Getting admitted. I am stable now. But it's likely I won't stay that way and this way I can see a respiratory nurse specialist in the morning rather than waiting however long for outpatients. Just waiting in same day emergency care for a bed to be available.

Sorry for not replying to people.FND is acting up as well as asthma and I am in a load of pain. But wanted to update you all.

I've been reading a good book.

This way I finally get to see a specialist like I have been waiting for 13 weeks for. So it will be worth it. Might get a new treatment to try. One of those ones GP suggested but only hospitals can prescribe

I've gone to bed with a cup of tea. I had an almost two hour nap this afternoon but still feel exhausted. I tense up all the time but especially when stressed so my chest and ribcage feels so tight and achy. I Think i'll need to do some stretching excercises tomorrow. It hurts all the time.
Being crazy and growing old is not a good combo at all. Minus three stars, would not recommend!!!

I got even less sleep than normal because hospital. I also fell out of bed multiple times because non epileptic seizures and now have a bed surrounded by crash mats.

Yeah hospitals are really hard to sleep in! So noisy and bright! Even when they turn off the lights!
The crash mats will be helpful i hope! But i also hope you don't have any more seizures!

Less seizures is an aim. The crash mats are pretty comfy to land on. Meant I be getting a special low bed at some point so it's less far to fall.

I actually feel weirdly refreshed on what can't be much more than 3 hours sleep

It's a college interview.
Still not sure if I'm gonna do the actual course. It's part of a local college group but is actually pretty far away, and also the course finishes at 9pm, so would be hard to get back.
I'm counting on being able to drive by January!

Hello all. I have been busy. Had cpn and amazon today. The amazon order wasn't very exciting. Also watched Burghley (big horse competition) and a programme about a murder.

Exciting days all round. I had a good conversation with my spiritual director.

L went and got my parcel for me so i don't have to go back to the retail park! Relieved!

I am mildly bruised from dramatic bed exit but ok.

Have seen respiratory physio today and she will phone next week and then see me in outpatients. Have also got respiratory nurse follow up scheduled. And have plan for a new taper off steroids.

And surprisingly but awesomely if all goes to plan I should be getting discharged home this evening. Which ai am pretty happy about. Especially as I have got a load of good options out if the admission.
