine, wait for them to melt a bit and scoop them out with a spoon. Omnomnom!

Morning all, how is everyone?

Rodolphus 09-11-2016 12:40 PM

Hey Luna.

That's my favourite part of hot chocolate also!

How are you?

Cacoethes 09-11-2016 01:01 PM

Morning guys!

I had a weird dream about harry potter, a dog grooming van, baby sloths and condoms.
I can't remember exactly how they fitted together.

Voldemort 10-11-2016 08:26 PM

I've been having odd dreams too but I can't really remember any of them.

Cacoethes 10-11-2016 08:45 PM

I can't usually remember mine. Sometimes just little snippets.

How are you this evening?

Voldemort 10-11-2016 08:48 PM

I'm angry and lonely and sad. Woe is meeeee.

How are you?

Cacoethes 10-11-2016 09:08 PM

Oh no :(
Look at some pictures of kittens and/or puppies. Or just some funny videos on YouTube.
Funny videos on YouTube always helps me

I'm good thanks. Just finished watching Monsters University and now watching big bang theory and boiling a couple of eggs!

Voldemort 10-11-2016 09:18 PM

Sounds like a good evening.

I'm just watching One Tree Hill. Or trying to at least.

Cacoethes 10-11-2016 09:27 PM

Yep. And I can stay up late tonight because I don't have to get up for anything tomorrow :)

Concentration not great?

Voldemort 10-11-2016 09:32 PM

Ah, I'm jealous! I desperately need a lie in. =P

Yeah my concentration sucks.

Cacoethes 10-11-2016 09:39 PM

Lie ins are great! Especially as it's so cold. My alarm went off this morning for college and I was just like 'nooo I'm so snuggly and warm!'

Hate it when that happens. Is one tree hill one of those programmes where you really have to focus on what's happening?

Voldemort 10-11-2016 09:44 PM

Lie ins are the best. Especially in winter, aye!

I don't need to pay a huge amount of attention, so that's something at least.

Cacoethes 10-11-2016 09:52 PM

Yep they are!

That's good. It's just frustrating trying to pay a load of attention to be able to watch a programme. I wacched the latest series of black mirror the other day and I found I had to pay quite a bit of attention to that.

Voldemort 10-11-2016 10:01 PM

Yeah, even when the programmes are brilliant, if your attention isn't there it's a nightmare.

Cacoethes 10-11-2016 10:07 PM

Exactly. That's the main reason I stopped watching orphan black. I got really into it and then suddenly no concentration and I don't know wtf is going on anymore!

Voldemort 10-11-2016 10:10 PM

Ritzi and I were watching Mr Robot and it's brilliant but I just can't concentrate on it so the episodes have piled up.

Cacoethes 10-11-2016 10:32 PM

Haven't heard of Mr robot. What's it about?

Voldemort 10-11-2016 10:45 PM

It's about a hacker. It's really good.

Nymphadora Tonks 10-11-2016 10:46 PM

Love Orphan Black, I still have a couple of episodes of season 4 to watch. Mr Robot is amazing! I starting watching it this summer. What episode are you on?

I tend to be able to watch things in 10 minute snippets, makes watching a season take an age!!

Voldemort 10-11-2016 11:41 PM

Yeah that's about all I manage but Ritzi always insists on the whole episode!

I just had a really funny turn. My bp dropped to 89/52 and I thought I was going to pass out. Scary.

[Luna] 11-11-2016 10:15 AM

That's not good. I hope you're feeling better today!

Morning all. I need to get ready to go see the nurse but I really can't be bothered to get up.

Voldemort 11-11-2016 12:24 PM

I am feeling better thanks. It was just a weird turn.

I hope you made it to your appt ok.

Cacoethes 11-11-2016 01:42 PM

Afternoon guys. Only just got up!

Glad you're feeling bette

Good luck with the nurse!

I'm watching an episode of The Bill. And have to go to the shop but effort.

Voldemort 11-11-2016 04:06 PM

Omg. The bill is still on tv?? Mad! Did you make it to the shop yet?

Cacoethes 11-11-2016 04:18 PM

They show 2 episodes every morning on Drama!
I used to live the bill as a kid. Although I had to watch it sneakily because my mum didn't want me watching it!

Yep, just got back from the shop. Now I'm watching Wall E!
How's your day going?

Voldemort 11-11-2016 05:37 PM

I watched it as a kid too. God. I feel old now.

I've just made some scones in OT. They smell pretty good.

Cacoethes 11-11-2016 05:59 PM

Me too. You can tell it's an old programme just by watching it! And the fact that it's on Drama along with shows like last of the summer wine...

Yum! Savoury scones or sweet?

Voldemort 11-11-2016 06:07 PM

Why do I have to be olddd?

Uh. There's a little sugar in them so they're sweet I think? I didn't try them.

Cacoethes 11-11-2016 06:10 PM

I know the feeling. I was watching E4 and they said 'if you're old enough to remember sabrina the teenage witch then you're probably too old to watch Melissa and Joey'
I was like, excuse me?!?!?

Nice! I love scones. Do you pronounce it scOnes or scones?

Serendipity. 11-11-2016 06:26 PM

What nonsense E4 are talking! Sabrina was my favourite programme! And I enjoy Melissa and Joey. And clearly I am super grown up and mature :P I actually really want to re-watch all the series of Sabrina now!

Also. Amy, send me scones?

tiptoes 11-11-2016 06:36 PM

I guess remembering Clarissa Explains it all makes me way to old to watch Melissa and Joey by that logic!!

Serendipity. 11-11-2016 06:37 PM

I don't even know what that is Sarah. You must be super old :P

Voldemort 11-11-2016 06:38 PM

Ahh. Clarissa explains it all was awesome!!

I say scOnes. I are posh. I'll send some to you Hannah. Actually I can't. The other patients at them all.

Serendipity. 11-11-2016 06:39 PM

How rude. How dare they not save some for me?!

It's scones. With a short o. Obviously.

tiptoes 11-11-2016 06:39 PM

It was the Nickelodeon show Melissa Joan Heart was in before Sabrina, it ran from 91-94 so that might show my age!

Serendipity. 11-11-2016 06:40 PM

You are old :P I am too young to really remember those years!

Voldemort 11-11-2016 06:43 PM

I think it played a few years after that in England? Because I remember it and would only have been about 5 when it stopped airing according to that.

And it's scOnes!!

tiptoes 11-11-2016 06:45 PM

Probably, I got the dates from wikipedia rather than memory. It was probably mid-90's that I watched it.

Serendipity. 11-11-2016 06:50 PM

Scones. Definitely scones.

But is it jam first or cream first???

Voldemort 11-11-2016 06:51 PM

Neither! Warm with butter.

Cacoethes 11-11-2016 06:52 PM

I know of clarissa explains it all but I don't think I ever watched it.

It's definitely scones with short O!
And I put the cream first, then the jam. I find it so much easier to spread jam on cream than cream on jam!

Serendipity. 11-11-2016 06:54 PM

Heathens! That is wrong Beckie, all wrong!
