oranges are not the only fruit is a really good book! i found parts of it really bizarre but overall i enjoyed it.

i was so excited when i saw it, cos finding a particular book there is kindof rare cos it's a second hand shop.
but anyway, i read the passion about two years ago, &jeez, i absolutley fell in love with the way that she writes.
i read the introduction/preface to oranges on the train on the day i bought it. and she sounds so lovely. like, i'd just like her to be my friend.

Today i bought jennifer government by Max Barry, i found it in oxfam.
I was then going to get the wasp factory by iain Banks as ive wanted it for ages. But saw a book in the recommended section in Waterstones, which had a review saying that it was more messed up than american psycho so obviously i had to have it. Its called 'Kill your friends' its by John Niven.

I want to start them both but i am still reading the contortionists handbook, which is actually really good i just havent had much chance to read. Its such a short book and ive been reading it for ages.

Just finished Pretending You Care: the Retail Employee Handbook by Norman Feuti - it was hysterical, and at the same time, oh so true! Now I'm onto Threshold by Caitlin R Kiernan - who I love, so I'm looking forward to the book!

I've just read 'the children of hurin' by J.R.R.Tolkien. I thouht it was brilliant, it takes a bit to get into though. Yu'll be rewarded if you hang in there and carry on reading :D

I'm now reading the history of middle earth. I like it apart from the editorial notes of the history behind each individual section (i just skp them) :P LOL

i'm reading Daniella westbrooks autobiography.."the other side of nowhere" It's actually so much better than I expected it to be.

Next i'll be reading "young wives tales"

Is that good streetspirit? My mum's got it downstairs but I haven't bothered reading it yet as I don't know for some reason as torey hayden books have gone on they've got abit.. I don't know..boring.

I just started The Other Boleyn Girl yesterday, its interesting alot of the stories about Henry VIII show Anne Boleyn as an innocent victim, but this one makes her out to be a right manipulative b*tch!

Currently reading Dingo by Charles De Lint. Before that, I read The Wood Wife by Terri Windling. Yeah, I'm on an urban fantasy kick right now.

He was a wrestler and I wanted to read it ever since it came out like in 1999/2000
It looks really interesting actually

Just finished High Fidelity, I ended up really liking it, I didnt think I would at first.
And now I finally found The Amber Spyglass, I just started it.

sarah: thats good to hear, because i only bought it cos i wanted to pay on my card and had to find another book to push it over £5.

to above: ah, high fidelity is so good. it's one of my favourites ever.

The Lion and the Unicorn by George Orwell. I only started it this morning but I'm a fair way in already. He's been telling me what it means to be English in that beautiful, yet simple, way he does. Genius.

Just finished the Heroin Diaries - Nikki Sixx. Started The Grass Is Singing by doris lessing. She won the nobel prize for literature last year! Wooo!

I just read "Letter To a Christian Nation" by Sam Harris and "A mis amigos de la locura" by Ernesto Ruiz Ortiz. Both were amazing, though short.
I am now reading "The Night Listener" by Amisted Aupin (I hope I spelled it right).
