Cacoethes 09-02-2024 11:57 AM

Morning!
I'm ok thanks. Tired.
You?

long road 09-02-2024 12:44 PM

Morning! (Just)

I have a day of medical appointments ahead. Asthma review face to face at GP surgery at 2pm. Telephone appointment with GP about mental health sometime between 6 -7pm.

And just got off phone with someone from IAPT. It's no to EMDR with them for now and might be no from anywhere until I am more stable and my life is more stable i.e. not being admitted to hospital every month or 2 for asthma. More details on my thread.

Cacoethes 09-02-2024 12:54 PM

What a fun day for you jen!

long road 09-02-2024 01:09 PM

I know right :p

To add to the excitement wil pick up my prescription after asthma nurse appointment!

Anyone doing anything more thrilling than me?

Cacoethes 09-02-2024 01:19 PM

Very exciting! :tongue2:

I have a driving lesson at 12:30
Then i need to clean the boys out
I did asda/aldi/pharmacy this morning

one_step_closer 09-02-2024 01:28 PM

Hi everyone. Hope your days go well.

Hope your day doesn't tire you out too much, Jen, and the appointments are helpful.

Enjoy your driving lesson, Beckie.

How are you, Tamo?

long road 09-02-2024 01:41 PM

Driving is actually exciting! Hope the lesson goes well!

Hello Lindsay, How are you?

tamobhuuta 09-02-2024 02:13 PM

Good luck with all your appointments lr.

Have fun Cacoethes!

I've been to Mass and Confession, the priest was really nice. I also had a missed call and email from the ward matron wanting to talk about my complaint. I replied saying to call between 1.30 and 2.30. I'm a very busy lady.

Cacoethes 09-02-2024 03:10 PM

My lesson went very well thanks guys!
Didn't put a foot wrong, according to my instructor :-D

How's everyone's day going?

Hopefully the matron will be helpful tamo

long road 09-02-2024 03:23 PM

Asthma Nurse Appointment done. As I expected not anything extra they can do from a primary care perspective but she is going to poke the severe asthma consultant for me as I should have had an appointment by now.

Just grabbing my prescription now and then home for a bit of a rest before GP phonecall later.

Hope matron is helpful Tamo and not overly defensive.

Well done on your driving Beckie. It's important not to put a foot wrong when one of those feet is on th accelerator XD

Cacoethes 09-02-2024 03:25 PM

Hopefully the poking works!
I find specialist doctors need a fair bit of poking sometimes!

Thank you!
And that is a very good point XD

tamobhuuta 09-02-2024 03:51 PM

How's the afternoon going? I spoke to the matron. I'm going forward with my complaint and with getting the diagnosis taken off.

Cacoethes 09-02-2024 03:56 PM

That's good tamo
Some drs love to throw the eupd diagnosis about, hopefully it will be easily taken off. I know once you've got it, it's a right pain to get rid of!
I've been told i don't meet the criteria for years, but they refuse to get rid of it on the notes for some reason :eyeroll:

long road 09-02-2024 04:24 PM

*fingers crossed* I really need a long term plan rather than just managing attacks when they happen.

Cacoethes 09-02-2024 04:56 PM

Yeah it's not ideal

one_step_closer 09-02-2024 05:05 PM

Well done everyone for what you've managed.

Cacoethes 09-02-2024 05:08 PM

Thanks lindsay
What have you been up to?

one_step_closer 09-02-2024 05:11 PM

I finally managed to go to Tesco. Also washed my hair and finished the book I was reading.

Cacoethes 09-02-2024 05:14 PM

Well done!

one_step_closer 09-02-2024 05:17 PM

Thank you.

It's freezing today. Are you warm enough?

Cacoethes 09-02-2024 05:24 PM

I don't think it's cold at all today!
Drizzly but not cold

tamobhuuta 09-02-2024 05:40 PM

I hate how they bandy about the EUPD diagnosis. It's a serious mental illness! But they throw it at you if you're at all difficult.

Here it's quite cold, and dark.

