Why on earth do you need to do an oral part of the exam for playing an instrument!? Isn't that the whole poiunt of playing an instrument is that you don't have to sing but can still do music. =o

Hello all. My mum was unwell yesterday so I was a bit concerned. But she is near normal today so fingers crossed that it was a 24 hour bug. It was snowing before.

Need to try and make a GP appointment tomorrow which is a task and a half!
You have to call bang on 8am to be in with a chance of getting an appointment. And I hate phone calls!

Making an appointment with any GP seems to be a hassle, they really need to sort out a better system. Although my GP is now not too bad, you fill in a form online and usually someone gets back to you the same day to let you know if you need an appointment/telephone call/whatever. The problem is answering the phone call!

Our surgery you have to wait 3 weeks for an appointment.

I've just checked online and the soonest pre bookable appointments are in January

Sounds about right for this time of the year. If the surgery deems we should get a routine appointment we usually have to wait for 2 weeks.

They only do either same day appointments or pre-bookable ones way in advance

I don’t envy you trying to get gp appointment Beckie hope you manage to get one! Tamo that’s insane. Lins that internet thing makes sense although I’m opposite of Beckie prefer a phone call then I feel more sure having talked to an actual human being.

Spent the day packing like a lunatic and have now ordered pizza as a reward although didn’t realise had already switched phone info to new address so had to ring and tell them where I actually am so prob caused myself some delay there. Packing is confusing the hell out of the dog

Bless neighbour just came round to collect a parcel I took in for her and I told her I was moving (to explain why she needed to cone in to get said parcel via endless boxes) and she said oh so we’ll just be getting someone new in? Hope they’re nice like you. Which was sweet and unexpected my neighbours have had to put up with a fair amount of chaos with me over the last 5 years
