sorry to wade in but that could very easily be COVID. Please at least do an LFT, especially if you're going to be near vulnerable people.

Afternoon all. I have taken an lateral flow test and like I suspected it was negative so it's the common cold. My dad has a cold and I was in the car a lot during the weekend with him so I suspect I caught it from him. Thanks Jenna for nagging me though. My head is clear today and was yesterday plus lemsip helps so I didnt think it was covid as I dont have a loss of sense of taste or smell.

It's a chilled soup in Tesco, not their own brand but can't remember what brand it is. I keep going back for it, it's really nice.

I feel ok at the moment Lindsay. Been battling with amazon as they didn't deliver my parcel on Monday. I shall hopefully have a refund. Yet I ordered something at the same time as my missing items and that turned up. All the items were prime eligible so it's their incompetence.

Amazon seem to be in a bit of a mess right now. I hope you do get your refund. So you have some missing items or were they just late?

I have 3 missing items Lindsay. I ordered 4 items at the same time on Sunday but only 1 arrived on Monday. Annoyingly it was the cheapest item that turned up. One item I was desperate for on Monday was one of the ones that didn't turn up so I had to order it again. It was also the most expensive.

Wow, that's a big mess! I tried to tell a driver I had cancelled the thing they just gave me but he was running back to his van and didn't hear me. In the end it wasn't the cancelled item and I know they're trying to be safe because of covid but they don't even acknowledge you. They could just stand back from the door. Half of the time they don't even look back so I might not have been in and they wouldn't have known so the package would remain at my front door for anyone to take.

Yes amazon delivered a parcel to me when I wasn't in about an month ago. They left it outside the communal door not even on my doorstep all day. Luckily most people are honest around here and it was there when I came home about 6 hours later.

Do you ever get deliveries from Hermes? Seems they've changed their name now, I thought it was a scam at first, I was getting all these messages telling me something was out for delivery but it did turn up and it was just Hermes changed to Evri.

Yes I do sometimes Lindsay. I used to get them a lot from a clothing website I use but they changed to yodel. Now I get them occasionally when an ebay seller uses them instead of royal mail as it says on their listing. I hate it when that happens.

Why would you want to DRINK food??? I just love chewing I guess...

Also a certain member of this goddamn forum did troll me via messenger when they saw my, ahem, contributions here and said that apparently daal is considered to be soup. Said member knows that I like daal.

Well, would it help you to know that I don't have a blender so my soups always have to be chewed. I agree that thin soup isn't nice. How is daal soup though? O.o

Hey Dawn, how are you today?

I feel ok cold wise. I am knackered because I went around the park twice and used a very heavy hoover on the communal corridor. It was very messy as there is workmen working on an flat in my block and they made one hell of a mess. It looks much better now though it took half an hour to make it respectable. I still have to put my doormat back and clean the door handle and knocker.

Sounds like a very tiring day. Will you be taking it easy this evening?

No I will be doing my cleaning. I suspect that I will be taking a lot of rest stops.

Hopefully you'll have a nice restful sleep tonight after all your hard work.
