I do voluntary work with a charity and we have a bothy up in the highlands where we run the residential bits of our course.

it's needing a ****ton of work done to it and a group of us are going up there to do it so I'm just letting people know I will be away and unreachable until next sunday :-D

Whats a bothy? Sounds nice though- to get away from everything.

Cut down due to lack of covering staff and my plans changed so I agreed to work. Silly me.

Sweet potato, quinoa and lentil burger with bulgar wheat and wholegrain rice. Sounds posh but it was a frozen burger and microwaveable pouch.

a bothy is like a refuge for hill walkers you get them all over the highlands they are called open bothies and anyone can use them

ours is a "closed bothy" so its only us who are allowed to use it.

this means I will be making cobb which involves getting muddy and messy :-D

its a natural building material made by mixing sand clay straw and water
