I'm back from driving. Went to Halfords for new windscreen wipers, asda, aldi, one town and got a hot chocolate, then another town for a bit of parallel parking and got a burrito at the services.
All was good apart from an Audi driver honking at me because I moved literally about half a second after he would have liked me to on a roundabout. I was literally moving as he honked at me. Prick. Didn't bother me. L was furious though XD
Got back, cleaned out boys, showered and put meds in dossette box. Got work later. Booooo

I went to the chemist, put a washing on, hoovered, and went on the bus to get cat litter. Bumped into too many people I was desperate to get home!

I don't rage, I get more sarcastic than ragey!
If someone pulls out in front of me I'm more likely to just say something like 'what a d*ckhead' or 'yeah, that's a great idea, pull out in front of the learner'
L is usually the same, but she gets ragey when I'm driving. Not at me, like a protective type rage when other people are idiots!

I've learnt recently that I'm very bad at doing things with one arm and the opposite leg. It's so random, never realised I wasn't good at that!

I'm glad the week is over, but I've got quite a full on weekend ahead. Gonna need a weekend to get over it but alas it'll be back to work on Monday! Hopefully what I've got on will be good though.

Work was absolute hell! About as busy as the food festival (which was awful) but we just weren't prepared for it! Total insanity. And I stayed an extra hour because I couldn't leave them like that

Thanks Beckie! I'm seeing my sister tomorrow to help her baby prep and then out for dinner which I'm nervous about, then meeting a friend for coffee and picking some leggings I ordered up on Sunday. So busy but hopefully nice bits.

It was honestly the worst shift I've done in the 2½ years I've worked there! There was no room ANYWHERE in the glasswash for glasses. So for ages we couldn't even take glasses out of the washers because the trays were all full of other glasses! So the dirty glasses were just piling up everywhere!

Yes, it will be the warmer weather. First sign of warmth and the whole of the UK decide to head off to the pub XD

Bloody hell that sounds intense! I'm so sorry but well done you for surviving it! Yup you're not wrong - bit of sun usually equals pub time. I can't really do pubs any more with health stuff so this summer is gonna be a bit ****. Oh no, poor you being back there again tomorrow! Good luck!!

And there was a young girl just joined and it was her first shift! Bless her! I was extra nice to her to not only make her feel welcome, but to make sure she knows that it's not always like this and everyone isn't usually this stressed! She did well.
I remember my first shift being on a peak summer food festival, so I know what it's like.

I'm sure you can find other fun summery things to do! Pub culture is a huge thing in the UK though tbh.

I have had some interesting mail today. 3 postcards, 3 greetings cards and a book. Much prefer getting just a few postcards.

I got a letter from the DVLA saying they've received information from a 'third party' about my fitness to drive

I have 14 days to return the form, so I will be discussing it with my psych before returning the forms.
She's always been very encouraging about my driving and even wished me luck and said I should drive around Europe in the summer!

No, that was just a compliance check because I got a backpayment of a lot and I stopped my UC claim because it was over the threshold. But I had a manic episode and as a result, the money went very quickly and had to claim UC again and they wanted to know why.
As soon as I said 'manic episode' she totally got it and didn't need to discuss it further.

I really hope you can get everything sorted out quickly, Beckie.
