mainly tired :laugh: had college last night which meant actually leaving the house and socialising so now my brain is tired. On the positive though the evening actually went ok and I managed to drive there and back with no issues

not really... I am doing a bit of PIP MR prep, I dont have a final decision from them yet but based on the medical assesment report that I have I am fully expecting to get 0 points, so trying to be proactive. Going to attempt to force myself out for a walk later though, I need to start trying to make myself get out the house more I think

I had my blood test, my next task is to put my meds in my little weekly box.

I've only been to the zoo as a child so I can't remember it. I've been to a safari park as an adult but can't remember much of that either!

I have some sugar free salted caramel syrup coming tomorrow for my coffee!

I like caramel but don't like coffee although all your talk about the combinations makes me want to try it. There is a caramel cold drink minus coffee you can get somewhere but I can't remember where or what it's called. I used to get that all the time when I met up with my brother and he wanted to go for a coffee.

Starbucks do a nice caramel frappucino. You can choose either a coffee base or a cream base.

Maybe that's what I had. I know there are other coffee based drinks that can be made without coffee. I'll need to ask my brother if we can go to Starbucks the next time we meet up.

Zoo trip is exciting! I love giraffes so much and elephants are magnificent.

I've just had boiler dramas
I ran out of money on the gas meter
And the worst thing is, when I was in asda earlier I thought 'hm, haven't topped up the gas in a while' but STILL DIDN'T DO IT!!!
Thank goodness for emergency credit! I need a smart meter
Then I had to reset my boiler which I was terrified of doing because I'm scared of boilers and it's the first time I've had to do it with my new boiler (google helped with error codes)
So yes. That's enough excitement for one evening!
And I finally got my shower!

Hellooo. I'm ok, absolutely shattered but today is my Friday so I'm in weekend mode now.

Oh my, drama indeed. Emergency credit really is useful! As is Google. Well done for getting it sorted!

I've had minor boiler drama too - someone was meant to come today to fit a new part on it, but they turned up and realised they can't do the work because they didn't know it was a combi boiler. So I tidied up the kitchen and everywhere for the second time for no reason!

I bloody well do deserve a break. Although technically, I'm just shifting weekend days around at the moment and not gaining any extra days off. And have been working extra hours and doing 5am starts...!!

Ugh. Why do these people always take so long to do stuff!

I can (and sometimes do) claim time off in lieu instead of paid overtime if I want, but I'm struggling to use up my normal annual leave allowance as it is.

I'd usually agree that 5am is too early for anything, but Sunday and Monday were exceptions that I would gladly do again!

I know, it's because they need to change the entire boiler though. At least they did actually turn up this time, last time they were a complete no show without even a phone call. And someone should have told them in advance that me and my neighbour have different boilers to everyone else! I think they came all the way from Devon too. =|
