=(

That's making me sad. Can you use your tv for anything?

nonperson 12-10-2023 09:11 PM

Ahh! Thanks Jen. Gonna watch now =D

Someone film it for me??? XD

Do you still have Disney Plus?

Because everywhere but the UK it will be on Disney Plus and VPNS exist...

nonperson 12-10-2023 09:15 PM

OMG that looks absolutely incredible!

That trailer might be the second best thing that has happened to me today XD

I love Donna, I think she's actually my favourite assistant. David Tennant looks so old though...

I know right! Production value is throught the roof. And Russel T Davies is back!

What was the best thing? It's definitely my best thing but then I am having a bad asthma day (had to call 999 again around 4:30pm. Although thankfully got left at home doing my nighttime neb now in the home I can got to bed by 10:30pm.)

David Tennant / Donna series is my favourite combination of Doctor and Companion. The years have been kinder to Catherine Tate for sure!

nonperson 12-10-2023 09:31 PM

I'm so shocked that I did not know about this before today?! Russell T was the pinnacle of the new Doctor Who era.

Ah the best thing was probably some interactions with someone at work which could arguably also be the worse thing so maybe I should bump Dr Who to the top. Doctor Who should be exciting whatever bad things might have happened. I'm glad it's been a highlight of your day though. Always good to have something, no matter how seemingly small, to brighten your day. And November isn't too far away.

I do love the Rose era but Donna's story was so good and yet sad from start to finish. I'm sure David Tennant's age won't matter once I watch it.

Cacoethes 13-10-2023 09:00 AM

Morning everyone!

tamobhuuta 13-10-2023 09:17 AM

Morning Cacoethes how are you?

Cacoethes 13-10-2023 09:22 AM

I'm ok thanks
You?

tamobhuuta 13-10-2023 09:29 AM

Yeah I'm ok. I'm hoping Dad will bring some hair removal cream this morning. I can only be bothered to do my underarms but that would be such a relief. I've checked with the nurse yesterday and it's ok. On a previous admission I wasn't allowed it. Do you have anything exciting on?

Cacoethes 13-10-2023 09:34 AM

That would be good
Hate not being able to shave in hospital!

Getting a piercing in a bit, meeting up with a friend for coffee, need to do the weekly shop, have put some washing on, gonna clean out boys and HOPEFULLY clean the house.

It's just started raining. Booo.

long road 13-10-2023 09:42 AM

Morning Beckie and Tamo!

I had a bit of rough start to the morning but reached out for support and am in a better headspace now. Hoping it lasts.

Just enjoying some almond butter toast with banana and a cup of fancy coffee.

Hope you get your cream Tamo. I feel cleaner when my armpits aren't hairy, although I know some people who don't care.

What kind of piercing are you getting today Beckie?

Boo to rain indeed. It's sunny here I will try and send the sunshine your way!

Cacoethes 13-10-2023 09:55 AM

Morning jen!
Glad you managed to reach out
Fingers crossed it lasts!

Getting the other nip pierced!

Elmer 13-10-2023 10:35 AM

Morning :)
Hope you all have good days

Cacoethes 13-10-2023 10:43 AM

Morning Lio!

Thank you, i hope you do too!

one_step_closer 13-10-2023 10:51 AM

Morning everyone.

Hope you get your cream, Tamo and have a good day today.

I couldn't get my boobs out for a piercing, I'm too shy!

Hope your day continues to improve, Jen. Well done for reaching out.

Hi, Lio. Hope you have a good day too.

I've been to the chemist and Tesco and did a washing.

not_so_insig 13-10-2023 10:53 AM

Morning all. It is dull here. Not sure if it's raining or not because I have yet to venture out.

one_step_closer 13-10-2023 11:00 AM

Morning, Dawn. Hope the weather improves. It was cold and wet here earlier but the sun is shining now.

Cacoethes 13-10-2023 11:07 AM

Morning lindsay!
How are you?

After the many years of being on 1:1 or 2:1, plus having a child, i don't even think about stripping off anymore XD
The lady that does my 'intimate' wax found it hilarious because i just do not care XD

It is grey but quite warm. Like muggy

one_step_closer 13-10-2023 11:09 AM

As long as you don't start walking down the street naked, Beckie! Would save you spending money on clothes and keep you cooler in the warmer months though.

I'm trying to be ok.

long road 13-10-2023 12:07 PM

Morning Lindsay, Lio and Dawn,

I thought we were trying to get Beckie to wear coats Lindsay! (although I fear we are fighting a losing battle) You are encouraging her in the wrong direction XD

I had a similar don't care attitude at my breast biopsy on Wednesday Beckie. The radiologist was taken back by how chill I was, but I have been in hospital so much recently I was at the so what sort of point!

I am still ok I think, still getting the intrusive thoughts but letting them pass through rather than engaging with them. Hope you can succeed in being ok for today Lindsay. Take it hour by hour if you need to.

tamobhuuta 13-10-2023 12:12 PM

I'm like osc with showing off my boobs - I hated having an ECG the other day.

My dad didn't bring the cream :(

not_so_insig 13-10-2023 12:21 PM

It is definitely very windy, raining and dark outside. Might need to put my lights on.

tamobhuuta 13-10-2023 12:47 PM

I hope your weather cheers up. But it is the UK so it probably won't!

