Enjoy your one tree hill. It's good to relax in front of a tv program.

Cacoethes 15-11-2016 08:00 PM

Yeah cars are super expensive! Tax, MOT, insurance and petrol and probably more!

Im going to slimming world tonight. I haven't decided whether I'm going to stay for the group or not. Depends how I've done this week.
I'll be watching holby at some point too!

Sketchy 15-11-2016 08:01 PM

I haven't watched holby in years. I watch casualty though.

Voldemort 15-11-2016 08:07 PM

I'm kind of bored of watching the same thing every day though.

Maybe you should stay for the support bit, regardless of how you've done, it may be of some help.

I haven't watched Holby in years.

not_so_insig 15-11-2016 08:08 PM

I got a dyson cordless vacuum cleaner. The holder and charger go on the wall but atm it's on a multiway socket on the floor. It was refurbished from dyson direct so I had to use it before the warranty runs out.

Sketchy 15-11-2016 08:09 PM

Sounds like a good vacuum.

Voldemort 15-11-2016 08:09 PM

Man, is it any good? I want one but they're so expensive.

not_so_insig 15-11-2016 08:12 PM

Yes it's good except for the large bits of cat food but it could be also down to the attachment I am using since I have only used the one so far. I have a dyson upright vacuum but I prefer the cordless.

Voldemort 15-11-2016 08:15 PM

Hmmm. I definitely want one.

not_so_insig 15-11-2016 08:21 PM

Best getting it refurbished from eBay from dyson themselves as it's cheaper than the stores. My upright vacuum cleaner also came that way.

Voldemort 15-11-2016 08:24 PM

Ahh, I won't be getting one any time soon, I just want one!

Cacoethes 15-11-2016 10:35 PM

I want a Dyson as well. They look so good on TV!
I have a £20 vacuum cleaner which works ok for my little house. But would be nice to have a posh vacuum cleaner!

Sketchy 15-11-2016 10:40 PM

I wouldn't mind one too.

Is it sad that I'm already tucked in bed? I'm trying to make up for not being able to sleep.

Cacoethes 15-11-2016 10:49 PM

Definitely not sad!
Early nights are good :)

Sketchy 15-11-2016 10:52 PM

what are you up to?

Voldemort 15-11-2016 11:18 PM

Early nights all round I believe!

[Luna] 16-11-2016 11:00 AM

Morning all.
How is everyone?
This morning is running away from me.

Cacoethes 16-11-2016 02:26 PM

Yep I had an early night too!

Hi Luna!
I've only just got up :ermm:
Watching police interceptors. Need to go to asda soon.

What are you up to today?

Voldemort 16-11-2016 06:23 PM

Evening all.

Cacoethes 16-11-2016 07:12 PM

Evening! How are you?

Voldemort 16-11-2016 07:24 PM

Ahh, I've been better tbh, but that's for this thread. =P

How are you? How was your day?

Cacoethes 16-11-2016 07:37 PM

I'm ok thanks! Went to the shops and watched harry potter. That's pretty much my day!
Maths at college tomorrow. Booooo!!

How about you?

Voldemort 16-11-2016 07:44 PM

Doesn't sound like too bad a day. Boo to maths though, seriously, ick.

I've slept a lot today tbh and am now chilling with OTH.

Cacoethes 16-11-2016 07:56 PM

It's been a pretty good day :)
It's nice not to have to do much.
Yeah. Maths sucks. I hate it with a passion!

Chilling is good :)

Voldemort 16-11-2016 07:59 PM

Most of my days are filled with nothing these days. I'm fed up of it tbh. I don't mind simple maths, it's when you get into quadratic equations and **** that I start to suffer.

Cacoethes 16-11-2016 08:06 PM

I know what you mean. It does get boring doing nothing.
Do you have many groups available?

I hate all maths. I have major anxiety around it which makes me perform worse which then contributes more to the anxiety! It's a vicious circle.
My teacher is pretty good though. I spoke to her right at the start about how maths often reduces me to tears and she's been really accommodating. And I haven't cried yet!

Voldemort 16-11-2016 08:09 PM

There are some groups but not very many tbh.

I'm glad your teacher is being nice about it, that really makes a difference.

