I keep on telling her we miss her especially you Beckie. I last heard from her on the 3rd of December but she said then she was low and tired.

one_step_closer 10-12-2018 05:29 PM

*sends Lorraine love into the universe*

You have been busy today Beckie.

Sounds like a yummy week Dawn!

Cacoethes 10-12-2018 05:29 PM

I think of her often
I really hope shes ok

How's your day been lindsay?

one_step_closer 10-12-2018 05:43 PM

It's been ok. Had some support from my lovely key worker.

Got a mini chicken roast in the oven. Had half of it yesterday but forgot about vegetables. I think I might forget the veg again.

Anyone have dinner plans yet?

not_so_insig 10-12-2018 05:44 PM

I have made myself a latte because I feel cold. CBA to put heating on.

not_so_insig 10-12-2018 05:45 PM

I am having steak pie, Brussel sprouts and carrots.

one_step_closer 10-12-2018 05:45 PM

Surely it takes more effort to make a latte than put the heating on!

one_step_closer 10-12-2018 05:46 PM

Sounds yum Dawn. Half Christmas and half new year.

Cacoethes 10-12-2018 05:46 PM

I'm just going to have plain pasta with cheese

Both of your dinners sound much better!

one_step_closer 10-12-2018 05:48 PM

Actual cheese or cheese sauce?

I agree that our dinners are better than yours. :-p

Cacoethes 10-12-2018 05:53 PM

Actual cheese

Haha! Tis true :p

nonperson 10-12-2018 06:31 PM

I like plain pasta with cheese. I'm going to have my tortellini tonight, I think, and might just have that with no sauce.

not_so_insig 10-12-2018 06:36 PM

I have never had plain pasta with cheese.

not_so_insig 10-12-2018 06:37 PM

Yay my home town got a mention on Pointless!

nonperson 10-12-2018 06:38 PM

The weird guy with the red hat is from very close to my home town...……….!!

Cacoethes 10-12-2018 06:44 PM

I do not watch pointless!

not_so_insig 10-12-2018 06:44 PM

Beckie your favourite celebrity chef is an answer on Pointless.

nonperson 10-12-2018 06:48 PM

Oh I wandered off there.... Was it Ainsley Harriott?!

nonperson 10-12-2018 06:50 PM

And you should watch Pointless! Although they are repeats at the moment. =(

I remember being embarrassed by the weird red hat ecologists before as we're from nearly the same place.

not_so_insig 10-12-2018 06:50 PM

Yes they had a round of pictures of famous celebrity chefs.

nonperson 10-12-2018 06:52 PM

Ah, I'm rubbish at picture rounds of people...

Cacoethes 10-12-2018 06:53 PM

Nooooo not Ainsley Harriot!!! D:

not_so_insig 10-12-2018 06:55 PM

Argh my cat has knocked a bauble off the tree and is chasing it around the room!

nonperson 10-12-2018 06:56 PM

Hope it's not a glass one, Dawn!

not_so_insig 10-12-2018 06:57 PM

It is a glass one!

nonperson 10-12-2018 06:57 PM

Eeek!

nonperson 10-12-2018 07:00 PM

Dawn, do you watch House of Games too?

not_so_insig 10-12-2018 07:01 PM

I have found out that same cat has helped herself to my pie. I now have a pie with a hole in it.

not_so_insig 10-12-2018 07:03 PM

No I haven't seen House of Games what channel is it on?

nonperson 10-12-2018 07:04 PM

It's on BBC2 now. It's Richard Osman hosting it from Pointless.

nonperson 10-12-2018 07:04 PM

Oh and naughty cat!

Cacoethes 10-12-2018 07:05 PM

Naughty kitty!!

not_so_insig 10-12-2018 07:06 PM

Oh I have seen it in the past I saw the week with Anneka Rice on.

nonperson 10-12-2018 07:07 PM

I haven't seen that one. I've not actually watched many of them until recently.

nonperson 10-12-2018 07:08 PM

It's my cat's birthday today. =^.^=

Cacoethes 10-12-2018 07:08 PM

Happy birthday cat!!

nonperson 10-12-2018 07:10 PM

He says thanks and wants to know what treats you've bought him? =P

not_so_insig 10-12-2018 07:14 PM

Happy birthday to nonperson's cat. Next month I would have had my cat 11 years.

nonperson 10-12-2018 07:16 PM

Wow, that's a long time. Did you have him/her from a kitten?

6 years feels like a long time for me and my cat.

not_so_insig 10-12-2018 07:18 PM

No i had her from age 7 though i first met her age 5. She's 17 now.

nonperson 10-12-2018 07:20 PM

17! She's an old girl.

not_so_insig 10-12-2018 07:23 PM

Yes she has the cat version of hiv too so she's doing well.

nonperson 10-12-2018 07:24 PM

Aw poor thing. Is she on lots of medication?

not_so_insig 10-12-2018 07:26 PM

No she's on no medication. Apart from dodgy teeth she is quite spritely for her age. Very agile and is currently on top of a chair.

Cacoethes 10-12-2018 07:28 PM

She sounds like a fighter!

nonperson 10-12-2018 07:28 PM

Ah you must be looking after her very well. =)

Is she the one who was chasing your christmas bauble around?

not_so_insig 10-12-2018 07:29 PM

No that was the six year old.

nonperson 10-12-2018 07:34 PM

Makes sense. Mine doesn't play with toys any more so baubles weren't tempting for him!

Argh, I think I've just rubbed Christmas cake in my eye.... o.x

Cacoethes 10-12-2018 07:40 PM

Christmas cake is not meant to go in eyes!

Aubergine 10-12-2018 07:42 PM