Mushroom soup for lunch, yum (that's a genuine yum)

long road 13-10-2023 01:00 PM

I was like that at the start of last 2 months, but so many medical people have seen them recently with countless ecgs, and echo cardiogram, people helping me shower etc.. And with it being a breast clinic and then all being women that really helped as they were extra good about it all. Outside of a medical setting or with men medics not so easy.

My weather has got gloomy, gone from sunshine to grey and showers. Bit it might change back again who knows?

Enjoy your soup Tamo. I am trying to decide what to have for lunch, I think I like the idea of a cheese and ham sandwich or tomato soup or spaghetti hoops best.

tamobhuuta 13-10-2023 01:07 PM

Those are all good options.

not_so_insig 13-10-2023 01:31 PM

I am deciding what to have for lunch. Sadly I have no sandwich options. Nor spaghetti hoops.

I am sitting here bored. Tired of tv. Too dark to clean the communal area outside my flat as the lights are on a timer with no switch to override it. It badly needs doing as I have neglected it for several weeks.

tamobhuuta 13-10-2023 01:33 PM

That's annoying. What are your lunch options?

long road 13-10-2023 01:43 PM

I think I am going to make spaghetti hoops. Butt in a little bit as I have just got really comfy on my sofa!

Boredom and lack of lunch options is no fun.

Cacoethes 13-10-2023 02:06 PM

Don't worry, I'm not gonna start walking around naked XD
But nor am I going to start wearing coats! :tongue2:

It's now bright and warm
Very odd

Just been out for coffee with friend, topped up gas/electric and did my weekly shop
Need to clean out boys and REALLY need to clean the house

not_so_insig 13-10-2023 02:36 PM

I decided that I am going to have a bowl of coco pops in the end. It's a bit more brighter now so am going to see how it is in the communal area though still raining. But I have new shoes!

long road 13-10-2023 02:37 PM

Well glad to see you aren't changing Beckie:hehe:
Being yourself is important *nods* Even if your commitment to never wearing a coat baffles me!

That's British Weather for you absolutely all over the place!

Hope you had a good chat with your friend.

You can take your time with cleaning there is plenty of the day left so do try and pause for a minute or two!

Ninja Dawn Cocoa Pops are always a good shout.

tamobhuuta 13-10-2023 02:44 PM

Excellent lunch choices everyone.

I've washed my hair.

not_so_insig 13-10-2023 03:21 PM

I have hoovered the communal area and banged my doormat on the wall outside. It's looking better now. Still have to mop the tiles but am planning to mop my flat later so will do it then. It's a tiny area though.

one_step_closer 13-10-2023 03:40 PM

How can you not wear a coat in this weather? A hoodie isn't enough!

Cleaning is only fun if you're listening to music.

That's a shame you didn't get your cream, Tamo but good that you have nice clean hair.

tamobhuuta 13-10-2023 03:54 PM

Well done insig.

How's your day going osc?

not_so_insig 13-10-2023 04:36 PM

Thank you tamobhuuta.

Lindsay I have my tv on in the background does that count?

I am trying to break in my new shoes. That's the one thing that I hate about new shoes breaking them in. But my existing ones disintegrated the other day so I needed a new pair. :-(

Cacoethes 13-10-2023 04:46 PM

I have succeeded in cleaning out the boys and cleaning the house!
Also hung my washing up and put the boys stuff in the wash.
Feel like i should relax now but i kinda wanna go to asda again for the lolz

long road 13-10-2023 04:49 PM

Just had a showered very very tiring and I am a bit short of breath now but totally worth it. I feel so clean!

Well done for all your cleaning based achievements everyone!

one_step_closer 13-10-2023 05:33 PM

I hope you don't get scrapes on your heels at least, Dawn.

You should definitely relax now, Beckie!

Feeling clean is nice. :)

Cacoethes 13-10-2023 06:34 PM

Well done for showering jen!

I did not relax and decided to go to asda. My karma was that i got caught in the torrential downpour XD

tamobhuuta 13-10-2023 08:06 PM

Just now it is also torrential.

My mum brought some hair removal cream. It's more complicated than I remember. You have to put one cream on 24 hours before the actual cream, then put it on again afterwards.

Cacoethes 13-10-2023 08:20 PM

Is it like an allergy test?
Like hair dye always say to do a patch test 24 hours before using the dye on your hair.
I don't think anyone actually ever does though

I started watching the harry potter films again yesterday.
Am now on 'Harry Potter and the Year No One Got A Haircut'

long road 13-10-2023 11:18 PM

Which one is no haircut year? I can see the haircuts in my minds eye but can't remember if it's 3 or4.

Cacoethes 14-10-2023 07:34 AM

4, goblet of fire!

Morning everyone!

tamobhuuta 14-10-2023 09:41 AM

Cacoethes - I think it's a moisturiser but I'm not sure

Good morning everyone.

tamobhuuta 14-10-2023 10:22 AM

Tummy aches :( strap on hot water bottle time.

one_step_closer 14-10-2023 11:06 AM

Morning everyone. Sending good day wishes.

Anything good on today, Beckie?

I hope your tummy ache passes soon, Tamo.

not_so_insig 14-10-2023 11:59 AM

Morning all.

not_so_insig 14-10-2023 12:05 PM

Oooh my book just arrived. It's an early edition of Argh The Tale of a Tiger by M E Buckingham.
