Hi. I guess I should introduce myself, I’m Alison. I live with 3 cats and my flatmate, currently studying to be a nursery teacher (or I was before the coronavirus hit). Finding this time a bit nerve wracking because we’re not allowed out on placement with kids (obviously) so I don’t know if I’ll graduate this year or whether or not I’ll have to make up time over the summer or not. Anyway, hi!

Also, the coronavirus has cancelled everything except my deadlines for coursework (only got extensions on practical units) so I’m looking to be distracted from all the mountains of work I have to do

I don't think anyone knows what's happening with graduating and exams at all levels at the moment. Uncertainty about things really isn't helping the situation. It will get worked out eventually and for the time being everyone just has to take a big breath and accept that what will be will be. Easier said than done. =P

I have 3. Titchy and Junior are 10 and 9 respectively and belonged to my flatmate before I moved in with her, and we got Sooty together in 2018 so he’s bearly 2 :)

Aw cute. I think our cat loves being the only pet, he gets all the attention.

2 years old is a good age, they're grown up but still act like kittens sometimes.

I also think my cat likes getting all the attention, but I think he would enjoy catty company for when I'm at work usually.

Actually, really well. You’ve to separate them for a few days and keep them in separate rooms, so V (flatmate) had junior and titchy in with her and I had soot in with me. Within a couple of hours they were both wanting to meet him, and now they’re inseparable. Soot still likes to come in with me at night time, and will get jealous if one of the other two come in to ‘his room with his mummy’ but thats only at night time :)

How old is Bertie? They can definitely be good company for each other, but yeah hard to find somewhere that will take more than one.

We are sunbathing outside in the yard. Tied bertie to the bbq leg and brought his climbing tower, water and litter tray out too. Hes still laying on the floor.

Cats are weird

So are dogs.
Mum's dogs will bark at literally nothing and once a fox ran right across one of their fields close to the house and absolutely nothing from the dogs.

Next door's dogs keep barking at me today. =/
