All I've left to do now is clean the shower cubicle and bathroom floor and run the hoover around. Though the latter always seems a bit pointless as it's a fair bit rubbish.

Why is there nothing decent on the telly today? The only programme I am looking forward to is Casualty and that's over 6 hours away. Not everyone likes football so you would think that they would put something decent on to compensate. Time to break out the dvds!

Then we have Wimbledon to look forward to as well so even less choice. Fortunately I am going away during the first week of Wimbledon so I shan't be bored.

It was absolutely bucketing down here about half an hour ago. I had almost just arrived home so it was a win for me! I don't mind the rain too much though.

Football is definitely overrated in my opinion and I really don't think it should dominate TV so much.

I've got a free trial of Netflix so I'm watching crime documentaries and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt mostly.

It's raining here. I am watching the Chronicles of Narnia dvd (the bbc version). I am having to watch it on the portable dvd player because for some reason it won't play on the one fixed to the telly.

Oh that is grown up shopping! What kind of hoover? I have a real want for a cordless vacuum, but they're expensive. :( Maybe if I get some birthday money I can start to save up...

I ask because I have a kilo of carrots because that was cheaper than buying ready grated carrots. I definitely don't need a kilo of carrots for my carrot cake so it seems wasteful to put them in the bin. I wouldn't eat them so if I could freeze them it means that I would have enough for any future carrot cake.

Worth a try Dawn, worst that can happen is you eventually have to bin them.

It's very grey and cloudy today.

Its the duck race today but my ankle is so bad I don't think I can make the walk down :(

The thing is that they are in the flat right now so if they had work at 9 am they wouldn't be in. He seems to be not in at between 12 and 6 so presumably works then so there's no reason to set his alarum clock on a Sunday at that time.

I always get a box of grapes and melon for lunch.
They've all been arranged with grapes on top, orange melon in the middle and green melon at the bottom.
For the last few days, the green melon has been in the middle and the orange melon is at the bottom.
This is not ok!