Cacoethes 16-11-2016 08:58 PM

Maybe you could take up a hobby? Like knitting or something. I downloaded a language app and tried to learn a bit of Spanish which took up a bit of time.

It really does. I'm so grateful to her for her help. And she noticed last lesson I sat on my own and didn't make me do any group work because she could see I wanted to be left alone. I could have hugged her!

Voldemort 16-11-2016 09:19 PM

I'm bad at knitting and my concentration is terrible! I'm just sleeping a lot at the moment because of the new med I think.

Ah she sounds amazing. It really makes a difference when you have a teacher like that.

Cacoethes 16-11-2016 09:44 PM

Yeah it definitely does knock you out that med. You get used to it though after a while.

Definitely. She makes maths a bit more bearable!

I'm watching GP: behind closed doors now. I like this show.

Voldemort 16-11-2016 10:16 PM

I'm not completely zonked out by it but I am sort of tired.

I've wanted to see that programme for a while but never caught it.

Cacoethes 16-11-2016 10:26 PM

When I take my night time dose I'm out in about an hour. Which is good really because not being able to sleep sucks.

It's pretty interesting. You can probably get it on 5 catch up or whatever the online version of channel 5 is

Voldemort 16-11-2016 10:39 PM

What dosage are you on?

We don't get channel 5 in Ireland I don't think unfortunately.

Cacoethes 16-11-2016 10:57 PM

150 in the morning and 300 in the evening.

Ah that's a shame. What do you have instead of channel 5? It never occurred to me that Ireland wouldn't have the same channels as us!

Unbreakable. 16-11-2016 11:02 PM

That post reveals your imperialistic mindset. Shame on you.

Cacoethes 16-11-2016 11:08 PM

That's the second time I've been shamed in this thread!
But I may have deserved that one!

Do you have a channel 5 lana?

Voldemort 16-11-2016 11:08 PM

Ah that's quite a high dose? Mine's just gone up to 125mg morning and night.

I don't know what we have instead.

Cacoethes 16-11-2016 11:13 PM

I've been told it's a good dose. I don't know how high it goes. I may have a Google.

Channel 5 is generally pretty **** tbh apart from GPs behind closed doors

Voldemort 16-11-2016 11:18 PM

I think in extreme cases it can go up to 900 but they try to keep it between 200 and 400 from what I know.

Channel 5 used to have a really good programme called The Tribe. I remember watching it as a kid.

Sketchy 16-11-2016 11:37 PM

Hello everyone

Unbreakable. 17-11-2016 01:13 AM

The Tribe was a thing here too. It seemed good, but I think it was on when I was still at school.

Well, Becky, you get what you deserve!
And no, we do not have any English channels on German TV.

[Luna] 17-11-2016 09:14 AM

Me and my brother used to watch The tribe!
Channel 5 used to have some good children's programmes in the mornings.

Cacoethes 17-11-2016 10:36 AM

I've never heard of the tribe!
They do have good kids shows early in the morning. It's called milkshake I think.

Voldemort 17-11-2016 04:59 PM

Yeah it was a good show. How is everyone today?

Cacoethes 17-11-2016 05:21 PM

I'm ok. Just got home from college. I finish at 1:30 but had to go to argos and then the bus is an hour and then I had to go to asda.
Glad to be home!

How are you voldy?

Voldemort 17-11-2016 05:27 PM

Wow. Long day. My sympathies.

I'm exhausted. I slept all night then practically all morning and I could sleep again. Also my vision has gone oddly blurry.

Cacoethes 17-11-2016 05:39 PM

Thanks. Thankfully I am now free until college on Tuesday ! Still need to do a presentation for English though.

Have you told anyone about the blurry vision? Could be a side effect

Voldemort 17-11-2016 05:40 PM

That's not so bad then. And you've plenty of time to do your presentation.

Yeah. I'll mention it to my nurse if I get speaking with her.

Cacoethes 17-11-2016 06:07 PM

I do indeed. But I am a chronic procrastinator!

Good good!

I'm watching iron man. Love marvel films and Tony stark is my favourite

Voldemort 17-11-2016 06:26 PM

Omg. I love Iron Man. Robert Downey Junior. Swoon!