Cacoethes 09-02-2024 06:49 PM

Yep! It's very unfair

Maybe it is actually cold and I'm just ill or something!
I have been feeling very unusually tired lately

one_step_closer 09-02-2024 07:01 PM

It's really cold here, plus it doesn't help that I need to keep my box room window open to dry the clothes. Even though the door is closed and I have a draught excluder the wind blows at the door.

I hope you're not unwell, Beckie.

Cacoethes 09-02-2024 07:30 PM

That doesn't sound pleasant! Draughts are awful

I hope not too!
If it's still a thing on monday, I'll call the GP
It very much isn't normal for me to be like this
Doesn't feel like normal tired

long road 09-02-2024 08:22 PM

Have read but too tired to reply to everyone

My GP phonecall went well. He is going to write a letter to CMHT saying that he thinks my case is to complex to be managed in primary care/ with only charity support worker person.

Cacoethes 10-02-2024 08:58 AM

Morning everyone

tamobhuuta 10-02-2024 11:05 AM

Morning! How are you?

Cacoethes 10-02-2024 11:09 AM

Morning tamo!

I'm not entirely sure.
I still feel a crisis brewing but i don't have time for a crisis so trying to push through.

How are you?

tamobhuuta 10-02-2024 11:34 AM

That's not good :( I'm ok, need to do the dishwasher. The cat drank my water! Even though his was 6ft away.

Cacoethes 10-02-2024 11:36 AM

I'll live

Naughty cat! Your water must have looked more appealing!

tamobhuuta 10-02-2024 11:39 AM

Ask for help if you need it. Sooner rather than later!

Cacoethes 10-02-2024 12:05 PM

My new cpn should be calling next week. If she does. I can hope that she's not as useless as previous cpn, but we shall see.

tamobhuuta 10-02-2024 12:06 PM

I've done the dishwasher and the drying up. Dad's gone to the butcher's but when he gets back he's going to make tea :) then big sis is coming over lunchtime.

tamobhuuta 10-02-2024 12:07 PM

A non useless cpn! That would be great. Fingers crossed for you.

Cacoethes 10-02-2024 12:26 PM

Well done!
Sounds like a nice day planned

It would be! Thank you!

one_step_closer 10-02-2024 01:26 PM

I really hope you can get the support you need and deserve, Beckie.

Tamo, there is no such thing as your water. Everything belongs to cats! Well done with what you've managed so far. Hope you have a nice day.

Cacoethes 10-02-2024 01:38 PM

Thanks lindsay

How are you?

one_step_closer 10-02-2024 01:40 PM

Just my usual.

Are you doing anything nice today?

Cacoethes 10-02-2024 01:56 PM

Not sure yet.
I've cleaned out the boys and been to asda
No other real plans

one_step_closer 10-02-2024 04:45 PM

Hope everyone is getting on ok.

Cacoethes 10-02-2024 04:51 PM

Just done costco. Sensory overload on steroids!

tamobhuuta 10-02-2024 04:57 PM

It's a long time since I've been to Costco. Very sensey.

I'm ok. Mum wants me to take lorazepam for my spasming but it was prescribed for anxiety and I wasn't given any when I left hospital.

tamobhuuta 10-02-2024 06:07 PM

I took lorazepam.

one_step_closer 10-02-2024 06:46 PM

I have never been to Costco.

Hope the Lorazepam helps, Tamo.

Cacoethes 10-02-2024 06:56 PM

Costco is awesome, but also a sensory and anxiety hell!

I got L insured on my car as well so she can take me out driving now :-D

one_step_closer 10-02-2024 07:01 PM

Sign me up and I'll take you driving too! I'd be awful at it though!

Cacoethes 10-02-2024 07:16 PM

Yesss lindsay!!
Nah you'd be fine!
I don't even need any guidance anymore. I just drive!

one_step_closer 10-02-2024 07:19 PM

In that case you can just be my taxi!

tamobhuuta 10-02-2024 08:26 PM

Since my brother got his licence, he's just been our free taxi service.
