It's chilly here too. I'm wearing a jumper dress and an oodie and I'm still a bit cool. I could do my hot water bottle..

Hospitals are usually too hot!

My toes are particularly chilly. I need socks with extra thick toes. My room is warmer than the main area.

I'd rather be too cold than too hot. Easier to solve being too cold than being too hot.

Yeah I'm exhausted, Yesterday I took my cat to cat hospital at 7am, then worked 7:45-6, picked her up (from another branch of where I work) and did a food shop, today I worked 7:45-6 and then have the quiz so I'll be home about 11, and then up to be at work at 7:45am tomorrow.

At least my other shifts this week are shorter, I do longer on Mondays and Tuesdays so I can have Thursday afternoons off for my therapy.

I lost a big chunk of the day sleeping off strong painkillers but they helped with the pain and they have worn off now and pain is there but manageable.

I've gone to bed. Boring of me!!!
Today was too much. Not in a bad sense but just too many thoughts and feelings. I sat on my balcony a short while because the cold can help to ground me but i kept seeing weird lights flashing in the sky so i guess i'm tired since my mind is playing so many obvious tricks on me tonight.
Aaaaaand they're having a part next door. Because it's tuesday evening so of course it's time to party…. *eye roll*
My support worker is back from vacation tomorrow. From Thailand and +30 degrees to snow covering everything. I did laugh the evil laughter a tiny bit when imagining him stepping out of the plane >:)

It's kind of halfway between roast and a stew/ casserole. Hard to describe. The dictionary definition is a Scottish dish consisting of potatoes cooked with onions.

In my recipe I use you fry off sausages and onions, then place in your root veg and potato around the sausages and onions and cover with stock. Cook for around 30 minutes until stick has mostly boiled off / been absorbed by the veg, you have a sticky sauce and light caramelisation on bottom of veg.

Hope your bed is lovely and cosy Zurg and that the parity next door finishes nicely eand early.

How is your day going?

My OT is visiting at 3pm.

I'm not great but got through my to do list. Crookshanks is currently on his bed upstairs. It's quite funny because if I need to move him because I need to get to the washing in the box room I just lift him up on his bed and put him in the bathroom and then lift him back to his spot when I've finished and he doesn't even move off his bed!

My OT visit went well. My OT is really good. Have a few ideas to try and she is going to see if she can get us a crash mat so we have one as extra safety measure when I am having a bad day. Because eparntw rcnat supervise me 24/7.

Understandable you would be grumpy.

I just thought of one positive of being in hospital the ward will have a TV license so you should be able to watch iPlayer while you are there. Which means you don't have to pay for last doctor who special.
