I don't, it's really bad!
But no damage so far! And I've lived here over 8 years. Haha! I'd definitely give in! Hope you get an appointment tamo! |
Do you not have regular appointments with him, Tamo? I hope he gets back to you soon.
|
Well you may as well keep going with the window closed now! I always think it will make showering and drying feel colder. Disgustingly I rarely shower anyway and I open my window when I'm washing my hair over the shower.
You're a sucker, Beckie! |
I don't really shower unless i have somewhere to be!
I really am XD |
Nearly time for therapy, no point moving now, just didn’t get a lot done.
I hope the electrician comes soon Lindsay |
I bet the piggies love you for it, Beckie. <3
I hope therapy goes well, Alison. |
It is surprisingly easy for animals to manipulate humans! I apparently didn’t put enough treats in Sooty’s bowl at the weekend while feeding him and he just looked at me all sad with big eyes until I put the rest of the bag in. He’s a spoilt wee bugger!
Thanks Lindsay. Only have two sessions left I think, but I can rerefer myself after 3 months if I think I need to. |
No I just get in touch when I need him. I haven't contacted him for support since I was discharged from hospital in January.
|
Have fun at therapy WW...
|
Hope therapy is ok ali!
I hope they love me! They seemed happy i was back. Lol! The piggies are quite spoiled too! |
Oh so many posts! I have had a massive storm really heavy rain combined with thunder and lightning about 10 minutes ago. Now it's bright and sunny. I have a busy afternoon tesco and my cpn are coming! 4 substitutions and no unavailable items.
|
Oh and my hay-fever is playing up despite the fact I am taking antihistamines every day.
|
Exciting weather!
|
The rain was of biblical proportions. It's been a long while since I have seen it that heavy.
|
How do you feel about only having two sessions left, Alison?
I really hope your CPN gets back to you soon, Tamo. Especially since you don't have regular appointments so must need him when you text. Of course they love you, Beckie. I don't know if I've ever really spoiled Crookshanks because he was a Chunk for a while but he's a healthy weight now. I want a storm and then nice and sunny, when is it my turn?! I hope everything goes well with your CPN and delivery, Dawn. My hay fever has also been playing up despite being on antihistamines all year round. It's not too bad at the moment though. |
Now it's gone really dark and chucking it down. You are welcome to have my weather Lindsay.
|
Your weather doesn't seem to know what to do today, Dawn! I don't mind the rain, however heavy it is. But it is sunny here so I'm not complaining.
|
I'm sure you'll get it eventually lindsay!
It's grey but dry and pretty warm here. My 2 deliveries came within 10 mins of each other! I saw the dpd guy wandering around and i opened the door and said 'are you looking for me??' He was XD Tbf, the numbers on this road make no sense. And then he told me Rebecca was the name of his ex girlfriend. Didn't ask but ok...:ermm: |
Crazy rain here too. Some of the roads are flooded!
|
That's good with the deliveries coming within 10 minutes of each other but can't be so fun for them if the numbers on your road don't make sense. They would have been glad that you popped out your door! I've had delivery drivers tell me about their love lives before but luckily now there is no time to talk just a quick passing of the delivery.
|
Oh wow, Jen. That sounds bad.
|
Electrician is here. Although he was wearing a hoodie and I didn't ask to see his ID. He came in a council van though. Another thing was he didn't seem to know why he was here and I had to explain. I hope I've not let a dodgy person into my house!
|
Oh no jen!
Do you have to go anywhere today? Usually people can find it ok somehow! I wouldn't be able to if i didn't live here! It's a cluster house but it's on the side, so you can't see it from the road! It's a bit random! I guess if they're stuck in a van all day you kinda want to talk to someone occasionally! The fact that you are expecting someone should be fine lindsay! No one else will know apart from coucil people. They probably go to a million jobs a day so need reminding |
And he's fixed it already!
|
Wow! That was quick!
|
He said something was disconnected. I should have given him a gold star or see if he qualifies for anything in the Guinness Book of World Records.
|
Haha!
I guess it's easy if you know what you're doing! When my sink was blocked, the guy unblocked it in literally a couple of minutes! Idek what it was that blocked it! |
We are out and about left the flat to get lunch and our click and collect order from Tesco. Which is how we found out there were flooded roads as well as crazy rain. Place we wanted lunch from was turning people away as their car park was a lake so we got a meal deal from Tesco and waited in the car park until it was time to pick up our click and colect order which was just now.
We made it though and there is a way back to our place that shouldn't be too badly flooded. |
What a palaver!
Meal deals aren't too bad though! Hope you get home safely! My mum lives right by a river, so if it rains a bit too much, the bridge gets closed and most little bridges are inaccessible. It's not even worth trying to go there when its rained! The bus has to go a ridiculously long way round. |
Lots of posts. I enjoyed doctors.
|
Glad you enjoyed it!
I need to take the rubbish and recycling out, but the boys will hassle me for grass again when i come back in XD |
Home safe. Although there was just a massive lightning strike outside the window that made me jump and now my internet isn't working. Only my mobile data.
|
They're so greedy! Can they have too much grass? I'm thinking of horses.
|
Had tesco shopping order. There was a sandwich which i wasn't too sure about but when I inspected it it was acceptable. All the other substitutes were ok. Now put everything away bar a few things. Had another massive storm just before when the tesco man was coming up the path so he got a bit wet. A few things were a little bit damp but nothing major. Also I have a nachos now because I moaned the other day I had none.

Oh no!
At least you're home safe. Hopefully broadband will be restored quickly! They can't have too much grass. If they haven't had it before, you have to introduce it slowly. And it has to be grass that hasn't been treated with any chemicals in the last year. Which mine hasn't! |
As much as I want the internet back I also don't want someone out working in this weather it's too dangerous. So I am happy to wait. I have registered loss of service so I can get compensation if I end up being eligible.
|
That's very thoughtful of you!
At least you have data Just done a quick clean of the kitchen and swept the kitchen and living room. Because there was hay absolutely everywhere and i couldn't ignore it anymore. And because i went outside, i was manipulated into getting yet another plate of grass XD |
Cpn has been. Not expecting anyone else today hurray!
|
Yay! Were they helpful?
|
She was helpful and listened to me.
|
I'm glad :)
|
Oh nooo it's just started chucking it down with rain!
|
Oh no! It's stayed dry here so far.
|
It's sunny here atm.
|
Heard thunder. Ffs!
Asked glow beatz friends if they can pick me up for class. I only live a few mins drive from where it's held. |
Still no rain here but when I was out earlier the pavements were wet.
I'm glad you got home safe, Jen. Sounds like the weather is terrible today. I'm glad you have data but hope your broadband will be back soon. I'm glad your delivery was ok, Dawn and that your CPN was helpful. Fingers crossed someone can pick you up, Beckie. |
Only one other person out of our group is going, but she is going to pick me up luckily!
The rain is calming down now. |
That's good. Will she take you home too?
