You can have some left over pizza too, Lindsay! :D
|
I love avocado!
It really seems to have become popular recently! Prawn toast is amazing. |
Thanks Aubergine!
What do you eat with avocado Beckie? |
Chinese makes me feel sick. Even the smell of it. I can't go to one of those we do everything buffet places cos of it.
Guacamole is snot. Why would you want to eat snot?! *omnomnom pizza* |
Eww. Lovely image there Lillie!
|
No no no Lillie. Guacamole is gorgeous!
|
I think I've mentioned this before but have you seen that video/song where Dr Jean somebody sings about guacamole, amongst other things? It really gets stuck in my head.
|
I just used to eat an avocado on its own!
And in salads. Thats fair enough Lillie! I actually couldnt stand it for years for a reason I won't say here but yeah the smell made me want to vomit! I love it again now though! Ive never actually had guacamole Yes I have seen that Lindsay and now it is stuck in my head!! |
The song just to annoy you - https://youtu.be/MFmr_TZLpS0
I first heard it when I was in hospital and I was up one night pacing and singing it in my head and doing the dance. Behind my curtains of course! Did actually drive me nuts. |
Sorry Beckie! I was going to try and find someone else to blame but it was me who started talking about avocados.
|
"I've got a song that'll get on your nerves, get on your nerves..."
|
Does that guy still have a squeaky voice?
|
My god both songs are awful!!
|
Beckie, Dr Jean has a song to help you get up in the morning! https://youtu.be/39__jCTwNt0
|
I think we annoyed Beckie, Lindsay. :D
|
If that song played when I got up in the morning, my phone would be going through the window!
|
I apologised for annoying Beckie though. :-D
I could be doing something more productive like reading but I'm watching Dr Jean's videos now. |
How about I arrange a guest appearance of Dr Jean in your bedroom?
|
Omfg no!!!
|
Haha! Ok, I won't be that mean but I might save it for a day when I do feel like being mean to you. :-p
|
You can't apologise and then be mean again, Lindsay! That's not how it works! (Or so my mother used to tell me when I was winding up my little sister...) ;)
|
I've never heard that song. Don't think I want to change that either lol
|
Good cop bad cop!
But in one :p Don't do it Lillie! It will haunt you forever!! |
Haha I'll take your word for it!
My pizza was horrible :( |
I didn't click the link either, Lillie. I think that makes us winners. *high five*
I'm sorry that your pizza wasn't nice. :( |
That’s a shame Lillie.
I just opened my champagne truffles. Delicious! |
Oh nice! I hope you enjoy them. :)
|
Thanks. It’s such a nice treat.
|
It does sound like a lovely and well deserved treat. :)
How did my flat get messy again? |
It’s amazing how fast things get messy. My living room table was all tidy, now it’s cluttered again, but that’s mainly because of my sewing stuff.
|
I'm sure other adults have tidy flats. My mum's house is always spotless. :questionmark:
Clutter is ok if the clutter is useful. How's the sewing going? |
I don’t feel like a real adult.
The sewing is going well. I’ve pinned a pocket on the apron that I need to sew, and then I just need to sew the edges of the apron, attach trimming and straps. Still a lot of work. |
I do sometimes. Other times, I'm sure I'm just winging it!
Oh well done. Sounds like it's going to be great. Did you do sewing as part of your degree? I did woodwork at gcse and quit sewing when I was 13. Couldn't sew a button on, but could knock you up a nice chair... |
No, I did fine art for my degree. I specialised in printmaking and it involved a lot of drawing and I did some painting, which I now mainly do. I learned to sew when I was working freelance as an artist. I had to make banners and wall hanging and other sewing crafts in workshops I taught.
|
Woodwork is impressive!
|
I got an A* haha. I also managed to saw a hole in my school jumper!
You're so clever and creative, Lorraine. I'm quite in awe. |
That’s great, and impressive about the jumper.
Thank you. You are too kind. |
Hehe. My mum didn't think it was impressive! She would not buy me a new jumper because I was about three months off finishing school. Thankfully I didn't care too much! I still wear clothes to death until mum tells me I have to throw them out!
It's truth. And you deserve kind. <3 |
I’m the same. I have clothes I wear a lot until they fall to bits.
You are sweet. <3 |
When I lived with my parents, I sometimes rescued clothes from the bin... :whistling: They were comfy and it wasn't as if mum was the one had to wear them!
I'm glad I'm not alone in wearing clothes for a long time. Sometimes I look at Facebook and a memory will pop up from years ago and I still wear the clothes now! |
I think I hold onto the same clothes because I hate shopping for clothes.
Do you have any plans for tomorrow? I need to go to Asda. Fun times. I need to take rubbish out and do some washings. And I’m determined not to hide in bed, but use my living room, which is hard. |
I can understand staying in your living room being hard. I get that too. I think you're trying so hard and doing fantastically well. Perhaps we can spent time in the living room together tomorrow? :)
Getting anything nice from asda? I start a ten week self-management course at the mental health education centre tomorrow morning. Then I need to tidy before my friend comes for coffee. I also need to shower and might dye my hair. :) |
That would be nice staying in the living room together. I’ll be around tomorrow.
I need to buy gift wrap for my dad’s birthday present and hand wash. I hope your course goes well. What colour are you dyeing your hair? Mine is pink. |
Me too. It's a date! You can rock and I can swing. :)
I saw the bag you made your dad. Love the fabric! Thank you. Bit nervous, but I know the tutor. :) Red, I think. It's always red. Though I.was thinking.about more auburn. Will see what theyve got. :) |
Yay, it’s a date.
Thanks. I spotted the fabric in the shop and had to buy it. I’ve filled it with fancy shower gels that he wanted from a posh shop in Glasgow. It’s understandable to be nervous. I hope it goes well. Red is a nice colour. I think I better go to bed now, so that I get up tomorrow to go to Asda. Goodnight. Sleep well. |
Night night, Lorraine. :)
|
Morning, how are you all? I'm on my way to work and am really tired :(
|
Hey. :)
I hope you have a good day at work, Eska. |
Hope work goes quickly eska :)
I'm tired too. Was awake for ages in the middle of the night and got woken up by the building work near my house. Still at least I'm noy at work today so can snooze on the sofa. |
