Sketchy 17-12-2017 09:23 PM

Thanks Lindsay. I will do.

Sketchy 17-12-2017 09:24 PM

Lindsay I haven’t forgot I promised to make you one of my little bags. I’ll get working on it after Christmas.

Cacoethes 17-12-2017 09:24 PM

Love Actually is on Netflix if you have it.

And muppets Christmas carol is waaayy better than the human version!

Sketchy 17-12-2017 09:25 PM

Muppets are always good.

one_step_closer 17-12-2017 09:27 PM

Maybe one day muppets will replace humans in all things. No jokes about that currently being the case!

Don't have Netflix any more.

Lorraine, there's no rush. You don't even actually have to make me anything. You're too kind.

Sketchy 17-12-2017 09:29 PM

I’m happy to do it. Keeps me distracted, and I now have heaps of fabric to choose from begging to be used.

one_step_closer 17-12-2017 09:30 PM

How do you even decide which fabric to use? Just make ALL the things?!

Cacoethes 17-12-2017 09:31 PM

Hahaha! It is becoming true, the whole muppet thing :p

You dont have netflix?! :O

Sketchy 17-12-2017 09:33 PM

I know I spend ages choosing. I’m going to attempt to make myself an apron for when I’m painting. I’m also going to make myself storage bags too.

Cacoethes 17-12-2017 09:34 PM

I made an apron once!
At one of the long stay units i was on did textiles so we made stuff like the aprons and bean bags and toys and stuff.
It was fun!

Sketchy 17-12-2017 09:35 PM

That does sound fun.

Buttons. 17-12-2017 09:45 PM

I wish I was creative like you lot!! The most I ever managed was a few **** drawings and some collages. I am hopeless at sewing knitting you name it.

Sketchy 17-12-2017 09:46 PM

I can only do very basic knitting. I’m hopeless at it. Sister is brilliant at it. She knits such cosy socks.
Do you still draw and make collages?

Cacoethes 17-12-2017 09:48 PM

I can't do any of it now!
I used to sew all the time but i seem to have lost my creative flair as the years have gone by!

one_step_closer 17-12-2017 09:48 PM

I used to have Netflix but then decided to stick with TV to save money because I wasn't really watching much on Netflix.

Lorraine, do you have loads of fabric then? Will you make a multi fabric apron or all one fabric?

I have no patience for things like that. Tried cross stitch a while ago but it's a bit hard to make sure you're stitching in the right square.

Sketchy 17-12-2017 09:53 PM

I have loads of fabric, all thanks to my sister. I’ll probably use two different fabrics for my apron.

Cacoethes 17-12-2017 09:53 PM

Fair point!
All my family watch on my Netflix, well, they did until a payment failed to go through so they pay for it now :p

I didnt get on with cross stitch either!

one_step_closer 17-12-2017 10:18 PM

Does that mean you have your own Netflix or are you using theirs now?

I really need to try and quietly post my neighbours Christmas cards. I keep putting it off because I don't want to talk to anyone but they might hear me and come out! One of my neighbours is definitely nosey/chatty enough to do this. I don't even want anyone to look out of their window at me. Fun times!

tiptoes 17-12-2017 10:18 PM

I love cross stitch but there are some times when it is way too nerve racking to try and find the right square!

Your apron sounds like a good project Sketchy.

Hi everyone

Sketchy 17-12-2017 10:19 PM

Thanks. How are you doing?

tiptoes 17-12-2017 10:20 PM

Would it be worth saving it until you might want to make small talk with someone? Or secretly keep an eye out for when each neighbour heads out and then post them!

tiptoes 17-12-2017 10:21 PM

tired and a bit fragile tonight, like I'm ok but it doesn't feel like it will last the evening. Not sure if this makes sense.

How are you doing?

one_step_closer 17-12-2017 10:22 PM

Hi Sarah, how are you?

I think I'll probably try and post them at some point tonight when at least everyones blinds/curtains will be shut.

