I rarely drink hot chocolate. I have options white hot chocolate in my cupboard that has probably been there for years.

Cacoethes 29-05-2023 04:03 PM

I used to really like the options white hot chocolate!

Just been to collect the eggs.
The chickens have eaten and drank loads for some reason! So had to top everything up.
Even though there was still food and water in there, when i filled up the bowls, they were acting like they hadn't eaten or drank all day! Strange creatures!

tamobhuuta 29-05-2023 04:08 PM

I decided not to go for coffee. Thank you for your support at this difficult time.

At the moment I've got Galaxy instant hot chocolate that you make with water, and my posh hot chocolate Velvetiser machine when I'm feeling decadent which is milk.

nonperson 29-05-2023 04:09 PM

I buy the Galaxy hot chocolate!

Chickens are amusing, I like them =P I used to feed my boss's ones blackberries. They'd follow me around until they got some.

Cacoethes 29-05-2023 04:23 PM

I may go and make a hot chocolate now!

My brother bought them a pack of melon and grapes when he came the other day! They loved it!

I'm watching a terrible shark movie with worse acting than a GCSE drama class

nonperson 29-05-2023 04:29 PM

I also used to feed them my reject pumpkins. >=)

Ahhh GCSE drama... x.X

I'm watching Young Sheldon but my washing has finished so I should probably go do something about that and go outside...

one_step_closer 29-05-2023 04:33 PM

Chickens eating fruit  not that I even know what chickens eat.

Maybe you can have your luxury hot chocolate when you feel better, Tamo.

Surely you've seen all the terrible shark films there are by now, Beckie?

one_step_closer 29-05-2023 04:33 PM

Will you get enough outside time to get them dried today, NP?

nonperson 29-05-2023 04:34 PM

Possibly. It's still sunny and breezy! Perfect drying conditions =)

Pi.R^2 29-05-2023 04:36 PM

Ugh, how did I know you’d (generally) be a bunch of water hot chocolate people :plain:

one_step_closer 29-05-2023 04:37 PM

I hope you do get them all dry and smelling fresh. I wish I could put my washing outside but it annoys my hay fever.

one_step_closer 29-05-2023 04:38 PM

That must mean you prefer milk then, Jenna?

one_step_closer 29-05-2023 04:40 PM

Once in hospital someone offered to make me an orange hot chocolate which turned out to be hot chocolate with half an orange in the middle.

Cacoethes 29-05-2023 04:42 PM

Chickens eat basically everything
They have been known to kill and eat rats
They are ruthless tbh

I thought i had seen all the terrible shark films but apparently not!

Knew you'd be a milk hot chocolate snob jenna :tongue2:

Oh yes, I have one right now. Cadbury's with coconut milk and raspberry syrup. Perfect!

Good grief. Erm, is it wrong to ask if this offer was made by a staff member or, ahem, someone who was unwell?
Also I have some orange hot chocolate that sainsbury's did one year for Christmas and it's absolutely disgusting and offends me every time I see it in the cupboard.

Because of my posh accent????

one_step_closer 29-05-2023 04:51 PM

Ooh, I've never tried any syrups in hot chocolate.

It was a patient.

Do you need to keep the orange hot chocolate? Do you like being offended regularly by it?

Cacoethes 29-05-2023 04:58 PM

Yep, because of the posh accent XD

I'm watching a film called Aquarium of the Dead now.
From what i can gather, an aquarium is taken over by a virus and they have to stop it getting into the ocean. I am hoping for zombie fish

Cacoethes 29-05-2023 05:13 PM

Yessss zombie fish!!!

Such a sensible question. I think I was hoping I'd find someone to give it to instead of wasting it but at this point I really should just throw it out!!

Yikes. Is 'sea creatures' a favourite genre of yours?

Cacoethes 29-05-2023 05:17 PM

Really awful films are a favourite genre!
Sharks specifically, but zombie fish (with the possibility of sharks) was too good an opportunity to pass up!

one_step_closer 29-05-2023 05:48 PM

Zombie fish are too much in my opinion.

Cacoethes 29-05-2023 05:50 PM

There were zombie starfish XD
It is a lot. But hilarious!

one_step_closer 29-05-2023 05:53 PM

I can't even imagine what a zombie starfish looks like. Such a weird film! I don't like fish in general though.

Cacoethes 29-05-2023 05:58 PM

I live for weird films! XD
Fish are kinda freaky. I like to eat them though!

one_step_closer 29-05-2023 06:04 PM

I also like to eat them. As long as they don't look like a fish!

Cacoethes 29-05-2023 06:05 PM

Absolutely!
Now I want salmon

one_step_closer 29-05-2023 06:07 PM

I don't think I've ever had salmon before. Always regarded it as a posh fish! What do you serve it with?

long road 29-05-2023 06:10 PM

Evening!

Strangely I use both hot water and milk. The hot chocolate I buy recommends mixing the powder (which has milk powder in it) with milk and then adding hot water. Makes it creamier but it means as someone who doesn't own a microwave that I don't have to get a pan dirty to heat the milk. I am considering buying a milk steamer though after using a cool one on holiday

one_step_closer 29-05-2023 06:12 PM

Hi, Jen. You had to be the strange one! How is your day going?

Ahimsa 29-05-2023 06:19 PM

I can't drink hot chocolate without milk!!!!

long road 29-05-2023 06:26 PM

Day has been alright. My breathing has been better today than yesterday, although it's a little off again now.

Not done much. My friend K was meant to be coming over with her partner E so the four of us could play board games this afternoon but she wasn't feeling well so I just watched some more midsomer murders and had a nap.

Now I am doing our online shop.

Cacoethes 29-05-2023 06:29 PM

At work we have salmon with new potatoes and greens with a sauce.
I think that's a pretty common way of serving it!
Love salmon!

You don't own a microwave jen???

How did I know you wouldn't be. :eyeroll:

one_step_closer 29-05-2023 06:33 PM

Do you have a favourite kind of hot chocolate, Beth? Did you get your craft stuff?

Sounds like an ok day, Jen. It's a shame you didn't get to play board games though. I hope your friend feels better soon. I hope your breathing doesn't give you any trouble. Where do you do your online shop? I also wanted to question your lack of microwave!

I'll need to try salmon at some point then.

Wow. In what way do zombie starfish look and/or behave differently to normal starfish??

nonperson 29-05-2023 06:34 PM

Oooh salmon is my fish weakness.

I sometimes do it with new potatoes and broccoli or wild rice (fancy) and "five bean salad."

Pi.R^2 29-05-2023 06:34 PM

As if editing reasons steal one's swearing

one_step_closer 29-05-2023 06:35 PM

Beckie and NP seem to know everything about Jenna!

I saw it before you edited. And yes, yes it did :crying:

:P

nonperson 29-05-2023 06:36 PM

I can't keep up.

Pi.R^2 29-05-2023 06:36 PM

:crying:

Pi.R^2 29-05-2023 06:37 PM

Me neither!

one_step_closer 29-05-2023 06:37 PM

I'd like to see a list of NPs redeeming features if it's going to be bigging up NP.

Cacoethes 29-05-2023 06:37 PM

You do need to try salmon! Probably my favourite fish!

Zombie starfish will throw themselves at you and infect you with the zombie virus apparently. And they will continue to do so even if you destroy their central nervous system, which usually stops zombies. Apparently not in fish.

Ooh wild rice! Very fancy!

Cacoethes 29-05-2023 06:37 PM

I've known jenna for a very long time XD

nonperson 29-05-2023 06:37 PM

How do you decapitate a starfish? o.O

Nooo, we don't need to go there.
