not_so_insig 18-12-2017 02:02 PM

Cacoethes 18-12-2017 05:07 PM

Eska 18-12-2017 05:07 PM

I’m doing pretty well thanks Buttons. It’s a bit cold here too but it that misty. I’m about to head into town to meet up with a friend so shall see!

Eska 18-12-2017 05:08 PM

It is, isn’t it Beckie! I hope that means everyone is having a fun day.

Cacoethes 18-12-2017 05:19 PM

Have a good time with your friend Eska!

Im currently demolishing a box of celebrations that were meant for my GP surgery.
Looks like I'll have to get another one!

Cpt_Stunning 18-12-2017 05:20 PM

I just got home, been a nice, sunny warm day.

not_so_insig 18-12-2017 05:44 PM

It's a cold day here.

Cacoethes 18-12-2017 05:47 PM

It hasn't been too bad here today.
Got the heating on still though!

not_so_insig 18-12-2017 06:10 PM

It's too cold not to have heating on.

Buttons. 18-12-2017 06:21 PM

You try relying on an electric heater that turns itself off intermintantly-luckily we have a lot of blankets.

I had to go shopping today and the mist/fog was so thick we were afraid the taxi would run into something :P

Buttons. 18-12-2017 06:27 PM

Okay the radiators have come on I'll take it all back :P

Cacoethes 18-12-2017 06:42 PM

Haha!!

Im doing 1 of 2 science quizzes due on Thurs.
Its really hard even though we are allowdd to Google!

Buttons. 18-12-2017 06:46 PM

You're allowed google?!!! Wish I had that in my GCSEs :P Stop whinging :P

Sketchy 18-12-2017 06:47 PM

Hello all.

Cacoethes 18-12-2017 06:55 PM

Seriously Buttons, it is really difficult still!
Google doesn't always help!
It is better than the last one though

Buttons. 18-12-2017 07:10 PM

I'm sure you'll do just fine Beckie :) hey Lorraine hows things?

Cacoethes 18-12-2017 07:19 PM

Don't suppose anyone knows which type of epilthelium is responsible for shifting mucas from airways?

Eska 18-12-2017 07:28 PM

Wikipedia says ciliated pseudostratified columnar epithelium, if that helps!

Cacoethes 18-12-2017 07:31 PM

Thanks! Thats what I thought!
On last question of quiz 1
Its a tough one!

Eska 18-12-2017 07:47 PM

It sounds it

one_step_closer 18-12-2017 07:50 PM

What an interesting fact to have learned today (despite me not knowing at all what it means and also I won't be able to remember the big long words). Hope you're getting on ok Beckie.

Cacoethes 18-12-2017 07:54 PM

I probably wont remember it either!
Im on the last question now.
Then im going to have dinner and then do the next one!

Sketchy 18-12-2017 08:02 PM

I’m ok thanks Buttons.

How is everyone?

Hope you get it done ok Beckie. You are doing well with studying.

one_step_closer 18-12-2017 08:06 PM

How much do you have left to do Beckie?

Hi Lorraine.

Sketchy 18-12-2017 08:07 PM

Hi Lindsay.

What’s everyone up to? I’m going to watch the second back to the future film tonight.

one_step_closer 18-12-2017 08:09 PM

How many films are there? Did you enjoy the first one you watched last night?

I might watch Old People's Home For 4 Year Olds At Christmas later on. Think that's what it's called.

Sketchy 18-12-2017 08:14 PM

There are three. I enjoyed it very much last night. I’m not keen on the third one though, so I’ll probably give that one a miss.

I hope you enjoy your program. I’ve never seen it.

not_so_insig 18-12-2017 08:26 PM

I am watching Olympia ( big international horse show ) on the red button.

one_step_closer 18-12-2017 08:26 PM

Hope you enjoy your film tonight.

The Old People's Home For 4 Year olds was on channel 4 a while back, it's about nursery children going to an older people's home to do activities and it improved the emotional and physical wellbeing of the older people.

one_step_closer 18-12-2017 08:27 PM

What happens in the horse show? (Sorry if that's a stupid question).

Sketchy 18-12-2017 08:29 PM

That sounds good.

Cacoethes 18-12-2017 08:55 PM

Ugh I'm stuck on this last question!
And laptop randomly shut down.
Hope its saved my answers!

Ive been to see the horse show twice.
Its actually amazing!
Best bit was the Met police jumping through rings of fire and somehow managing to remove their saddles while cantering around and then put them back on again!
It was crazy!

Sketchy 18-12-2017 09:00 PM

I’ve opened a box of chocolates. Tasty!

one_step_closer 18-12-2017 09:03 PM

Really hope your answers have been saved Beckie!

The horse show sounds cool.

Are they your birthday chocolates Lorraine? I had some chocolate orange pieces with popping candy.

Cacoethes 18-12-2017 09:03 PM

Yum!! What kind of chocolates?
I finished my chocolates XD

The answers were saved thank god!!

Sketchy 18-12-2017 09:07 PM

Baileys chocolate twists. So yummy.

Cacoethes 18-12-2017 09:10 PM

Ooooo yum!
I hope we have some Bailey's this year.

one_step_closer 18-12-2017 09:11 PM

Do they taste strongly of baileys? I'm not fond of alcohol but I do like chocolate!

Sketchy 18-12-2017 09:12 PM

Baileys is always nice at this time of year.

Sketchy 18-12-2017 09:13 PM

They do taste like baileys but they aren’t too strong. They are wafers with baileys in them and covered in chocolate. Yummy!

Cacoethes 18-12-2017 09:14 PM

I find that Bailey's tastes better with ice.
Which is weird because I don't usually like ice in drinks

Sketchy 18-12-2017 09:16 PM

Definitely with ice. I bought baileys the other day.

Cacoethes 18-12-2017 09:22 PM

I can't believe Christmas is so close now!
Im still waiting for some parcels to arrive

Sketchy 18-12-2017 09:24 PM

I know it’s scary how fast it’s been. I just need to get extras like wine and chocolates, which I’ll get from Asda tomorrow. After that I’m going to watch the cat while my sister is at work.

Cacoethes 18-12-2017 09:30 PM

Cat sitting sounds good!

My mum brought up me dog sitting if they went away. Which would be great except the dog was only here for a few hours and tried to destroy everything!!

Sketchy 18-12-2017 09:33 PM

Dog sitting would be great.

Are you up to much tonight Beckie?

I’m looking forward to cat sitting. I’ll give her a treat, so I’ll be her favourite for a while. She’s such a little character.

Cacoethes 18-12-2017 09:37 PM

Im just watching tv.
Nothing exciting!

How about you?
The cat sounds like shes got a lovely personality

Sketchy 18-12-2017 09:42 PM

I’m watching the second back to the future film on Netflix.
