Cacoethes 07-02-2018 06:15 PM

Ah ok!

At least it wasn't just me! Lol!

Sketchy 07-02-2018 06:16 PM

I’m going to Oban next month. It’s lovely there. Take a walk up to McCaigs Tower. Lovely! I haven’t been there in nearly 15 years.

Aubergine 07-02-2018 06:34 PM

I wouldn't have know either if my friend hadn't moved up there! :)

I've just had a look at that place, Lorraine. Looks great! Will have to ask my friend if we can visit. :)

Are you going with your sister?

Cacoethes 07-02-2018 06:34 PM

I've just googled it.
Its so pretty!

Sketchy 07-02-2018 06:35 PM

I am yes. I can’t wait. I’ll do plenty of sketching and taking photos.

Cheryl88 07-02-2018 06:36 PM

Oban is lovely, never walked up Mccains Tower, though. Nice views from there? I haven't been in a long time, I think I stopped there when i went to Fort William last year.

Sketchy 07-02-2018 06:38 PM

It’s a lovely view from there. I’d like to see fort William too, but I’m only going for two days.

Cheryl88 07-02-2018 06:42 PM

If you go to Glencoe you can do a day trip to Fort William. I used to go camping in Glencoe when I was with my ex. The first time we went he forgot the tent poles and we had to stop at Fort William to buy a new tent. He was totally raging. :D

Sketchy 07-02-2018 06:43 PM

That must have been frustrating. I’ll go to Glencoe one day. We’re lucky to have so much on our doorstep.

Aubergine 07-02-2018 06:51 PM

Camping is fun! Not so much when you forget the tent poles. :P I'm off camping on July. :)

nonperson 07-02-2018 06:57 PM

Clean kitchen and load of washing on. Not hungry for soup yet...

nonperson 07-02-2018 06:57 PM

I've only been festival camping. Not my favourite experience.

Sketchy 07-02-2018 07:01 PM

Well done on cleaning your kitchen Nonperson. You can sit back and relax now.

chinahorse 07-02-2018 07:02 PM

I was made to go camping with the Cassel,, one of the worst experiences of my life and thats saying something :-P

Yay for productivity!

I have applied to all of 1 job. Ooops.

nonperson 07-02-2018 07:02 PM

It wasn't much but much more manageable than doing over a week's worth in one go, which is what normally happens. =/

Cheryl88 07-02-2018 07:05 PM

I just checked my email and my lecturer has been in touch. I went mad and accused her of stalking me, she's basically said she'll be happy to teach me again. I worried about this for months, now it's all sorted. I'm so happy I could get up and dance.

Aubergine 07-02-2018 07:06 PM

Well done, Person. :)

Camping is fun! I'm going to a Christian conference camp thing. Not really sure how to describe it! There's loads to do, but usually just go to the two main meetings and spend the rest of the time playing cards etc with my friends and laughing so hard that I cry. :)

Oh dear, Lillie! :P

Sketchy 07-02-2018 07:07 PM

That’s a weight off your mind Cheryl.

Poor Lillie. I don’t fancy camping either.

Cheryl88 07-02-2018 07:08 PM

Aubergine, I've been to the Keswick conference. Some of the teaching was really good.

Aubergine 07-02-2018 07:08 PM

Oh that's really good Cheryl. :)

Cacoethes 07-02-2018 07:08 PM

I love camping!
I haven't been in years though!

Aubergine 07-02-2018 07:10 PM

See, Beckie knows what fun is!

Sketchy 07-02-2018 07:10 PM

That sounds good Aubergine. I hope you have fun.

nonperson 07-02-2018 07:11 PM

I liked the waking up part of camping, when it's all quiet and nature's all around.

I didn't like being cold and having the mattress go flat and no proper toilets or water.

chinahorse 07-02-2018 07:12 PM

Sounds like you love it Aubergine and that it's fun!

I don't get why people like it though. Why would I pay money to sleep outside on the floor in the freezing cold? I could go sleep in my dads garden and get much the same experience for free.

Pomegranate 07-02-2018 07:12 PM

Camping in general just sounds horrendous lol.

Cacoethes 07-02-2018 07:17 PM

I can see why people would hate it!

I especially love it when it rains and you're all snuggled up in a duvet in a tent with a flask of tea!

Pomegranate 07-02-2018 07:25 PM

I especially love it when it rains and you’re indoors with a heater, a cat and coffee or wine

Sketchy 07-02-2018 07:26 PM

Indoors with a coffee or wine is good!

Cacoethes 07-02-2018 07:30 PM

True dat!

Aubergine 07-02-2018 07:32 PM

I must admit that I like sleeping in my bed after 6 or 7 nights on a roll mat...

In my online tutorial. We're just figuring out using Adobe Connect.

Aubergine 07-02-2018 07:36 PM

They're recording it!

Pomegranate 07-02-2018 07:38 PM

That sounds very stressful!

Aubergine 07-02-2018 07:46 PM

It's OK. I may have muted my microphone!

Cacoethes 07-02-2018 07:46 PM

I hate that kind of thing!
I won't even use Skype

Sketchy 07-02-2018 07:47 PM

I hope your tutorial goes well.

It’s cold tonight.

Cacoethes 07-02-2018 07:50 PM

It is cold!

Holby is on tonight instead of yesterday.
It's going to be weird watching it without pizza!
Holby always coincides with pizza night!

Sketchy 07-02-2018 07:52 PM

It’s on tonight here too but much later because we have a Scottish soap on instead. Would rather it was holby.

Cacoethes 07-02-2018 07:56 PM

Do you ever watch it Lorraine?

Sketchy 07-02-2018 07:57 PM

No. I don’t like it.

Cacoethes 07-02-2018 08:01 PM

Fair enough!

Aubergine 07-02-2018 08:14 PM

Did it!

Cacoethes 07-02-2018 08:19 PM

Yay well done!

Pomegranate 07-02-2018 08:20 PM

Well done Aubergine :-)

Pomegranate 07-02-2018 08:20 PM

Have you eaten tonight?

Aubergine 07-02-2018 08:23 PM

Thanks. :) It was OK, though I used an icon thing to raise my hand because I wanted to ask a question, only to promptly forget what I wanted to ask... :wow: Remembered, but felt like a fool because the tutor had acknowledged my raised hand in front of the group and then I had to type in the text box that I couldn't remember.

I need to get some food. I need to go to bed earlier tonight. I'm so tired and have work in the morning. :nono:

You guys been up to much?

Cacoethes 07-02-2018 08:25 PM

Happens to everyone Aubergine, i wouldn't worry about it!

Aubergine 07-02-2018 08:26 PM

Thanks Beckie. :)

I think food, meds and bed by 11pm is the plan.

Cacoethes 07-02-2018 08:26 PM

That is a good plan!

Aubergine 07-02-2018 08:29 PM

Food at 9pm, meds at 10pm and bed at 11pm! I'm sure I can manage one thing an hour. :-)

Anyone want to go to work for me tomorrow? Anyone at all?