Sketchy 17-12-2017 10:22 PM

That makes sense. Sorry to hear it. I hope it eases soon.

I’m ok thanks. A bit sleepy.

one_step_closer 17-12-2017 10:23 PM

Hope your evening turns out to be ok. I know that when you feel like ok feelings aren't going to last sometimes that makes it more likely that they won't last because you're thinking about it so much.

Sketchy 17-12-2017 10:23 PM

Good luck Lindsay. Best to get it over with.

Cacoethes 17-12-2017 10:23 PM

My family are paying for the Netflix now.
Im still on the account though.

Lindsay, just post and run!!

Hey sarah! Nice to see you.
Sorry you're not feeling great though

one_step_closer 17-12-2017 10:24 PM

Thanks Lorraine. Are you going to have an early night?

one_step_closer 17-12-2017 10:24 PM

Beckie, I don't dare run in case there is black ice outside!

Cacoethes 17-12-2017 10:26 PM

Ah that is a problem!
Im not sure how else to get around it.
Can you stake out their house to see when they leave?

Sketchy 17-12-2017 10:27 PM

No, I think I’ll watch a film before I go to sleep, but I won’t stay up too late.

one_step_closer 17-12-2017 10:27 PM

I've got 4 neighbours to give cards to so it's probably best doing it under the cover of darkness since they're all quite nosey so will notice if I give them out during the day at different times for each of them.

one_step_closer 17-12-2017 10:27 PM

Have you got an idea about what film you might watch?

Sketchy 17-12-2017 10:29 PM

Back to the future. Might make another cup of tea to have while watching it.

Are you up to much?

one_step_closer 17-12-2017 10:31 PM

Hope you have a nice evening.

I'm just about to head out to post my cards and then I'll probably watch TV for a bit.

Sketchy 17-12-2017 10:33 PM

Hope you find something good to watch.

one_step_closer 17-12-2017 10:34 PM

Thanks. I think the only regular catch up TV thing I've still to catch up with is Island Medics.

Cacoethes 17-12-2017 10:34 PM

Im off to bed now guys!
Night all!

Sketchy 17-12-2017 10:34 PM

I’ve never seen that. Hope you enjoy it.

Sketchy 17-12-2017 10:35 PM

Good night and sleep well Beckie.

tiptoes 17-12-2017 10:35 PM

I've not seen that film in ages!

I have retreated to my room for a quiet evening to hopefully keeping things ok.

I hope none of your neighbours notice!

Night Beckie!

Sketchy 17-12-2017 10:36 PM

Sarah, a quiet evening sounds good. I hope you can relax.

one_step_closer 17-12-2017 10:37 PM

Night Beckie, hope you have a good sleep.

Island Medics is about a hospital in Shetland. I sometimes get confused and think everything is not modern because I watched some other programme that was similar and was shown in 2003 and it was like it was ancient times!

one_step_closer 17-12-2017 10:37 PM

Look after yourself Sarah.

Sketchy 17-12-2017 10:38 PM

It’s amazing how fast things progress, even though 2003 doesn’t seem that far ago.

one_step_closer 17-12-2017 10:39 PM

2003 seems not long ago to me but when you really think about it it is. Nearly 15 years ago!

tiptoes 17-12-2017 10:40 PM

Shh I was young in '03 and I'm still young!

Buttons. 18-12-2017 05:04 AM

Heck I still think the 90s only just happened :P

Eska 18-12-2017 10:02 AM

Morning everyone :)

Buttons. 18-12-2017 10:26 AM

Morning lovely how are you?

We have massivve mist this morning I can barely see down the road and it's very cold, anyone else same?

Dog doesn't seem to mind though, she had her breakfast, mad time in the garden and for the the last hour or so has been entertained by me throwing a toy. Not sure what time she'll get her walk today as I need help getting in and out of the house and support worker said either 10 or 1:30 (helpful) will obv make sure she gets one though.
