There's a smell of smoke coming from one of the neighbours flat. It makes a change because usually the fire brigade go to the sheltered housing nearby.

I'm in bed. I didn't want to get stuck again, so got into bed before that happened! I have my electric blanket on and it's glorious.

Did I say that I saw my psychiatrist at work today? I managed to stay hidden from him, but he was walking down the corridor of the hospital. Must have been his ward round day. See lots of ward staff around, the curse of working on the same grounds as the ward I used to frequent, but seeing the consultant just seemed more weird. You know when you've got your professional head on and then someone out of your personal like shows up? I was not amused. :P



Bed is nice. I think getting into bed around 10pm is good. I won't sleep yet, but being in bed is better than being on it! Manager has called in reinforcements at work tomorrow, so we shouldn't be completely overrun. It's all good.

Oh yes! I know that feeling. I was once observing a MHAA and one of the doctors and the AmHP walked in and they had both sectioned me months earlier. Had to sit through the entire assessment with them. Was awkward as **** although to be fair I’m sure they weren’t bothered in the slightest! Still really throws you though!

I’m just home after being out for my dad’s birthday with my dad, sister and uncle. I had one too many gin and tonics. Yum!

It was good. We met in a pub, then went to an Indian restaurant and then back to the pub. Glad to be home though. Very tired and filled with gin.

Yeah, it does make me feel a bit better about work thanks. Fridays have been such a strain because we've either been one or two techs down the past few weeks and it's not enough staff to run the place effectively. The new full-time person starts on the 12th. I hope she's OK with it being so busy, as she's coming from quite a small community pharmacy. We are so, so different. Different SOPS, more flexibility with prescriptions, speaking more regularly to prescribers etc. We'll look after her, but I can see why it'd scare some people off.

Filled with gin is always good! Really fancy an Indian now lol. Glad you had a good time x
