tamobhuuta 04-11-2019 06:30 PM

I am so tired! I've only done 2 things today but it feels like a dozen.

chinahorse 04-11-2019 06:34 PM

Some days are like that tamo.

An electrician was meant to come and fit a plug socket behind the washing machine today. Either they've come and done it and put the washing machine back without plugging it in. Or they've not been.

tamobhuuta 04-11-2019 06:36 PM

Ah that is a pain. Can you call them in the morning to check?

Cacoethes 04-11-2019 06:49 PM

That's impressive Lillie!
My mum always took care of the fires
She can somehow stick her hand in and move logs around without getting burned. It is odd.

Hopefully you can chill now tamo

Thats annoying Lillie

Nomnomnom good biscuits.

nonperson 04-11-2019 07:17 PM

Not my first choice of biscuit but if they're there and there's nothing else then they are very nom!

one_step_closer 04-11-2019 07:22 PM

What is your first choice of biscuit?

nonperson 04-11-2019 07:23 PM

Dark chocolate Hobnobs. <3

chinahorse 04-11-2019 07:27 PM

Ew not dark chocolate!!

one_step_closer 04-11-2019 07:37 PM

Dark chocolate on biscuits is ok, not so much on its own.

tamobhuuta 04-11-2019 09:13 PM

Dark chocolate is nice, especially on digestives. M&S do chocolate sandwich fingers, they might be best.

Cacoethes 04-11-2019 09:42 PM

All chocolate is good!

chinahorse 05-11-2019 10:30 AM

Morning guys :-)

Cacoethes 05-11-2019 10:57 AM

Morning Lillie
How are you?

chinahorse 05-11-2019 11:10 AM

Cold, unwell and procrastinating getting on with the day. But kitty is asleep on my lap. Will have to bathroom soon though, need the loo! And I should do some shower acrobatics.

How're you?

Cacoethes 05-11-2019 11:29 AM

Sorry to hear that
Moving a sleeping kitty is so difficult!

I'm ok
Ward round soon (if they are running on time which they never are)

not_so_insig 05-11-2019 11:43 AM

My washing machine is poorly:-( Looks like I will have to phone the washing machine people to come and fix it which sucks because I hate phone calls.

tamobhuuta 05-11-2019 11:58 AM

Morning all x

one_step_closer 05-11-2019 12:03 PM

Morning everyone.

I hope you feel better soon Lillie.

Hope ward round goes/has gone ok Beckie.

Good luck with the phone call Dawn.

How are you Tamo?

tamobhuuta 05-11-2019 12:21 PM

I'm ok, didn't get up till 11am. How are you?

Cacoethes 05-11-2019 01:06 PM

Ward round was actually ok.
I have some escorted leave and I'm off 1-1!

not_so_insig 05-11-2019 01:25 PM

Yay Beckie!

The washing machine engineer is coming out a week today. Let's hope that I dont run out of clean clothes!

chinahorse 05-11-2019 01:44 PM

You don't have more than a weeks worth of clothes dawn?!

Good news beckie.

Good sleep tamo?

How're you lindsay?

I've been to town and done some jobs. Which was odd cos royalty is coming so all the roads are closed and there's more police than the town has ever seen. And I've thoroughly cleaned the whole house as much as one can with the arm situation. I have a house insection tomorrow and it hasn't been done in ages anyeay.

one_step_closer 05-11-2019 01:56 PM

That's great Beckie!

Well done Lillie. Are you sure it's not the royal person who is coming to do your inspection?

Your washing is going to pile up Dawn! Is there no one else who can do it for you?

I'm ???

chinahorse 05-11-2019 02:00 PM

Haha my inspection is tomorrow so I think I'm safe.

Hugs and blankets and milk chocolate digestives for lindsay.

one_step_closer 05-11-2019 02:13 PM

I hope you've got the place clean enough for royalty just in case! Do you have any plans for the rest of your day?

Milk chocolate digestives sound good :-) I only have nuts.

chinahorse 05-11-2019 02:18 PM

Hehe it's clean. That'll have to do with my dodgey arm. I plan to do some crochet and cook dinner. Think I've done enough today to deserve the rest my body is screaming for.

Nuts can be good depending what kind.

nonperson 05-11-2019 02:23 PM

Chocolate covered Brazil nuts are great.

chinahorse 05-11-2019 02:25 PM

Nahhhh it's all about honey roast peanuts and cashews.

nonperson 05-11-2019 02:30 PM

Chocolate covered cashews are very nice too. =)

one_step_closer 05-11-2019 02:30 PM

It's just those Graze punchy protein nuts.

Chocolate peanuts all the way!

nonperson 05-11-2019 02:36 PM

I'm not a massive fan of peanuts. I like Graze stuff.

I'm waiting for occupational health to ring me so I can have an assessment over the phone... =/

chinahorse 05-11-2019 02:38 PM

Graze stuff is nice but stupidly expensive.

Will they call soon np?

one_step_closer 05-11-2019 02:39 PM

I got these ones cheaper than usual.

I hope your assessment goes ok NP.

tamobhuuta 05-11-2019 02:49 PM

I agree with china, honey roast cashews are great.

nonperson 05-11-2019 02:50 PM

Theyre calling at 2.

Yeah I got some nice sort of brownie square things from graze when they were on offer a few weeks ago. I think they were peanut and chocolate.

tamobhuuta 05-11-2019 03:12 PM

I don't like peanuts but I love peanut butter.

nonperson 05-11-2019 03:35 PM

I used to hate peanut butter but am secretly kind of fond of it now. Got to be smooth not chunky though.

Occupational health have told me to avoid pretty much everything that my job entails... =/

tamobhuuta 05-11-2019 03:39 PM

Oh dear np, did you tell them that?

tamobhuuta 05-11-2019 03:41 PM

I'm waiting for my godmother in the kitchen and every time the wind makes the gate creak I think it's her.

nonperson 05-11-2019 03:42 PM

Yeah I did sort of, maybe not as bluntly as that though. They're just being cautious and making me avoid anything that might make my shoulder worse.

nonperson 05-11-2019 03:42 PM

Aw, hope she arrives soon.

tamobhuuta 05-11-2019 03:44 PM

Did they say how long for?

nonperson 05-11-2019 03:48 PM

2 to 3 months!

tamobhuuta 05-11-2019 03:56 PM

That's not good. Are there any benefits you can claim in the meantime?

Cacoethes 05-11-2019 04:02 PM

That’s not good np

Ive just watched the greatest showman on my iPad and now watching futurama

nonperson 05-11-2019 04:04 PM

I'll still be working, just not sure what I'll actually be doing. Or I'll just have to ask for help with every single thing.

Ooh Futurama is awesome.

Cacoethes 05-11-2019 04:10 PM

Hopefully you'll be able to find something to do!

Yes it is! Haven't watched it in ages

nonperson 05-11-2019 04:11 PM

Yeah, something that doesn't involve moving at all? Hm.

I haven't watched it for ages either. I aspire to be more like Bender!
