Love Brighton
Well, I say "day" but it'll only be a few hours. Enough for a chippy and walk along the beach/pier. I love being by the sea.
Don't let a seagull steal your sausage!
I will absolutely not let any seagull near my food this time!! XD
When a seagull chooses its victim, there's no 'I will not let it' about it XD
Just accept your fate. Or buy a small bag of decoy chips to throw at them |
Or eat inside.
Ooh food!!
How is everyone? What’s everyone having for tea? I’m thinking what I have for after work! |
A seagull once played leapfrog on my head. It hurt for hours. I was eating a doughnuts at the time. Thankfully I was too quick to lose the doughnut.
We were talking about sausages. When do you finish work?
Dawn beat the seagull! Humans never win! *applauds*
For some reason, i did not consider eating inside an option...with the recent weather, as well as seagulls, probably wise.
Having to eat inside would be a shame though. What's the weather supposed to be like, NP?
It rained here before. Was brilliantly sunny too.
It's been rainy then sunny then continue in that pattern here.
Been sunny and really warm all day here! Apart from an hour or so of rain. Which has stopped now.
I think Sunday's looking alright - sunny and then rain later in the afternoon/evening. So we could eat outside but it might be nice to sit down. It's not worth the risk with the seagulls.
Well I hope you get a nice walk on the beach anyway if you're going to eat inside.
I'm sure I will. Plus doughnuts.
I hope you have a lovely time!
Definitely not worth the risk with the seagulls imo |
I learned my lesson from last time. If it happens again I don't think I'd be allowed back because of the shame.
Hot, freshly made doughnuts? I hope you enjoy your day and don't have to be too wary about the seagulls.
Hot, fresh, cinnamon!
Thanks, I think it's going to be a nice adventure. |
Oooh nice!
I don't think I've ever had doughnuts with cinnamon.
They are very good!
Seaside cinnamon doughnuts are the only way!
I put cinnamon in my porridge once and it didn't taste very nice. Maybe I put too much in because I like other things with cinnamon like cinnamon buns. Lots of 'cinnamon' there!
But hot sugar doughnuts are good too. I think I'd pick them over cinnamon.
I agree with you osc. Cinnamon in a bun, yum. But not in porridge.
If I eat chips at the seaside I eat under these open bus shelter like things they have at various seafronts round here in the Southwest.
My sausages and root veg are almost ready. Om nom nom |
Cinnamon in porridge is ok but you have to get balance right so it doesn't give the porridge a gritty texture
Need apple in there at same time |
I agree about the apple with cinnamon in porridge. You need to balance the cinnamon with the right amount of sweetness or it can be gross.
How about apple slices with that pretend yoghurt coating you get on cereal bars and a sprinkle of cinnamon?
Fresh apple with a sprinkle of sugar and cinnamon, yes. I'm not a fan of that yoghurt coating. Not sure it would go with cinnamon?
Evening gang! I don’t think I’d have cinnamon on porridge. Just to throw my hat in the ring!
Hi all :)
I end up getting lost in the convo going on here so i often just Pick it up from some random point. I just had strawberries with cream. But that means i have to stay up for at least two more hours to take a type of med that does not go Well with dairy products :( But it really did feel like my entire life depended on me having strawberries with cream tonight….. So much anxiety today. Silly mind!!! Congrats on your freedom Beckie :D Now go on and lead the revolution!!!! |
Mmmm strawberries and cream. That's worth having to stay awake a bit longer for.
Stewed cinnamon apple is amazing!
I had to Google that, Ahimsa. It does look delish :)
True NP!!! But of course i end up feeling tired as soon as i finished my strawberries :( i Think my body conspires against me |
Hey Zurg!
I'm going to have a fish finger sammich for dinner, I'm home from work and they're in the oven :) |
That is a late dinner!!! I hope you'll enjoy it.
I just fetched myself a glass of cola. Mostly because i can… I keep telling myself i should drink more healthy fluids but i also feel old and thus allowed to be as silly as i want. |
I burnt my dinner :(
It was edible eating round the burnt bits but not particularly enjoyable. And it has made me sad, possibly disproportionately so. |
Just segue-ing straight into discussion of Beckie's RV here - one time we passed my hamster around the table in a Costa at a Manchester meet and we didn't get wrong :P Intrigued to hear what they say on the twitter to you!
lol never mind, decided to just stalk the twitter to find out :P
Yeah it's a no!
So I'm gonna be hanging out in a bus station for an hour. Unless i find a hipster café that's dog/pet friendly. *googles* Guinea pigs are a bit more conspicuous than a hamster! Or i could get them little hi vis vests and claim they are assistance guinea pigs? |
Casually ignoring my dinner woe, to talk about hamsters and guinea pigs! How very dare you :p
I am trying to roleplay and failing to concentrate very well. Could you take the guinea pigs to a park or would that be taunting them? |
I've been tempted to take my giant african landsnail along to everywhere, claiming it's my psychiatric service snail. If people get angry i'll just hand them snailzilla and tell them to put her somewhere safe until i can Pick her up >:)
Mwahahaha malicious snail depositing!
Sorry Jen!
I've tried to find pet friendly cafes, but all the dog friendly (so i assume other pet) cafés don't open until after my bus leaves. Which isn't helpful. It is quite late. Take a break if you need to! Guinea pigs aren't a fan of big open spaces, so they probably wouldn't be too impressed at a park! Ha! Do it zurg! |
It's alright. Just was being dramatic XD
I been engaging a bit in roleplaying but not fully. |
