Hopefully you are ok Beckie. Saying that I sent Lorraine's parcel and it took over 10 days to get there. Lorraine sent me an parcel and it only took an extra day to get here. I was expecting a parcel Monday and it arrived yesterday.

It took me the entire length of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone to wrap three things. It really wasn't my finest work this year. =(

I only had 3 things to do this year. One was Lorraine's present and it was breakable so had to have bubble wrap on it as well as wrapping paper. Lorraine didn't say it was broken when arrived to her part of Scotland so it must have been OK.

I think the fact we were told we could have christmas and then it was suddenly taken away makes it feel worse.

Jocelyn's working christmas day so I'm still going to see my mum and brother because they are part of our care bubble and I would struggle with having the boys alone all day but we were planning to spend christmas evening and boxing day with jocelyns family which we now can't do. I feel bad for her but she said shes not fussed.
I'm not sure whats happening with Ethan because both he and his dad currently have Covid.

I think he's doing okay, his symptoms seem to be mild compared to his dads.

We get tested for covid weekly and staff get tested twice a week so chances of any of us getting it is pretty low I would think.

Dawn, they can't have postponed it until boxing day. Something needed to be done straight away, it couldn't wait a week, that's way too much time for things to get even worse. That said they should have predicted this and acted much earlier in which case it wouldn't have been a sudden change.

Anyway...
