no its ok, I'm here for you. thats good your watching TV.
Helplines can be scary especially if you havnt called them before, the first time I called one I kept putting the phone down and even now I take ages to speak if i call. But they coul help you *hugs*

ˈsäləˌterē 25-01-2011 06:50 AM

Thank You! What time is it there? I read a thread on here a couple days ago about helplines. There were some horror stories. They said it depends on which one you call n what you say. I'm afraid to take a chance.

frenchhorn 25-01-2011 06:54 AM

its 5.55am here! although i'm wide awake, too paranoid to turn the laptop off and take my hood off. god it sounds stupid saying that, but if i take my hood off then they will be able to get me.

I only know about UK helplines I'm afraid, the only one I have called is the samaritans. What is it that your most afraid of if i can ask?

ˈsäləˌterē 25-01-2011 06:59 AM

I've heard that they can possibly send an ambulence or police to your house and/or contact your doctor n even have you hospitalized etc. NOT AN OPTION!

frenchhorn 25-01-2011 07:01 AM

you wouldnt have to give them your address, you could put the phone down.

ˈsäləˌterē 25-01-2011 07:03 AM

It's been said that they trace you phone to get your address.

frenchhorn 25-01-2011 07:12 AM

what about calling from a mobile?

ˈsäləˌterē 25-01-2011 07:14 AM

Mine is prepaid n I can't use my husband's for that. They've said they sometimes call back to check on you. Besides, it's his work phone. I'm sorry Oliver, but I've been overcome with exhaustion n I have to get up early. Will you be ok?

frenchhorn 25-01-2011 07:17 AM

I'm unsure about how I am. I feel kind of calm but really low. I managed to phone the voluntary crisis team and they have been in contact with my psychiatrist and the official crisis team so i'm just waiting to hear from them.

Doikers 25-01-2011 05:15 PM

I hope it go's well for you Lindsay :) *Hugs*
