Everyone's busy busy! I've been to therapy, that's me for the day.

I haven't done much today just some laundry, planning my meals for the rest of the week on my meal planner, and catching up with classic Coronation Street. I still have to put my recycling box out plus it's ordinary bin week this week so have to put that out too. Plus write some postcards.

Online forms are much better than phone calls!

Next Friday. But after paying just my rent, I will have £17 left. And still need to pay all other bills, including car payment and petrol. My car tax is due on 1st August. I can't get to my new job without a car. And other less important but still important bills.

She already is and has already been covering basically everything. She doesn't mind, but I feel so useless! And idk what the UC situation is now we've merged our claim. We won't know how much we'll get for a couple of weeks. And I still have to pay £720 in rent for this month and next month.
Once I'm done paying rent in my old house and I've started my new job, things should settle. It's just getting there.

In positive news, we've just found out we can put glass into the recycling bins from August!

It's been driving to the recycling place 20 minutes away for the past 10 (at least) years to recycle a mayo jar!

I wrote 12 postcards in the end Lindsay. Most are going within Europe so I am hoping that they arrive soon. One is going to Brazil! I can't send any more atm until they arrive or they expire (postcards expire once they have been travelling for more than 60 days). I can send a maximum of 14 cards at once.

Yes it will only allow you to request addresses if you have a slot free. If you don't have a slot free then you can't send any more. Once a card gets registered or it expires then you get a new slot. I only have 14 slots and they're all currently taken hence why I can't send any more. For every 50 cards registered you get an additional slot up to a maximum of 100 slots.

There's a forum which people arrange private swaps which aren't counted towards the slots limits. I only do them very rarely due to the cost of stamps and even then it's mostly within the UK.

I'm also in the UK and have never heard of this process. Do you not just go to the post office and post whatever? I mean how would they (and who are they?!) know if you took 20 to different post offices?

I have a few bits to do. Need to return something to screwfix, go to the gym, clean the boys out, sort out some doctor things, chase up paperwork things for my new job and sort car insurance hopefully when my nanny sends me some money hopefully this afternoon. I hope it'll be enough because car insurance quotes can change by the hour and what it was yesterday may not be what it is today.
