I can't find all the info online because it's such a niche specialty!
I think in total it's like 3m from the ground(?) For international.
For our local ones, i think it's 2m80.
For us in class now, it's just getting the technique. Would love to try a tournament one day though!

I've never experienced it obviously but it certainly does sound like a full time job!
I guess it is something you just kind of have to 'do' at this point. Doesn't make it any easier though, I'm sure!

3 metres? Let me get this straight - a human has the ability to jump and kick with their foot reaching a height of 3 metres above the ground? That does not sound possible.

It is something you have to 'do', but I honestly don't remember any differently, so even with the way managing it has changed over the years, it really is just what it is. But it is definitely easier/possible to ignore it at times.

He is over 6ft, standing on a stage and he held is hand out to only just below HIS head height, from the ground, not the stage.
Because you're leaping with one leg, you have to take a little run up.
I believe the run ups are longer in actual tournaments. We just kinda stepped back a little.
I tried to find a video of the actual kick but there aren't any! Just normal kicks (one of which gets up to 2.8metres. But it wasn't the same kick.

MasterChef and other cooking shows low key inspire me. Like I don't embark on big fancy things but I have learnt about balancing flavours with seasoning and acidity and stuff. And it's the reason I decided to do things like make my own tartar sauce and my own salad dressing. I do really enjoy cooking and baking.
