I am wondering, you know the 500ml bottles of cider? In a pub, is it acceptable to drink them directly from the bottle or is that not cool and they should really be poured into a pint glass with ice?

It actually saves on a glass when we're REALLY busy in summer because everyone is on the fruit ciders! And fewer glasses to bring in from the garden.

Oh that is a relief. I was led to believe it's odd to drink from the bottle and I'm the only person I know who cba with a glass which the entire bottle doesn't fit into anyway! Thanks =P

Bit of both, I drink cider when I'm out myself and I prefer a glass, no ice though because I know how little pub ice machines are actually cleaned!!

When serving, I'd always like Beckie, ask if people want a glass and ice, usually it was a yes :)

Guinness shandy is not a thing i don't think? Never come across it!
But DO NOT order the Guinness last, always do it first because it takes forever to settle before you can pour the last bit.

I'm waiting in for an electrician to fix my bathroom extraction fan. I said I was available in the afternoon and they said someone would come in the afternoon but they couldn't guarantee that. I risked going out for my meds and a quick local shop and they haven't been yet. I thought I might have to put a washing on and hoover after they have been but again I just risked it and did it and they are yet to come. No gym group for me today though.

I hope you're looking after yourself, Beckie. Will this be your first time back at glow beatz? You've already done the gym, do you really need to do more exercise today? Sorry for nagging but I care about you! I hope you don't find some hay in your porridge!

No one wants to open windows when it's cold. Do you put your fan on while you're showering? I think I have a lot of damage on my walls because of the steam.

Crookshanks keeps walking over me and moaning when it's coming up to his food time. It's annoying but I don't give in if it's too early.
