I know ;-)

How're you?

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 10:07 AM

How very dare you :p

I'm ok thanks!
Some very strange dreams.
I was a dog leading other dogs to run away to France via ferry. There was more to it but that was the main bit.

How are you?

nonperson 16-10-2021 10:31 AM

Were you a dog too? O.o

I had weird dreams as well but can't remember them now at all... I could when I woke up.

I'm alright. Been to see my friend's dog and have decided to do the dreaded food shop while I'm out. And I'm really hungry so might get something tasty and evil for breakfast.

What're you up to today?

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 10:38 AM

I was!

I only really remember them for a short time after waking up. But i can sometimes remember the main bits.

Sounds good apart from the food shop!
Definitely get something tasty!

I also need to do a food shop.
Which for me is basically just a coke zero shop lol
Need to sort out the airing cupboard too. But I think I'll do that tomorrow.
Everything just gets dumped in there

nonperson 16-10-2021 11:55 AM

It was getting so busy out in the world when I was leaving. Glad to be home.

My shop was mostly a rice cake shop...

I'm a little surprised that an airing cupboard gets messy, surely it's just sheets and stuff?!

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 11:58 AM

I've gone off rice cakes for some reason

It is just sheets and stuff
But my neighbour keeps randomly giving me a ton of towels and sheets that I really don't need and I just kind of push them in there
I think there's other stuff in the back too. But I'm not sure lol
I probably realistically only need like 3 towels because it's just me. And I do washing frequently.
But I have approximately a million towels that I never use. Because I have favourite towels

nonperson 16-10-2021 12:09 PM

You need to try the pesto ones by Kallo, that'll get you back on rice cakes.

That's annoying - kinda helpful but not really if you've already got loads. I could do with new towels though

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 12:16 PM

Oooh they sound good!

She means well
But I just don't need so many towels and sheets! Sheets that don't even fit!
She's done the same with glasses, plates and bowls too

tamobhuuta 16-10-2021 12:23 PM

Morning guys.

It's grey and miserable here so I'm glad I have no errands.

nonperson 16-10-2021 12:25 PM

That sounds like quite a quirky habit of hers, Beckie XD

Morning Tamo! What will you be doing with your day?

It was pouring with rain earlier here but the sun's out now so maybe the weather will improve later in your area.

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 12:26 PM

Morning tamo!

It is an annoying habit!
I live alone! I don't need a shelf full of glasses!

It's the same here np

nonperson 16-10-2021 12:32 PM

I'm kind of amused thinking that she probably thinks she's being really helpful but your house is just filling up with her unwanted junk. XD

Also, off topic and not that you asked but I didn't have to call the council to sort out paying council tax.

tamobhuuta 16-10-2021 12:34 PM

I've got a friend who's very kind but leaves random things on my doorstep.

nonperson 16-10-2021 12:41 PM

Useful random things?

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 12:42 PM

Pretty much!
I'm going to get rid of it all on a local free page on fb.

I was actually going to ask!
It's all very confusing!
Hopefully they'll just take it out automatically then!

tamobhuuta 16-10-2021 12:44 PM

Nope. If I can I try to give it back. Some of it I have to throw away because there just isn't space!

nonperson 16-10-2021 12:52 PM

Well you still have to set it up and make sure you're getting your single person discount and there are other discounts that might apply? I'm not entirely sure about that but I remember having to check they'd applied the single person one to mine.

And you only pay 10 months of the year but that can be changed if you want to pay 12 months to reduce the monthly cost but I think you would have to ring them in that case.

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 12:54 PM

Ah ok.
I'll check the letter again to make sure they applied the single person discount!
It's hard being a grown up

nonperson 16-10-2021 01:01 PM

It is. =(

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 01:58 PM

I have been to asda!
It is very warm outside!
And town was really busy because it's market day

nonperson 16-10-2021 03:11 PM

Woop, all stocked up a on coke zero again?

It is warm! I'm sitting on the back door step watching a grasshopper crash into things. Maybe he's blinded by the sun as much as I am.

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 03:20 PM

And boring stuff like washing up liquid and bin bags

Haha! That sounds amusing!

nonperson 16-10-2021 03:27 PM

I felt very cultured by buying smoked paprika today.

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 03:58 PM

Ooooh get you!

nonperson 16-10-2021 04:18 PM

It didn't go with anything else in the basket though.

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 04:32 PM

What's it for?

nonperson 16-10-2021 04:49 PM

Nothing immediately. The soup I made a while ago was bland and I'm convinced that smoked paprika is the answer rather than the normal stuff.

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 04:56 PM

I don't think I've ever cooked with any type of paprika!
I did used to like the paprika pringles though lol

nonperson 16-10-2021 05:00 PM

It's nice if you do your own sweet potato wedges. Or any wedges.

I was basically trying to recreate chorizo flavour for the soup.

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 05:07 PM

Oooh yes that does sound nice!

tamobhuuta 16-10-2021 06:05 PM

Mum has made carrot and cashew payasam, the Indian milky stuff she made before but with new flavours.

nonperson 16-10-2021 06:15 PM

Mmmm cashews are nice.

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 06:25 PM

I do love a cashew!

nonperson 16-10-2021 06:31 PM

Who can stop at just one though?!

tamobhuuta 16-10-2021 06:34 PM

I love honey roasted cashews the best.

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 06:37 PM

Oooh honey roasted cashews are indeed the best!

Very true np!

nonperson 16-10-2021 06:46 PM

Om nom nom.

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 06:54 PM

I'm watching squid game again.
On episode 6 and actually quite into it now!

nonperson 16-10-2021 06:59 PM

Oh Beckie... :nono:

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 07:00 PM

I knooow!

But I'm trying to be 'down with the kids'

nonperson 16-10-2021 07:05 PM

Sounds like it's working!

I don't know what to watch...

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 07:12 PM

Watch taskmaster!
I still need to catch up with this week's episode

nonperson 16-10-2021 07:34 PM

Gawd I keep forgetting about Taskmaster.

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 07:44 PM

But it's sooo good!

nonperson 16-10-2021 07:48 PM

I know =( I seem to have some sort of barrier watching it lately.

I'm going to be sad and watch Strictly when it comes on soon.

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 07:59 PM

Never been a fan of strictly.

nonperson 16-10-2021 08:06 PM

I get into it sometimes, particularly if there's people I know on there. Haven't watched it this year other than the first show.

Makes me wish I could dance like they do.

Cacoethes 16-10-2021 08:16 PM

I've never really liked dancing!
And it looks easy. Even though I know it isn't!

not_so_insig 16-10-2021 08:24 PM

Hello all.

Beckie if you're getting rid of bedding please consider animal charities. They use a lot of bedding especially for ringworm cases and always need tons. If you have an large amount they might collect.

nonperson 16-10-2021 08:25 PM

I used to hate dancing when I did it for gymnastics but I was never encouraged or taught properly because I wasn't so comfortable with it like others were. So yeah I have hang ups about that but sometimes I think I might enjoy it in the right situation. Probably not ballroom dancing though. I dance around the house a lot because I have music on so much. XD They go hand in hand.
